Volume 13 Black Sun Prequel Immortal Heart

Please note that the following is a [history] of the worlds in the book, and do not compare them strictly to the history of our existing worlds.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Outsiders, they call us so, and some of us think so--- that we are not of this world; But just as there are two sides to a coin, some of us think they are outsiders to us. It is difficult to discern which side is right, and why?

The reason is that history is a very interesting thing, and sometimes history is one thing, and legend becomes another, and these two occupy two halves of people's concept of "past". But we, stand somewhere in between.

The dim sunlight shines through the glass windows into a study room at Queen's University Belfast's School of Art, scattered unevenly on one of the university's oldest collections, a finger dangling over the old paper, following the reader's gaze on a journey between history and legend.

“。。。。。。。 Ref. 17, well, Eomir. Feng. Utman, 1968, City Press, New York, 2nd ed. . . "The other hand tapped on the keyboard, "and then, The-Immortals, well... ”

Some people say that the world was originally theirs, that the world was created for them, or that they created it, and that the world is their playground, and these people call it the "Age of Legends" or "Age of Myths", and some people call it the "First Age".

The world was created by them, or for them, and they are in it to their fullest ...

"Damn, I can't see this piece clearly...

They all have the power of God as far as people now, they know how the world works, they change the world, they command the world. Flames, ice, thunder and lightning, these are just some of the low-level tricks they can use to make a mountain disappear into invisibility, and they can fly out of the planet to reach the Place of Creation that only they can reach. And then, they get tired, perhaps they feel conflicted--- why there is still only the creator and the creature in the world that has been created, and nothing else ... Individual.

Then, we, the people who now call ourselves Humans, were created.

We were once immortal, as immortal as they were, constantly reincarnated, and that was the only thing we had in common with them. We can't move mountains and seas in a single thought, we can only stand on the earth, we can't reach the place of creation where they often go, but we were just as immortal. We will resist death, and the shocks that would cause us to die will be counteracted by the forces that prevent them from dying, and we will live forever.

Until two people break the contract, what contract? A contract that we didn't even know existed when we signed it.

One of them, and one of us, broke the covenant, and the one of them was named Adam and the one of us was named Eve, and the name of the covenant they broke was Choice.

Yes, until then, we will not make a choice, what we believe is what is shown to us, what we do is told, and what we see is what they create. And the exchange of this is immortality, we don't have the concept of acting for the survival of the body, we don't have to worry about it, we don't have it because we don't have to worry about it.

But perhaps it is precisely because of this, because we are free from the bondage of the body, that our souls come into contact with a concept [to reach a state that we are not yet able to know], and we realize that there is a concept called "choice", which does not refer to the choice of what to eat, nor the choice of what to choose, but the realization that "Eden" is not everything.

And some of them also recognize that we recognize the existence of Choice, so they choose to approach us instead of commanding us to pass, so they choose to understand us rather than command us, so they choose to live with us instead of watching us live.

Our union with the first of them, called Adam and Eve, will later be recorded as a history of exile, and the wisdom of choice will be inherited by a man named Plato, written as The Parable of the Cave.

But why did their history become our legends, why couldn't Adam and Eve tell us their stories themselves, why did a philosopher named Plato spread the crystallization of the past?

Because the world is divided, our world is divided, and the world that they are already divided is further divided.

Our world is divided, and because of the relationship between Adam and Eve, we are given choice and lose immortality. Since then, we have been bound by the flesh, and we have to divide ourselves and our world. Because it is necessary to maintain the survival of the flesh, to maintain the survival of the race, some people concentrate on collecting or making the necessities of survival, some people are responsible for entertaining the race in a difficult life, some people lead the race forward, while others continue to think--- because they know that we have gains and losses because of thinking, so we must continue to think in order to keep the race moving forward in the eternal contradiction that follows, and this eternal contradiction is "choice represents gain, but also means to pay".

Our world is divided, and ideological differences do not necessarily make you want to destroy each other's bodies, but physical differences are likely to make you want to destroy each other's minds together. So we, who had to rely on the resources of survival to sustain our bodies and minds, were divided, and we began to fight.

Their already divided world has been further divided, some becoming fearful to us, while others are fighting their own kind in order to dispel our fears. Immortal they began wars, their eternal strife began, and you can see these wars in many mythological texts.

And their further division has strengthened our conviction of the necessity of strife, and as we watch them, our gods, fight, we determine the necessity, the correctness of strife... Then we learn, we emulate, completely forgetting that we still have choices.

As the strife intensifies, more and more information begins to be forgotten, because no one cares about how to destroy the crystallization of the other party's thoughts, only the destruction of the other party's existence. When the strife intensifies, some of them will rain floods, while others will become us to help us build the ark; Some of them will build hell, while others will guard heaven; Some try to condemn all of us in their area to the eighteenth layer of hell, while others do everything possible to help us open the back door or make us forget our painful memories.

Then suddenly, they disappear, from one side of history to the fog of legend, and we are left in confusion, moving forward without knowing where to go. But even if they are gone, their legacy still affects us, and we act either in their name or subconsciously. We attack the "infidels" because they have been watching us before, they are already fighting each other; We execute free-thinking women and call them witches, because although we don't remember exactly what happened, some of us subconsciously act because of ancient memories--- and because of Eve we became like this, and some of our ancestors didn't like it. We have been trying to put Eve to death until today.

And then they reappeared, in a different way, at a different time, in a different place.

They become hidden, illusory, and don't seem to want to be in our sight, but they still give us fear or hope. An emperor seemed to understand this, so he built a huge wall behind the first line of defense and sent people out to find their traces. Because he knew that they were immortal, that they would not die from being shot with a crossbow, that they would not die because of lack of food, but that his troops would continue to be attritional, so he built the Great Wall--- a helpless monument. But he also knows that his enemies also have enemies, and the best way is to use immortality against immortality, or make himself immortal. One king seemed to understand this, so he obtained the Holy Sword and eventually disappeared into the mists of Avalon, knowing that only immortality could fight against immortality, or make himself immortal.

Those who lead our race forward do so, while those responsible for making the necessities of survival are constantly trying to discover or make things eternal, from immortal elixirs to modern medicines, from perpetual motion machines to solar energy; People of the entertainment race are in the same realm, they sing the praises of immortality or curse immortality, and you will find this eternal strife in our literary and artistic works; And our reflections are no exception, from the monks who traveled all the way west trying to retrieve the texts that record "liberation from physical pain", to chanting the superman that Zarathuster said...

Did they try to return? The answer is not clear, but what is clear is that at some point in history, after science finally seemed to overwhelm religion, they seemed to disappear and become even more confusing. Why do they do this after science seems to have the upper hand, is it because science will gradually erase the memory of immortality that is deeply imprinted in our souls, because science will make us realize that immortality is nothing but an illusion?

Or is it because science makes us more persistent, or greedy, and thus closer to immortality, because immortality is originally due to the greed for life?

Perhaps the same is true of those who try to approach Immortality intellectually, and have not shaken off their imprint?

Maybe they never left, maybe it wasn't Leonardo. Leonardo da Vinci and the ancestor of Taoism never left.

Because, they are immortal.

Whether you choose to believe or not, please note that it is important that you choose, for that is why you care about the past ...

If you are immortal, how can you care about the fog that covers the past, and how can you care about choice, because immortality is history itself, because immortality represents endless opportunities for choice.

“。。。。。。 "The Immortal" Prologue [Immortal Heart] End... Is it? ”

Sirens suddenly sounded on campus.

"What's wrong?!"

"Edward, go! Is it an attack alarm!! I've heard that there is an accident near this nuclear potential, let's evacuate as soon as possible! ”

The young man reading the book ran out in a panic, and the book was like melting snow in the sun... Gone.

In the existing human world, in the main control room Master-Hive-01, a stereoscopic image of a woman dressed in white is surrounded in the center.

"Sey, has it been deleted?"

"Yes, the relevant information cluster has been deleted."

"How could this happen again...

"System program fragments," replied the woman in white without waves, "the program fragments in the past two system uninstallation recovery processes, which have been trying to remove." ”

"I know, I'm just emotional... Don't worry about Sey... Nangong Suga frowned.

"Got it, don't care."

And in the light of the books in the world of light and electricity, in the shadows of the bookshelves, Ping stretched out a hand, and the books that disappeared like melting snow gradually reappeared in that hand.

"History and legends..." A man dressed in a gray cloth jacket like a campus cleaner looked at the windblown pages of the book that no longer moved.

"For us, it's just a memory." The woman with long gray-white hair, a blue dress, and a faculty nameplate leaned on the man's back and said softly.

"Indeed, although this memory is a bit confusing," the man shook his head as he looked at the book that had been cut off from the world, "and won't it be discovered?" ”

"No, it takes up very little program space, just... It's like hiding a small text document in an entire hard drive. ”

"Is it another metaphor taken from my memory?"
