Chapter 16: King Imiron II

"For Lordaeron!"

In the fiery red light, Ares roared angrily.

The Ember Bringer glowed red like the sun on earth, and King Imiron's eyes flashed with horror, but as the king of the Viku people, he had never been defeated and the Lich King had promised him eternal life. Yes, eternal life, he is undefeated! In the direction of the paladin's charge, King Imiron swung his war hammer and faced him. Both fighters erupted into the toughest battle cries.

It's like two male lions roaring at each other and rushing and fighting together.

However, an unexpected scene occurred, King Imiron used all his strength to strike, and the heavy warhammer whizzed through the air, only to be quickly melted the moment it hit the Ember Bringer. The crowd watched as the fiery greatsword slashed down at an alarming speed, splitting King Emiron's weapon in two and his armor in two.

With the help of Khadgar's magic, Ares spun his blade, and after splitting the Vekku King's hammer, the Ashbringer danced a gorgeous golden arc through the air and slashed at King Imiron.

When the two staggered, King Imiron's thigh was cut open. Judgment of the Light, the fire of holiness burning the rotten body of the King of the Viku.

The rotting flesh of the wound was burning.

But as a fighter, once he enters the battle, he has only the opponent in his eyes, and only killing the opponent is his only goal. The flow of blood only stimulates his bloodthirsty and brutal nature. King Imiron roared, ignoring the wound on his thigh, and limped towards Ares again.

Sylvanas' arrow struck him in the arm, but the king did not react, swinging a massive hammer and slamming it at Ares.

But King Imiron, who had limited mobility, did not have the chance to hit the paladin again. In the bright light, Ares nimbly dodged sideways, and the Warhammer of the King of the Viku people crashed to the ground, and a huge pit was smashed into the floor, and the cracks spread out in a net, but Ares was not hurt in the slightest.

Taking advantage of the gap between his opponent's hammer landing, Ares jumped violently, and this time, the Ember Bringer plunged into King Imiron's waist from another angle. Two crusader blows, slicing flesh and burning the rotting body of the King of the Vikus. But he was still not defeated, and the king of the Viku people never spoke lightly of defeat.

Dark red blood flowed in his eyes, and with a deafening roar, King Imironn angrily raised his war hammer and slammed it forward. With this blow, the ground cracked in a fan-shape, and countless rubble rolled forward, however, he still did not hit the paladin.

With the blessed power of the Light, Ares rolled forward moments before the Warhammer landed, and when the Warhammer hit the ground, Ares also appeared behind King Imiron, "In the name of the Light!" He yelled.

The Ember Bringer unleashed blazing flames, and the holy sword stabbed King Imiron from behind.

Thick blood spurted out of the fallen king's body like a fountain, and soon, holy flames swept through the Viku king's body. In less than a moment, the newly invincible King of the Viku had turned into a raging flame. The flames spread throughout his body.

"Now, do you still want to fight?"

After slaying King Imiron, Ares stood on the pile of ashes and skeletons covered in blood, and yelled at the remaining Viku wizards.

The holy light flowed through him, and a holy light always enveloped him. The Veku people in front of them were stunned.

Until the first Viku warrior half-knelt down, "Child of Light." The Viku people humbly saluted.

Soon, the second, third, and fourth Viku dropped their weapons and half-knelt in front of Ares.

A resurrected undead Viku roared and rushed forward, only to be flung by Ares, and the Ember Bringer cut the resurrected Viku warrior in two in mid-air, the blood of darkness splattered in the air, and the body of the undead burst into flames, which soon turned into a pile of ashes with residual warmth on the ground.

The Viku people at the scene were shocked or shocked. The Lich King promised them the power of eternal life, however, their so-called power was useless in the face of this tiny human. Is eternal life really achievable? Or is it just a lie? Even the mighty King Imiron was defeated by this tiny human being......

More Veku were psychologically shaken. Most of the Viku warriors who are still fighting are resurrected from the dead, and seeing their bloodthirsty and irrational appearance, the Viku feel their own sin, and the exchange of death for power and eternal life is nothing but a seductive lie of the Lich King.

Some Blood Wizards still try to resist, but without the protection of the warriors, the soldiers of the Alliance and the Blood Elf Ranger have taken control of them.

"If you dare to say another incantation, I'll slit your throat."

Sylvanas stepped on the head of an emaciated Viku wizard, the sharp dagger in his hand against the other's throat. The blood wizard was blackmailed and couldn't move. It can only be gagged with rags by Union soldiers. Become a prisoner of the Lordaeron coalition.

When it came out of the top of Utgard, the siege continued, but the large-scale siege with heavy weapons turned into small-scale street fighting in various places. The news of the king's death made the Viku people unwilling to fight, and the only ones who were still resisting were the undead Viku, who were controlled by the lich.

Eyes devastated and smoky, corpses strewn everywhere, this is what Ares saw.

After a whole day of fighting, dawn turned into sunset, and sunset turned into night.

When the wind blew on the top of Utgard Castle that night, Ares and Sylvanas sat on the tower of the castle where King Imiron of the Viku people once sit, and they were filled with emotion.

The once-glorious empire has fallen, the Viku people are scattered, and the once pride is in ruins, a pile of ashes. In order to preserve the history and culture of Azeroth, Ares ordered his soldiers not to destroy the castle's interior. Includes all the props used in the ritual of the Viku people. These are valuable historical materials that provide insight into the history of Azeroth and the culture of the Viku people throughout it.

The dwarves of Ironforge were full of praise for Ares's approach. They are natural archaeologists, diggers. He is interested in all the secrets buried deep underground. Ares ordered the gold and silver reserves in the castle to be removed, leaving the rest to the dwarves. Although he lost some of his benefits, he led a group of dwarven explorers to join Lordaeron's legions.

Ares knew that in a few months, a large number of dwarven adventurers would join his army. And the expeditionary force does not even need to equip them with a single gun.
