018 Message War

Karonsky II thought of Vince Carter.
That demi-human, half-god, won the slam dunk contest in 2000, and the legendary Carter is still fighting in the NBA 18 years later.
Carter's physical fitness naturally needs no explanation. At the age of 23, he participated in the slam dunk contest of All-Star Weekend, and with his super bounce and perfect strength, O'Neal, who was sitting on the sidelines and was a "dunk bully", was shocked. At the Sydney Olympics that year, Carter almost pressed the opponent under his crotch through the 2.18-meter center of the French team and staged a "death button". Even at the age of 40 years and 24 days, Carter could still start FedEx Arena and scored 24 points on 8-of-8 shooting, including a violent back dunk that allowed him to drive his scooter again...
Carter is 1.98 meters tall and Abdul Salamu is 2.02 meters, both of whom also play as small forwards or shooting guards.
If Abdul Salamu can get a call from Vince Kad, and even practice together for a summer (at the moment, Carter Sr. has no plans to retire and will continue to compete in the new season), then the former's hopes of playing in the NBA will undoubtedly be greatly enhanced.
But there is an awkward premise to this assumption: Kalonsky II and Vince Carter were not acquainted.
Carter was the son of Karonsky II and a client of Scott Jr.

It seems that one or two out of every ten fathers and sons have an embarrassing father-son relationship. Unfortunately, in the three generations of Kalonsky's family, the relationship between the two pairs of father and son from top to bottom is not harmonious. Kalonsky II and Scott Jr. had a fight, but it was because Carter...
Karonsky II hesitated for a long time, but still took out his phone and edited a message for Scott Jr. They don't usually casually greet each other, and when they encounter important things that they have to say, the two have communicated in this strange way for many years.
"Scott, there's something I want to trouble you. Do you still have a close relationship with Vince Carter? If it's convenient, I'd like to contact him through you. β
Karonsky II sent a message, adding another one, writing:
"Thank you!"
It didn't take long for Scott Jr.'s reply message to reach Karonsky II's phone, and he clicked to open it, only to see that this reply without the previous text was written:
"There's definitely a connection. You should know best, Dad. β
Kalonsky waited for a while, and after ten minutes or so, another message from Scott Jr. arrived.
"I'd like to know what you're looking for Mr. Carter for, because it's abrupt to make a direct contact. I saw you go to Summer League and watch two Warriors games in a row... Do you want to cultivate that Chinese, Abudu What wood?! Little Scott seemed to know everything, and replied to the point.
"Abdul Salamu - Abdul Rexit. His physical abilities... I get it. Little Scott was indeed sharp, muttering an answer, but he had already deduced the purpose of his father's contact today.
"He can't. You don't have to waste your time. He sent a third in a row.
Talking about the relationship between father and son, it directly negated the plan of Kalonsky II.
Karonsky II had no choice but to re-edit a longer message, patiently explaining:
"You judge the same way as I do. I don't think he's ready to take on the challenge of the NBA, and this young man struggled in the summer league. But it's worth giving him a chance, there's something valuable about him, and you can definitely see it. He's not too young, and this summer could be his last chance. If Mr. Vince Carter, your client, can give him some pointers, he'll at least have a chance..."
"What chances? Go to the NBA to form a Chinese legion? They are not players at the same level at all..."
"I never thought about that."
'You should be well aware that with your approach, there will be a limit to how much a player can improve in a summer.
"Maybe..."
There was a long silence. After replying to these three words, Karonsky II's mobile phone did not ring for a long time.
He knew that this was his most fundamental disagreement with Scott Jr. He is a talent theorist, but he believes that hard work, and only hard work, can make up for the defects of talent to a certain extent, and if there are famous teachers and predecessors to help and guide, this process of hard work can get twice the result with half the effort.
But there are no shortcuts.
But his son, Scott Jr., took a different view. He's taken a completely different path: all athletes' stats, except for talent, can be tuned, just like computers, like robots.
"If you want to contact Mr. Vince Carter...", after a long time, Kalonsky II's phone received another message, and after a while, the second half of it was received, as if the sender himself was struggling: "You need to agree to two conditions with me." β
"Say it."
"First, you need to give me a full account of your plans for that young Chinese man, Abdul Salamu. You asked Mr. Vince Carter to take him on his physical strength, and I couldn't have agreed. Especially considering the disagreement we had over Carter... But now I see it more lightly, your method may be old-fashioned, and it is not efficient enough..."
Kalonsky II on the other end of the phone looked at the message and shook his head, but in order to create this opportunity, he chose to continue reading:
ββ¦ But maybe you have your persistence. Maybe you'll eventually realize the backwardness of your approach, but you're still my father β but work is another story! If you would like to ask me to convey your intention to cooperate to Mr. Carter, I would like to have a clear understanding of your plans, timeline, and future goals. I need to be accountable to my most important customers, and you'll agree with that. β
"If there's something I don't agree with in your plan...", it seems that Scott Jr.'s request hasn't been made yet, and his next message is coming after him like a storm, "I'll ask you for improvement." These are the requirements that you must adopt. I wouldn't have proposed it to Mr. Carter until I thought the plan was foolproof, because he was more than just a client to me, he was one of the most important people in my life. β
The most important person in life.
Kalonsky II frowned, and his heart was mixed.
But he couldn't help but delete the message and continued reading: "His identification is very important to me. It's safe to say that without Carter's success, I would never have gotten to where I am today β probably repeating the same old path you and Grandpa did. That's why I'll contact him after confirming your plans. β
Karonsky II didn't want to argue any further, so he simply replied with the word "OK".
He just wants to end the controversy as soon as possible and get the result he wants.
Maybe it was a mistake to find Scott Jr. in the first place?
"Good. Now that you've agreedβ" Scott Jr. looked like he was about to make a second request.
"Then I'll tell you my second request."
"Say it."
"Even if Mr. Vince Carter agrees to your initiative, I will also be there when your special training begins."
"βI'm going to see how the hell you do it."
