Commentary on the Question of Spiritual Flesh (4) (Mitsuki Umihara)

Mitsuki Umihara felt that he couldn't say anything.

He had never seen such a fragile Yan Bi, and the impression inherent in his memory was completely subverted.

"Senpai......"

Who is it and what kind of things have you done? How did you get a girl to the point where she was about to collapse?

Kaihara didn't know what to say, and he didn't even know what had happened to him. However, there is an emotion that is rising from the bottom of my heart.

Umihara never thought of himself as a noble person, nor did he think he could move forward fearlessly like the heroes of those legends. Even those characters who expand the concept of "salvation" to an unbelievable range at every turn seem to him to have a tendency to be in the middle of the disease.

Saving humanity? Save the planet? Saving society?

Please, what do you think you are? Do these concepts need you to save? Putting yourself on top of these huge concepts, do you really think you're God?

It's not that he looks down on those heroes, it's just that he's not an idealist, but an out-and-out realist. As a physics enthusiast accustomed to understanding the world with rigorous mathematical formulas and objective laws, he was in awe of everything he understood.

But even so, he wants to be able to protect the people around him. At the very least, those who trust you are able to lend a helping hand when your loved ones and friends need you. Just like the most ordinary people want to do on their own.

He's not a great guy, even he thinks so. But even if it's not a big deal, it doesn't mean you can't do anything.

In a way, he doesn't even quite fit the definition of an ideal man in a man's mind; But on the other hand, he seems to be the ideal man in the eyes of women. Interestingly, although it does not quite fit the definition of an ideal man in a man's mind, a man will also agree with him because of this.

The root cause of Haiyuan's popularity in reality is because of his qualities.

In the theory of personality icons, this trait is called animus. Excluding the mythical part of the original Animus concept, which is simply the ideal male image in the minds of women, Haiyuan possesses such qualities.

So, he made the decision almost very naturally.

In any case, it is necessary to pull your gentle senpai back from the abyss. Although Mitsuki Haihara can be said to know nothing about the cause and effect, her fragile appearance makes him make up his mind without hesitation.

Taking a step back, the fluctuations of telekinesis traveled under his feet. He suddenly lifted his foot, and the concrete slab was completely broken and peeled off the floor by his act, and the whole floor slab smashed towards the newly restored human form with his movements.

For normal people, such a huge area is simply impossible to dodge. But for Salt Bi, it didn't even have the value of letting her dodge.

The girl's body instantly twisted into a dense pile of black thorns that were more than five meters long, stretching from the floor to two floors. The unbelievable appearance resembles a giant thorny sea urchin, and it also looks like a jungle of thorns. Each thorn has a terrifying strength and tenacity. The moment it came into contact with these thorns, the floor slab was completely pierced by these sharp thorns, and it was split into a pile of fragments hanging on top of the thorns.

This was just the beginning, and the spike's orb immediately melted into a puddle of liquid, which then dispersed in a linear pattern along the ground like raindrops on a glass window.

Boom!

In a sound like an overall impact, a large slab on the 38th floor was completely removed from the building under the penetration of the liquid that had been turned into the salt and blue. As a result, Haiwon had to fall down one floor with the floor slab again.

The real threat isn't here, though.

During the fall, Haiwon maintained an astonishing concentration. He suddenly stretched out his hand, grabbed a black thorn that was attacking out of thin air, and then threw it out directly.

As he expected, the thorns that were thrown out triggered a violent explosion on the spot. The explosion was so ferocious that it shattered the remnants of the 38th, 39th, 40th, and 41st floors on his head, as well as the intact 42nd, 43rd, 44th, and 45th floors, causing concrete debris and smoke to fly all over the sky.

This is not the way to go. Under the complex terrain, it is too advantageous for those who have the ability to cope with the ever-changing physical changes.

The inside of the building began to spray a lot of water. This was caused by the fact that the sectional water mains that ran from the bottom to the roof of the building also broke at the same time as the floor slabs were damaged. Not knowing if she would do anything about it, Haiwon used a minimal amount of telekinesis to trigger an air resonance to sweep all the water droplets to the periphery of his body.

However, looking at the water droplets that were shaken apart by the power of the mind, Kaihara moved his brows imperceptibly as if he had suddenly grasped something.

"What did you encounter...... Oh, yes...... What's going on? I'm fine, and I'm okay if Xingchuan doesn't have it...... Who are we ......?"

β€œοΌβ€

It's still like talking to yourself. However, this time, Haiyuan's eyes changed instantly. With a gaze that seemed to penetrate everything in front of him, he stared intently in the direction where his senior sister's voice came from.

Because, from the mouth of Ji Yanbi, he heard a name that he was very familiar with.

Hoshikawa didn't, it was the name of his sister Dono's classmate and roommate.

He never expected to hear the name from Salt Bi.

The most important thing is the hidden content in the words of Ji Yanbi. If it's not the same name, is it ......

A very bad premonition was rising from the bottom of his heart. And as soon as this premonition appeared, it began to be uncontrollable.

If there was anything he could never allow, it was undoubtedly one of them.

Slowly clenching his fists, a trace of an imperceptible smile appeared on Mitsuki Haihara's face. It was familiar to all who knew him, and his smile had the opposite meaning.

It's the perfect smirk that makes people shudder and can't find the slightest problem.

"Senior sister, I'll ask you again. It's been determined that there are no other residents in this building, right? ”

He asked the senior sister who didn't know where she was at this time.

"In any case, I will not fall to such a degree......"

The girl's voice sounded as if she had heard something sad.

"Really? That's good......" Kaihara took a deep breath. "Senior Sister Bi, although you have been living here, do you know? You probably don't know much about this building. ”

β€œβ€¦β€¦β€

Probably because he didn't understand what he was talking about, Yanbi didn't make a sound. Mitsuki Kaihara ignored these and continued to talk to himself.

"As a product of the period between the former and the present, the structure of this building is special. It is not only the housing load-bearing, but also the dual load-bearing mode that separates the inner and outer frames. In other words, the overall frame on the outside is separate from the load-bearing structure on the inside that runs from the ground floor to the roof. Although this structure is valid in building structural mechanics, it is rarely applied to reality, so many structural designers have been visiting this building. Even when the decision was made to demolish the building, many people thought it was a pity. ”

β€œβ€¦β€¦β€

Haihara's words are still a little confusing.

"Sister Bi, it is precisely because this building has attracted a lot of architectural structure designers, so it is natural that it will also attract many students who major in this aspect. In particular, it is a competence related to structural mechanics. For example, you and I are both familiar with it, and now I am the vice president of the student council, Tomoya Asai. Mitsuki Umihara raised his fist as he spoke. Sister Bi, let me tell you one more thing. The re-restoration of the mechanical structure of the building on the drawings was done independently by Asai with his ability. However, he entrusted the specific calculation work to others. Senpai, have you thought of anything? Yes, that person is me. So, what would I do? ”

Mitsuki Haihara's fist slammed directly into the 37th floor.

The ripples of the telekinetic power spread repeatedly across the entire 37 floors in an extremely wild manner, running. It's like countless echoes are stacked again and again, and finally become a terrifying, extremely violent horror echo.

The interior of the building shook violently, and every stage-type load-bearing structure on the 37th floor was unhindered to the frantic telekinetic ripples, and one by one it collapsed irretrievably in the astonishing and overwhelming tremors.

Even in Mitsuki Haihara's own memory, this is probably an example of an ability application that can be ranked. Although it still failed to reach the theoretical upper limit of 3,450 kilograms per square centimeter, it can be said that it has reached the limit of mental power in terms of local strength, the correction of the overall error, and the control and limitation of the scope of the spillage.

Under the release of this historical momentum, all the internal structures of the building, which occupies the size of a large square, collapsed completely in an instant. From the 2nd to the 37th floor, almost at the same time, it collapsed like a fortress made of sand.

Although the load-bearing design of the shell makes the building still intact, there is nothing left inside the intact building.

In terms of destructive power alone, it is indeed not very large, and Haiyuan has no intention of putting too much emphasis on the destructive effect. However, this effect of a meticulously scientifically calculated overall directional blasting also takes into account the separation of the internal and external load-bearing structures, and all the destructive power is controlled within the internal range. The way this ability is used has exceeded the limits of all known telekinetic abilities.

The only regret is that there was no recorder to record this scene, so the "Book Library", the largest database in the college city, unfortunately missed the opportunity to record the application of telekinesis to create the limit record.

The water pipes laid inside the exterior walls sprayed like a heavy rain in an unusually empty room. Haiyuan still resonates with the air with a minimum of mental power, ensuring that the water does not get the droplets to touch him. However, the position he is in now is quite surprising.

He is roughly at the height of the 36th floor. The problem was that the building's internal structure had completely collapsed, and the floor slabs had completely ceased to exist. It was as if he was standing in the air, suspended inside the hollow building.

It's not floating, it's not flying. The realm of gravity is his sister's exclusive self-reserved land, and there is nothing he can do about it. However, he did not have such unrealistic thoughts.

In fact, he was standing on several chains of debris made up of fragments of floor slabs that hung from the exterior walls. The telekinesis he has at his disposal allows him to "glue" the pieces piece by piece, and with the strength of his abilities, there is no difficulty in supporting his own weight.

Like him, hanging in the empty interior of the building, there was another person. Now that the building is completely empty, she can finally be seen.

Countless black filaments stretched out, firmly forming a support between the walls of the building and the girl's body. Hanging herself in a position about two floors higher than Kaihara, she was slightly condescending.

It's like where the two used to be in the student union......

Uploader's Note:

There are some things about the setting of this work, which I want to talk about here. Since the main premise is me, and the character setting is also done by me and the author, I feel like I can explain some of the things in this work.

I believe many people have seen that this work is a novel where the characters are greater than the plot. In this work, the characters occupy the largest proportion. Someone once asked me exactly how the main character was set up, because they felt that the main character seemed too perfect. But actually, the ingredients here are quite complex.

By this chapter, the two protagonists' ideas have been fully revealedβ€”they are based on the psychological personality theory of Animus Anima (Animus and Anima, the author seems to have a pun hidden here). The meaning of Animus is the male image in the female mind, which is generally interpreted as the male personality in the female mind. But here it is not the latter, but the most superficial meaning, that is, the male idol that exists in the minds of women. Anima, on the other hand, is a female image in the minds of men, i.e., female idols that exist in the minds of men.

This theory originated from Jung's theory of the collective unconscious, and was considered by Jung to be the imprint and archetype of human consciousness. The Animus and the Anima are the ideal forms of the opposite sex in the human group consciousness, and the Animus has all the characteristics that women think are good in men, and vice versa, Anima has all the good characteristics that men think are good in women. However, as stated in the text, the Animus does not conform to the ideals of men for men, and the Animas do not conform to the ideals of women for women, because they are both beings of the opposite sex. However, although it does not meet the requirements, both men identify with the Animus or women with the Animas, and the two imagery forms transcend gender in the concept of "acceptance".

I believe someone has already seen that in this work, the Kaihara brothers and sisters are Animus and Anima.

In fact, it is unlikely that the physical reality of the Animus and the Anima will appear. Because both of these are the forms in the minds of the opposite sex, it is generally impossible for people of this gender to fully embody the image in the minds of the opposite sex. And Dome Nai's special circumstances have broken this limitation, and her relationship with Haiyuan has also made Haiyuan break this limitation. This is the basis and basis of our character setting in the story.

It is likely that the historical Animus and Anima traits have not existed at all, because they are not perfect in some ways, but rather a problematic flaw. Personally, though, I think there are two people who are probably the closest to that. The closest to the Animus is the famous king of the piano, Franz Liszt. And the closest to Anima is the "spiritual muse" Lou Andreas Salome. But at the same time, they are also hierarchically different from the Animus and the Anima, which prevents them from eventually becoming the Animus and the Anima.

Having said all that, what exactly is this work intended to be written? Actually, I can't say clearly, and I'm afraid the author can't say it either. Because the work itself was not born out of our detailed design concept, it is closer to a purely imaginary product. Specifically, I personally think that the enigmatic poem "Heavy Moments" by the Austrian poet Rilke, who had a complex with Lou Andreas Salome, probably the closest woman to the Anima, should be the answer: no matter where you are, where you are, and what moment you are. There are people who cry for you, laugh for you, come for you, and die for you. Crying you, laughing at you, walking towards you, looking at you. No more descriptions are needed, and no more reasons are needed.

I think that's all the author wants to say, that's all I conceive.
