Chapter 21: Conflict
"Me?"
Tezzolo was stunned.
"Hahahaha
Then there was laughter, and Tezzolo couldn't stand up with a smile, clutching his stomach and looking in pain.
"Me? Hahaha! β
"Vlad, you're so interesting!"
Tezzolo burst into tears of laughter, apparently amused by Vlad's hard laugh.
"Come, tell me," Tezzolo finally stopped laughing, and said softly, "Vlad, come and tell me, why do you think I'll still work with you?" β
"Why do you think I'm going to work with a lost dog who has nothing? Vlad, come on, come on, please tell me, wise! Why do you think I'm going to work with you? β
"You seem to have looked down on me from the beginning?" Vlad is not angry, it is not a big deal.
"No, no, no," Tezzolo waved his hand in denial, "not at first, but after you broke away from Big-Mom, when you were a member of the Charlotte family, I still valued you very much, after all, at that time, the cooperation with you brought me a lot of benefits. β
"But what qualifications do you have for me to value now?" Tezzolo's expression was playful, "What else do you have to pay attention to when you have lost everything?" β
"Yes,"
Vlad smiled: "There are still some, Tezzolo, I still have something worthy of your attention, no, it should be something worthy of your fear." β
"Fear?"
"Hahaha!"
Tezzolo laughed, "What stupid are you talking about? Vlad, do you think you can bring me to my knees by force? β
"I know, when you escaped from Charlotte's house, you defeated Snag, one of the four generals of dessert, uh, no, now that you are a third general, do you think that such a record can make me afraid?"
"No, Tezzolo, that's not what I'm talking about," Vlad shook his head, "strength is important, but I don't think I'm strong enough to make a man like you fearful on my own." β
"So, what do you have to rely on?" Tezzolo felt a little uneasy.
"Tezzolo," Vlad said comfortably as he leaned back on the soft couch, "Have you ever heard of the Fish-Man Pirates?" β
"Fish-Man Pirates?" Tezzolo was a little puzzled, why did he suddenly get involved in the Fish-Man Pirates?
"That's right, the Fish-Man Pirates, the Fish-Man Pirates commanded by Haixia Jinping, one of the Seven Martial Seas of His Majesty, is not a little-known small force, presumably an underground tycoon like Tezzolo has heard of it, right?" Vlad said softly.
"Of course, I've naturally heard of it, Haixia Jinping is not a small person, and I still know his intelligence very well." Tezzolo didn't know what medicine was being sold in Vlad's gourd, but he replied anyway.
"Then you must know what kind of characteristics the Fish-Man Pirates have!"
"Features?"
"That's right, all Fish-Man Pirates have traits that all members of the Fish-Man Pirates have." Vlad said softly.
"You mean," Tezzolo replied softly, with a sudden palpitation, "You mean the sun tattoo that every Fish-Man Pirate member will have?" β
"Yes, yes," Vlad said repeatedly, "this is it, this is it!" β
"So what?" Tezzolo couldn't understand: "What's the big deal about this?" β
"Yes!"
Vlad said softly: "This sun tattoo is not simple. β
"What do you mean?" Tezzolo wondered.
"Tezzolo, you must know very well about Fisher Tiger's climb to the Red Clay Continent and storm Mary Joya to free the slaves, right?" Vlad gave Tezzolo a light glance and whispered.
"Ah," Tezzolo couldn't figure out what Vlad meant, "of course I know, it was a big event that shocked the world back then, and I'm afraid not many people don't know it!" When this incident was revealed, it scared a lot of stupid people. β
"No one could have imagined that there would be anyone in the world who would dare to challenge the authority of the world government. Dare to show your minions to the Draconians. β
"That's right, that's it," Vlad continued, "You know, the Draconians are used to stamping their possessions, it's called, it's called, eh, what's it called?" β
"Eh, what's it called? Tezzolo, I suddenly can't remember. Vlad chuckled.
"Nine Heavens Soaring Dragon's Hoof Tracks!!" Tezzolo spat out the words as if gritting his teeth.
"Yes, yes, that's right, the Nine Heavens Dragon's Hoof Trail is called that," Vlad continued the story: "But you shouldn't know that Tiger was very distressed in order to settle those slaves, especially the fish-man slaves, after all, they are their own compatriots, and they can't be ignored like slaves of other races. β
"What do you mean?" Tezzolo somewhat understood what Vlad was talking about.
"Listen to me," Vlad was a little dissatisfied: "Tiger is very distressed, after all, these marks are so obvious that anyone with a little insight will recognize them as former Draco slaves, so, what should I do?" How do you hide this scar? β
Tezzolo's eyes wandered a little, and Vlad's words had a great impact on him.
"Eventually, Tiger figured out a way, and since the mark couldn't be removed, he might as well add a stamp on it to cover up the ugly mark."
"So, the Fish-Man Pirates were born, and thus, the Sun Mark was born." Vlad ended the storytelling mode.
"I see," Tezzolo looked calm, "It turns out that the Sun Mark of the Fish-Man Pirates still has such a story." β
"This is a big business opportunity, even if the Draconians don't want their slaves, they are not willing to let them be free, do you think so?"
Vlad chuckled, "Tezzolo! β
"That's right," Tezzolo laughed, "this information is valuable, but it would be naΓ―ve to think that would make me agree to cooperate with you." β
"What are you thinking?" Vlad looked a little surprised: "What are you talking about?" Didn't I say that? I'm going to scare you. β
"Fear?" The uneasiness in Tezzolo's heart became more and more obvious: "Is it just you? β
"Of course not," Vlad laughed, "it's not realistic to want a man like you to be scared with my power." β
"And what do you mean?" Tezzolo said in a deep voice.
"Of course it's not me who will scare you," Vlad said softly, "Aren't you supposed to be afraid of those Dracos?" β
"Brush!"
The surrounding environment changed dramatically in an instant, and everything that was originally turned into gold in an instant, countless golden tentacles and spikes came out from all directions. Pointing directly at Vlad, who was sitting on the couch.
"Oh," Vlad sighed softly without moving, "Awakened?" As soon as I came up, I did my best. β
"Tell me, Vlad,"
Tezzolo's expression was extremely hideous, and he wanted to choose someone: "What do you know?" β
