At that time, the Bodhisattva, with the power of compassion, subdued the demons on the night of the seventh day of the second month, magnified the light, even if he meditated on the true meaning of meditation, meditated at ease in the Dharma, and knew the good and evil created in the past, and from then on, his parents and dependents, the rich and poor, the length of his life, and the names and surnames of all sentient beings, all knew that he had great compassion for all sentient beings. ...... At that time, the Bodhisattva, in the middle of the night, will have the eyes of heaven, observe the world, and see everything thoroughly, just like seeing his own face in a mirror, seeing all sentient beings, of countless kinds, dying in this life and in the other, following good and evil, suffering and retribution. “
This is a passage from the Buddhist scripture "The Sutra of Cause and Effect of the Past and Present", which tells about the generation of supernatural powers in Buddhism.
Buddhism is divided into six kinds of supernatural powers, which are the heavenly eye, the heavenly ear, the other heart, fate, wishfulness, and leakage. In the Buddhist scriptures, the Heavenly Eye is the ability to freely see the shapes and colors of all things in the world, as well as the various phenomena of the suffering and happiness of sentient beings in the six realms. Although the monk Huide has not been able to reach that point, he has reached the small level of Tianyantong, and his eyes can shine dozens of miles away as if in front of him, and he can know his actual karma at a glance, and he is already a living bodhisattva in the mortal world.
Huide had been gone for two days and two nights, and had already left the small ruined temple far away. At this moment, he was walking in a deep valley, but even if his feet were littered with dead branches and leaves, and the mud was everywhere, he was still barefoot, and the white soles of his feet were not stained with a trace of dirt, but at this moment his bronze and sturdy body was draped with a dark red robe.
Suddenly, several thieves dressed in animal skins jumped out of the chaotic branches in front of them, and one of them stepped forward and shouted: "I opened this road, I planted this road, and I want to cross it from now on,...... What's next?" The thief who shouted forgot the words and turned his head to look at the little brother next to him.
Suddenly, Monk Huide smiled and said, "It's to leave the money to buy the road, donor." The leading thief was about to open his mouth to scold, but at a glance he saw the red robe on Huide's body and the ring scar on the top of his head, and stammered and asked respectfully, "Where does the master come from, and where is he going?"
"Don't dare to be, don't dare to be, poor monks come from the west, go to the east, and spread the glory of my Buddha. “
"I don't know if we have the blessing to follow the master around, serve tea and water, and serve the left and right?" said several thieves who fell to the ground and shouted, "I beg the master to take me in." “
In this world, the people are very respectful to the monks, because they often pray for the blessings of the people, and also make porridge sheds to help the people in times of distress. The laws of each country also stipulate that all monks who are attached to them can be exempted from paying taxes, so the great temple has more land and let the dependents work in it, and the supply of the temple depends on them.
"The poor monk is just passing by here, and the donors have a fate, but the journey is difficult, but it is inconvenient to bring the donors, so, to the donors to read a "great compassion mantra", the little monk wishes the donors to put down the butcher's knife, turn back to the shore, the coming year everything goes well. “
Monk Huide lifted his robe, sat down cross-legged, closed his eyes, and his lips uttered strange syllables: "Nan Wu Drink Hello Na Doro Ye, Nan Wu Ah Yaye ......". At the beginning, Guanyin Bodhisattva said that this mantra has been completed, the earth has changed six times, the sky has rained and the precious flowers, and all the Buddhas of the ten directions are happy, the heavenly demons are outside, the terrifying hair is erected, and all the congregations have obtained the fruit certificate, or the Sudra Fruit, or the Situ Fruit, or the Anahan Fruit, or the Arhat Fruit, or the one place, two places, three, four, five places, or even ten places, and countless sentient beings have developed bodhicitta mind.
Huide will never be able to do this, but this sutra from his mouth is also a lotus flower with a tongue, and the Buddha's voice is mighty. Buddhist scriptures are sung according to a certain rhythm, so it is also very demanding for the monks' singing skills, and it is very difficult to sing the tongue-twisting scriptures when reciting the tongue-twisting scriptures, and I also suffered a lot when I practiced it myself.
As soon as it was over, Huide stood up, dusted off the dust on his robe, walked past a few people who were crying bitterly, and continued to walk into the distance.
A month later, with his bare feet, Huide monk finally came to the first small county town on his way, and came here to show that he had finally come to a densely populated place, even if it was sleeping in the open air on the way, and the heavy rain was pouring, Huide never stopped, to the point where he was sick.
No matter how difficult it was, Huide was smiling when he entered the city gate, and the wet robe was not yet dry on his body, but it did not affect his mood in the slightest.
After entering the city, the monk Huide came to the inn, as soon as he walked into the inn lobby, Xiao Er came up attentively and asked, "The master is here to do it?" "The poor monk came to ask for a bowl of fasting and comfort, and another place to settle down." Huide said unhurriedly.
The innkeeper walked out from behind the cabinet and asked, "I don't know the master's name?" When the boss heard this, he was frightened, and he fell directly to the ground and said loudly: "I don't know that the master is coming, I don't know if there is anything offended, please forgive me." "Don't dare to be, don't dare to be, the family and teachers are older, and if it is not my virtue, I can enter this generation." “
Buddhism has been flourishing for hundreds of years, but after the Buddha and his descendants ascended to the Western Elysium, they got the Bodhisattva Arhat position, and the monks who stayed in the world were the most fortunate generations, but only a few people have survived until now, and they still sit in the Great Leiyin Temple where the dragon does not see the tail. In this world, no one dares to pretend to be a monk, which is a great disrespect to the Buddha, so the person in front of him must be a real Buddhist wisdom.
Buddhism has been passed down to the present day, and the seven cross poems are used to rank the generations, and the order is based on the name of the law:
Fu Hui Zhizi Jue, the original circle can be understood. Zhou Hongpu Guangzong, Daoqing and Xuanzu. Pure and true as the sea, pure and pure. Virtue lasts forever, and the magic is always strong. The heart is deep and deep, and the sex is clear and worshipful. Sincere and good Xi Zen, cautious and benevolent. Xue Ting is the mentor and leads you back to Xuan Road.
Now the lowest rank has been ranked to the Taoist generation, which also means that the monks walking in this world basically have to call Uncle respectfully when they see him. And his contemporaries are basically the old antiques of the major temples, even if the hosts of the big temples are generally the word generation, they are all sixty years old and above.
Buddhism ranks not according to age, but according to entry, so it is also common for young monks in their fifties and sixties to call their teens and twenties. There will also be such a huge difference in seniority in the same temple. Although Huide's current cultivation is not as advanced as that of the old people, his level of teaching has already reached that level.
The innkeeper pleaded in fear, "I beg the Guru to bless me." "Then recite a Medicine Buddha Mantra with you." “
The monk sat on the ground, touched the top of his head with his hand, and chanted: "Gya Ta Hum Bei Kan Ze Maha Bei Kan Ze Lama Sang Samu Chatter.
After chanting twice in succession, Huide helped the boss to stand up and explained: "I have three Buddhas, Amitabha Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha and Medicine Buddha, Medicine Buddha is the head of the Oriental Pure Glass World, in the name of the glass, pure and unstained, and reciting the name and mantra of Medicine Buddha, you can be blessed by the Medicine Buddha Buddha, bless you, your family, and friends with good health, stay away from all diseases, and you can pray for the elimination of disasters and longevity." Bow to Nam no Medicine Buddha, prostrate Nam no Amitabha, prostrate Nam no Shakyamuni Buddha. “

Xiao Er squirmed and didn't want to leave, and suddenly knelt in front of Huide, crying and said: "I beg the master to bless my mother, my mother is sick, and the doctor said that it can't be cured." Xiao Er hurriedly stood up, wiped his tears with his sleeve, and led Huide downstairs to his house.
The county seat is not big, but there are still many twists and turns, and I followed Xiao Er to a small courtyard gate that was about to leave the city. The people who were good things also heard about the inn, and they came to see the excitement, and many people gathered.
