Chapter 349: Gallon Farm

Gallon Farm is located northeast of the town of Andorhar, on the shores of the endless Daron Mill Lake. Oriental Reading Network, you can even see the Keldaron Island in the middle of the lake at a glance.

The farm is surrounded by many pine trees, which can be traced back to the beginning of human arrivals in this area, but as time flies, these ancient lives have not escaped the pollution of natural disasters and plagues, and all of them have died. This made Masrae grit his teeth with hatred.

Walking through the pine forest, Diego and his party approached the farm from the north in a large circle. There are a number of rolling hills near the lake, and the entire farm can be seen from the top of the hill.

The farm is very typical of the northern layout of Lordaeron, with a two-storey farmhouse, two barns and a stable on the edge of the vast farmland. The two barns had been destroyed, but the farmhouse and stables had been preserved, although they looked a little dilapidated on the outside.

From a distance, there seemed to be nothing unusual in the farm, and there were waddling scourge soldiers everywhere, of course, these creepy and terrifying scenes were not normal for an ordinary farm, but for the current Western Plague Land, they were simply commonplace.

In the middle of the farmland, there was also a plague cauldron, and the yellow-brown plague smoke shot straight into the sky like a giant pillar, making the dim canopy that enveloped the entire western plague land even thicker. Strangely, there was no one around the cauldron to protect them, only some natural disaster soldiers threw some broken corpses into the cauldron from time to time.

"Why is no one guarding it?" The dwarf asked, puzzled.

"It's not that there isn't a ghost next to that pot!" Diego whispered, a faint light energy shining in his eyes. This is a modified version of the Hunter's Eagle Eye, and when Diego activates it with the power of the Light, it is often possible to spot hard-to-find targets from a great distance, such as ghosts, such as stealth creatures.

"That's true." The Minotaur Shaman also nodded, relying on the elemental vision, he also saw the ghost.

It was a lilac, translucent undead. His whole body looks like nothingness, and you wouldn't even be able to make out his silhouette if it weren't for the translucent shroud that wraps around his body. The only faintly visible parts of his body were the hands that had been deformed into large claws, and the fingertips were sharp like daggers.

"Hopefully my Ice Spike Spear can kill it." The orc looked at the air around the cauldron blankly, and said uncertainly.

"You just have to destroy that cauldron, and I'll hand over that ghost." Diego said confidently. This made Bloodspear secretly breathe a sigh of relief. Orcs have always been fearless, with the exception of ghosts and the like.

"This is the last plague cauldron, destroy it, I can build an elemental altar, purify the western plague land, and relieve the suffering of the elements." The Minotaur Shaman said eagerly. There aren't many scourge undead on the farm, and killing them is a breeze for adventurers.

They briefly discussed it and set to action.

Out of an abundance of caution, Diego was left on the hillside as fire support. Orcs and dwarves rushed to the front as vanguards, while the minotaur shaman followed behind, while Guan Haifa and the druids who had transformed into cheetahs quietly approached, ready to deal with any change that could happen at any time.

"Try to fight in the open and don't go into the building, because then I won't be able to support you." As he parted, Diego admonished uneasily. Although this farm looked like no other, Diego always felt that something was not right, as if someone was watching them.

He lay on his stomach in the bushes at the edge of the hill and watched his companions slowly touch the farm. However, as they got closer to the farm, Diego's unease grew. He let out his senses as far away as he could, but the hills were too far away from the farm for him to detect anything.

"Well, that's all there is to it." He sighed, activated the Eagle Eye Circle, which was constantly in Znik's precision scope, to its strongest, and then observed it little by little through the scope. It's a stupid way to do this, the scope of observation is small, but the observation is relatively more detailed.

Time passed little by little, but he didn't find anything unusual, at this time, the blood spear at the forefront was no more than fifty yards away from the plague cauldron, he held the spear in both hands, and bowed slightly like a cheetah, and if he got closer, he was about to charge.

"Something must be wrong!" Diego's heart was even more anxious, he had always trusted his almost beastly instincts, this was the survival of a good hunter, and if his instincts said there was a problem, then there must be a problem.

"Where, where?"

He muttered to himself as he gently moved the musket until something unusual appeared in the scope.

It was a pale yellow ground, like other yellowish ground that had been yellowish brown after long weather, and it was so fresh that it looked like some piece of soil had just been excavated. Located on the side of the barn, the ground is more than two meters long and more than one meter wide in shape, and if a tombstone is inserted at the top, it is almost the same as a cemetery. But Diego doesn't think that these scourges dig a grave to bury the dead, on the contrary, they prefer to dig up the grave and wake the dead from their long sleep.

Diego lifted the musket, and then saw more ground like this a little further away, some slightly smaller, others larger.

Diego let out a long sigh, it was clear that this was a trap, and the Scourge was already prepared!

"Guan Haifa, tell everyone, retreat immediately!" He commanded without hesitation through a soul connection with his animal companions.

The next moment, under the surprised gaze of the blood spear, the figure of the big cat suddenly lifted its stealth state and appeared in front of his eyes. She glanced at him, then shook her head behind him, a low purr coming out of her throat.

"Wow, isn't this Diego's big cat? What's wrong with it? The orc couldn't help but ask in surprise. But the minotaurs and dwarves were equally dazed.

The druid, who was sneaking not far away, understood the meaning of the cheetah almost immediately, and after more than two years of getting along, he already knew the meaning of the big cat's every move.

"Damn, Diego must have found something, we need to retreat!" He immediately emerged from his invisibility and explained to his companions.

"Hell!" The others cursed in unison, reluctant but still choosing to believe Diego's eyes.

They crept back the way they came, but they hadn't taken a few steps before the ground jerked up in the distance with a sharp howl.
