Chapter 50: The Dwarves

The scroll that Madias handed to Varian contained information on the movements of the orc army.

According to the scroll, the orc tribe has taken possession of the Blackstone Mountains, and after repairs, the army continues north, invading the territory of the dwarven kingdom of Kazmodan.

The Dwarves are a race of Titans, who were influenced by the Elder God's Flesh Curse, and are Titans, like the Teviku, the original origin of humanity.

More than 2,000 years ago, the dwarves of Uldaman woke up from their slumber and established a vast dwarven kingdom. The kingdom's territory stretched from the Red Ridge Mountains in the south to the wetlands in the north.

In honor of the Titans who once created them, the dwarves named their kingdom after the Titan Kazgros, who was in charge of the construction, and called it "Kazmodan". In the dwarven language, "Kazmodan" means "Kazmodan",

The dwarves built a huge furnace deep in the Danmoro Snow Peak in central Kazmodan, and built a magnificent city on top of it as their capital, the city of Ironforge in the mountains.

Later, the dwarves entered a period of rapid development under the leadership of the mountain king, Modimus Anwimar, and gradually formed three powerful tribes: the Copperbeard Tribe, the Black Iron Tribe, and the Brute Hammer Tribe.

As Modimus grew old, so did the tension between the three tribes, and when the King of the Mountains died of old age, a bitter civil war had finally broken out.

This civil war between the dwarves lasted for many years.

Eventually, the Copperbeard Clan, led by Prince Madolan Copperbeard, defeated the Black Iron and Brute Hammer Clans, and drove them to the Red Ridge Mountains in the south and the wetlands in the north, respectively.

Kadros Hammer led the Hammer tribe to build a massive city in the Grimbaatar Mountains to the east of the wetlands, and named the city after the mountains.

The Hammer Dwarves continued to expand Grimbaatar, and later the city was even comparable to the Ironforge Castle in the Danmoro Snowy Mountains.

The Black Iron Dwarves who traveled south established the kingdom of Thoresen named after their patriarch in the Red Ridge Mountains.

Despite the fact that the Black Iron Dwarves lived in peace, Thorrisen could not extricate himself from the shame of being driven out of Ironforge by the Copperbeard Clan, and he spent his days leading his army north to take revenge on the Copperbeard Dwarves and take Kazmodan once and for all.

So Thorisen began to secretly accumulate strength, and when the army was formed, he was so crazy that he attacked the Copperbeard and Brute Hammer tribes in two ways.

Thoresen himself led one of the armies against Ironforge, and they even made their way into the melting pot in the center of the city, but they were eventually defeated by the Copperbeard tribe led by Madolan and driven back to Red Ridge Mountain.

The other army, led by the sorceress Mordgood, Thorisen's wife, was tasked with attacking the Grimbaatar of the Hammer Clan.

Mordgood used her evil sorcery to bring fear and nightmares to the capital of the Hammer Clan, and the armies of the Black Iron Dwarves surrounded Grimbaatar.

However, Kaderos quickly assembled a heroic death squad, and he personally launched a counterattack, killing Mordegood in one fell swoop.

The leaderless Black Iron Dwarves had to retreat south, only to encounter an army of the Copperbeard tribe who had set out from Ironforge to pursue Thorrison.

Madolan and Kaderos put aside their previous suspicions and joined forces to annihilate the army of the Black Iron Dwarves in the north and south. Then they swung south to wipe out Thorrison and the Black Iron Dwarves.

Upon learning of his wife's death, an enraged Thorrison enlisted the help of seven sages from the Black Iron Dwarves to unleash a powerful spell that summoned the powerful Fire Elemental Lord, the Firedemon Ragnaros, from the elemental plane.

The arrival of Ragnaros shattered the Red Ridge Mountains, a volcano erupting from the ground, the Blackstone Mountains, and the flames that erupted turned the land into burning plains and scorching canyons.

Thoresen was dead the moment Ragnaros was summoned, and the surviving Black Iron Dwarves were enslaved by Ragnaros and his fire elementals in the depths of the Blackstone Abyss.

So when Varian saw that the orcs were able to occupy the Black Rock Mountain safely, his first reaction was not to believe it, when did the dignified Fire Elemental Lord Flame Demon Ragnaros become so easy to talk to?

What is the reason for this?

Varian struggled to recall the memories of his previous life, and after thinking for a long time, he finally had a clue, as if it was because the Elder God wanted to see the orc tribe cause more bloodshed and chaos, so Ragnaros asked the Black Iron Dwarves to make room for the orcs?

Varian is secretly wary, these are the enemies behind the scenes.

In Varian's opinion, although the pure orc tribe is strong, the alliance can still defeat them, so it is not enough to be considered a real threat.

What really needs to be paid attention to by Varian is those behind the scenes, Medivan (Sargeras), who opened the dark door, has been killed by Lothar and doesn't need to think about it, but what about the ancient gods and elemental lords, what if Ragnaros lets the fire elemental and the black iron dwarves come out to make trouble when the alliance counterattacks to Blackstone Mountain in the future?

And Deathwing, who must have secretly led the orcs to the Demon Soul by now.

Varian had sent some agents to find the Red Dragon Queen, Alexstasa the Oath Bound to Life, in an attempt to save her from the tragic fate of being enslaved by the Dragonmaw Orcs, and also to prevent the Orcs from receiving the help of the Red Dragon's powers.

After all, the air power of the Red Dragon is too much of a threat to the Alliance, and even the Hammer Dwarves riding griffins are no match for them. In the original timeline, Drake, the son of Dailein, died from the Red Dragon's Flame Breath, and the High Elf's forest was destroyed by the Red Dragon's flames.

However, Alexstasza's whereabouts were always erratic, and she never lingered in the same place for long, so Varian's attempt was unsuccessful.

As for going up to Grimbaator to rescue Alekstasa in the future? Varian didn't have any plans yet, he didn't want to get the attention of Deathwing with Big Jaw too soon.

Varian continued to look through the scrolls, and the intelligence showed that when the orc army invaded Kazmodan, the army of the Copperbeard Dwarves resisted bravely, but was defeated by the orcs again and again.

Now that the dwarven towns of Sersamar and Karanos have fallen, King Magni Copperbeard can only order the forces to be reduced. Fortunately, the blizzard of Danmoro delayed the orc march, so the dwarves were able to retreat to Ironforge without any problems.
