The Legend of Chu Qiu Chapter 4: Opening the altar to give a lecture
The three days passed in a blink of an eye, and Huide also recuperated in the room for three full days. The boss pours tea and water every day and waits outside the door. Huide was very clear about his little thoughts, it was nothing more than that if he escaped, this boss would not be able to get along in this small city.
Three days have arrived, and the monk Huide has long known that the people outside have crowded this small city, and the anxious people have also erected a high platform dozens of meters high in the city in just three days. Monk Huide, who occasionally observes the situation with his heavenly eye, knows that this is because the people in the official yamen in the small city can't see it, and they have dug a trap for themselves.
Following the boss who was smiling with red light in front of him, Monk Huide suddenly felt that his heart had always been plain and natural, and he hurriedly recited the heart method of a great monk in his heart. This method emphasizes the mind of the children of Buddhism, and they should learn the virtues of the earth to achieve Buddhism, and let him be stormy, and I will not move to achieve the supreme method of completing the soul.
The only way to do this is to wait for the demons to grow to a certain extent, and then to eliminate them when they can be concretized. Huide sighed secretly, Fang had just come out, and he had already bred demons in his heart. Now he really admires those predecessors who used to roll in the red dust, and if they are not those with great wisdom and ability, they are far beyond their reach.
Walking out of the inn slowly, a large crowd had already gathered at the door, and when he saw Huide coming out, he automatically gave way to a road that was enough for one person to pass. The boss squeezed into the center of the crowd, huddled with others and watched the monk walk along the crowd.
Walking slowly along the passage let out by the crowd, he observed the passing crowd with his heavenly eyes, looking at the karma on their bodies and their different faces. In general, the resulting karmic retribution wraps around the person's body, forming a black or red halo. Buddhists eat vegetarian fasting because they don't want to be tainted with the karma of killing. My Buddha believes that all things have spirits, and killing will also be tainted with cause and effect, and karma will block the way to enter the Pure Land.
There are three kinds of karma in Buddhism: unjust creditors, karma, doomed catastrophe and birth, old age, sickness and suffering. Only karma can be removed by doing good deeds, and the rest will come to you in some form in the next life. But this rolling red dust, as soon as you enter, it involves countless causes and effects, how can anyone be clean?
Monk Huide never asked the name of Xiao Er and the boss, and once he did, the fate of them and Monk Huide was tainted with a little cause and effect, and they were not sure that it would have any impact in the future. The most widely accepted thing to eliminate karma is to live long enough, and only when you live long enough will you survive until the cause and effect fade and finally disappear.
Passing crowds often have a layer of black karma wrapped around their bodies, and red ones are rare, even if the red periphery of the children is covered with a layer of black. When it is the most innocent and naΓ―ve, there is no distinction between good and evil, even if the nature is good, but when you are more than a child, you take pleasure in killing small animals, how can you not be evil?
In ancient times, there was an allusion that there was a small monk who was calculated by the master to be a short-lived person, but he lived a long life because of the rain and an ant in the rain. There is another reason, that the Buddha cut meat and fed it to the hungry eagle. There is also a reason that the enlightened monk is unmoved by a mosquito bite, just because he cannot kill. Buddhism has a law that says that when walking, you need to look at your feet and walk with your head down, but you don't intend to kill it, and it can't be counted as a fruit industry, which is the doomed doom of ants.
Huide disagrees, this line thinks it is too pedantic, so he does not quit drinking and meat, only quitting killing, walking in the red dust, accumulating virtue and doing good, and using great goodness to offset the fault of killing, so non-ninth generations of good people are not allowed to enter this door. Therefore, when the monk Huide entered this door, he was still a great benevolent man who had already been the eleventh generation, and he was also the most outstanding person in the history of this lineage, and he only produced a genius in hundreds of years.
Unconsciously, following the crowd, Huide came to the high platform that he had seen a long time ago, and there were already people waiting here at this moment. This platform has no steps, all made of solid wood, with incense candles and faint sandalwood. The high platform is getting smaller and smaller, and it is only enough to sit a child cross-legged at the top, which is clearly malicious.
A small guy stood at the bottom of the stage and said with a smile to Huide, who came over, "Master, please come up to the high platform to give a lecture." After saying that, he stepped back and watched the excitement. Huide smiled slightly, and there was an inexplicable trace of anger in his heart, which passed in an instant, and his annoyed face frowned.
Although it was only for a moment, the boss who followed closely next to him observed his words and said: "Master, or we won't go up, this person is uneasy and kind at first glance, and he deliberately makes you ugly, such a small platform, who can sit on it!"
"Donor, it's okay, everyone is kind to build, how can I sweep everyone's happiness. Huide clearly saw a trace of excitement and guilt in the depths of the boss's eyes. It seems that he was bought, and in this agitated himself.
The body is vertical, the feet seem to be glued to the wood, and the whole person is strangely parallel to the ground, like a big bird flying upward. The wood grew thinner and thinner as he went, but his feet continued to fly upwards as if they had no strength. Stepping on the narrow platform with one foot, the whole person once again weirdly stuck one foot on the platform, and the body turned over strangely, standing on the platform with one foot.
Only when you stand on that platform will you realize how small the platform is, and there is not much space for Monk Huide's big feet to step on. Not caring how dangerous it was, the smile came to his face again, and he sat down very neatly, though most of his body was dangling outside.
The crowd below was boiling, like the kind of applause that had succeeded in performing acrobatics, a "good". Huide was helpless, opened his mouth slightly, and a monk's "quiet" came from everyone's ears below. The sound was so close that everyone was silenced at once, and after a moment of silence, people began to talk again.
"Did you hear me? There's a voice in my ear. β
"I heard that, too!"
"Did you hear that?"
It was all such words, and as a last resort, Huide spoke again: "Donors, please be quiet for a moment. β
At this time, everyone at the bottom understood, and they all looked at the Huide monk in the air with eyes like looking at ghosts and gods, and the scene suddenly quieted down. Suddenly, a man knelt down and said, "The Living Buddha is here." β
The black pressure of the people all knelt down, shouting the living Buddha and the like three times before slowly subsiding.
"This time I want to talk about the "Dafang Guang Buddha Huayan Sutra", also known as the "Miscellaneous Sutra", this sutra is the second seven days after the enlightenment of the Buddha, under the Bodhi tree for Manjushri, Puxian and other superior Bodhisattvas to preach the self-proof method, this Huayan Sutra is the fundamental Dharma wheel in the teachings, so it is called the 'Sex Teaching'. And because this religion belongs to the Dun religion, it is also called the first Dun Huayan. The content describes the Buddha's causes, actions, and deeds, revealing endless and unhindered intentions. β
"I see that people are more or less contaminated with cause and effect, and I am speaking this sutra to teach you how to avoid cause and effect, and to reduce your own cause and effect.
"There are three holy beings in this sutra. One is called Virujana Buddha. Virujana, which means to shine, is the meaning of light shining all over the world, which means that the Buddha's troubles are pure, all virtues are complete, the body and soil are commensurate, everywhere, can be relied on by the hue, have boundless real merits, and are the equal reality of all dharmas; The Buddha Virujana is located in the thirteenth level of the "Blazing Treasure Bright World Species that Shines in the Ten Directions".
"The two saints are called the Bodhisattva of Puxian, with their dwelling at the top of the road, and their body is all over the world, so they are called Pu; after breaking the path, they are adjacent to the extreme saints, so they are called virtuous. This Bodhisattva is one of the four great Bodhisattvas of Mahayana Buddhism, symbolizing virtue and virtue, corresponding to Manjushri Bodhisattva, which symbolizes wisdom and virtue, and is also the left and right attendants of Shakyamuni Buddha. He guides the line with wisdom, proves wisdom with practice, and advances in interpretation and action, and completes the wish of the Buddha seeker, so he is also called "the Bodhisattva of Daxing Puxian".
"The third saint is Manjushri. Manjushri means wonderful virtue, and it is called wonderful virtue because of its clear view of Buddha nature, full of the three virtues of Dharmakaya, Prajna, and liberation, which is inconceivable. In Mahayana Buddhism, Manjushri is the head of all the Bodhisattvas, often with the Buddha around the Buddha, all the Buddha's disciples, all regard Manjushri as the embodiment of wisdom, such as saying that Prajna is the mother of all Buddhas, Manjushri is the teacher of the seven Buddhas. β
Monk Huide always said unhurriedly, the warm voice came into everyone's ears, everyone was fascinated by the listening, sitting cross-legged on the ground, listening to the monk Huide on the high platform explain this scripture. Even if you don't believe in Buddhism, you still have to listen to what he says during the monk's lectures, and you don't want to miss a word.
