Chapter 8: Dumbledore's Plan
"Knowing that the enemy had infiltrated the campus, you didn't act. This is not the Dumbledore I am familiar with. Listening to the words of the old man in front of him, Yang Su asked with a smile, and at the same time casually crushed the magician who handed Dumbledore to him: "But this magic stone is not really said, what are your plans?" β
"I know I can't hide it from you." Listening to Yang Su's words, Dumbledore said, "I have a plan that can help me find out the guy who infiltrated the school. The Philosopher's Stone is the bait, but I want to see if I can fool the powerful you with a fake Philosopher's Stone. If even you are fooled, then you don't need to take the risk of losing the Philosopher's Stone. β
"You shouldn't be so bored, you know very well that it can't fool me. Say it, your true purpose. β
"It's still the same sentence I just said to ask you for help. I set up an interesting test for our savior, Harry Potter, to complete. Hagrid, Sprout, McGonagall, Flitwick, and Snape had already set up the questions. The last question was meant to be something I had to think of for myself. But now that I think about it, it seems like you don't have much to do, so I'll leave it to you. β
"Use these tests to lure out the Death Eaters in the Academy, and then make the final level of this test something that only Harry Potter can complete. It must be said that this plan is simply an insult to the IQ of the Death Eaters. Are you sure you're not looking for a chance to give Gryffindor extra points? β
"No, how could it be? I think this plan is great. Besides, how can you be sure that Harry Potter will join Gryffindor? His father was a pure-blood wizard. β
"He was also the best Seeker in Gryffindor, and the trophy that got rid of him is still in the showroom."
In response to Dumbledore's words, Yang Su continued: "I can help you, although you can get the exam questions even without me, but this is just a blink of an eye for me, give me the Philosopher's Stone for safekeeping, and I will teleport the stone into his pocket when Harry Potter enters the room of the final test." β
"Thank you so much, I'll leave it to you,"
As he spoke, Dumbledore took out the real Philosopher's Stone from the drawer and handed it to Yang Su.
Yang Su, who was not very interested in the Philosopher's Stone, threw it casually and threw it into a small storage space.
β¦β¦ Yang Su spent a lot of time preparing for class, exploring the Forbidden Forest with Hagrid, and asking other teachers for teaching skills, but luckily he only had three students in his first semester at Hogwarts. Two third-grade and one fourth-grader. However, they did not appear in the original book.
There aren't many students at Hogwarts, not even as many as a secondary school in a big city in the previous life. The four colleges can be seen as four classes: 1, 2, 3, and 4. There are seven years in total. The total number of Hogwarts is probably over 300. (Don't ask me how I count, the total number of new students in the first part was no more than 50, and the number of students at Hogwarts was indeed about 300 in the seven years.) Note that some of the people who follow the prefects back to their dorms after sorting include senior students. Yang Su, a student from the fifth grade and above, had no intention of accepting people, and the total number of students in the third and fourth grades did not exceed 80 in total, although the number of electives was the lowest in all courses, but Yang Su did not care about these details.
β¦β¦
Time flies quickly, and in a blink of an eye, the summer vacation at Hogwarts has passed, and it is time for the students to enter the campus again. They took the train to Hogwarts. Yang Su and the other Hogwarts professors sat in the seats on either side of Dumbledore and the students in the seats below as Professor McGonagall waited for the new students to be brought in.
"Robin, you seem to be getting weaker? Look at your pale face, your face has really been getting worse every day since your failed magic experiment. β
"Professor Flitwick, I feel like I have to correct your words, my first self is not weaker, and second, my face is much better than it was in those days. Really, don't let me catch the guy who is dying of rumors that my magic experiment failed, I'm going to deduct all their academy points. β
Yang Su responded to the words of the goblin beside him with some anger. Yes, the main reason why Yang Su has so few students is that there are rumors that he is about to hang up after failing the experiment, which leads to several college tutors coming to visit him after Yang Su learned about his number of students, making jokes.
Looking at Yang Su's annoyed appearance, Flitwick smiled and said, "First of all, Robin is an elective classroom, and you can deduct points, and the extra points can't exceed 30 points." Secondly, are you sure that the students are the ones who spread the rumors? β
(PS: Mrs. Morkin: "Professor Robin Helous's final design, the Chaos Walker, is on sale.") βοΌ
"Squeak," with a loud sound, the door to the hall opened, and Professor McGonagall led a group of young wizards into the hall.
Looking at the little wizards in front of them, the Hogwarts students were talking, and they seemed to know that the famous Harry Potter was among these students.
Professor McGonagall had already spoken to the young wizards about some precautions.
After the freshmen were on their feet, Professor McGonagall gently placed a four-legged stool in front of the first-year freshmen. Then a patched peaked wizard's hat was placed on the stool.
There was silence in the restaurant. Then, the hat twisted. The brim of the hat was torn open in a wide slit, like a mouthβand the hat began to sing: You may think that I am not pretty, but do not judge people by their appearance, if you can find a hat more beautiful than mine, I can eat myself. You can make your bowler hat jet black and shiny, and your high hat smooth and structured, I'm the Hogwarts test hat, and I'm naturally taller than yours. None of the thoughts hidden in your mind can escape the golden eyes of the magic hat, put it on and give it a try, and I will tell you which house you should be assigned to. You may belong to Gryffindor, where there is a deep boldness in your heart, and their courage, courage and boldness make Gryffindor outstanding; You may belong to Hufflepuff, where the people are honest and loyal, and the students of Hufflepuff are stoic and honest, and are not afraid of hard labor; If you are shrewd, you may enter the wise old Ravenclaw, and those who are wise and learned will always meet their fellow disciples there; Maybe you'll go to Stetelin, maybe you'll make sincere friends here, but the cunning and sinister will stop at nothing to get there. Come put me on! Don't be afraid! Don't panic! In my hands (even though I don't even have a hand) you're absolutely safe, because I'm a thinking magic hat! After the Magic Hat finished singing, the audience applauded, and the Magic Hat bowed to the four tables one by one, and then stood still.
Listening to the not-so-nice song of the Sorting Hat, Yang Su smiled and whispered, "I think I should conjure up a beautiful hat and put it in front of it." Will he eat himself? β
"It's useless, this sorting hat is shameless to the extreme. And very careful. Flitwick struck at Yang Su's thoughts: "There was once a freshman who did this, and not only did it ruin that hat, but it also assigned that freshman to an academy that he least wanted to go to. β
"Flitwick, I can hear you, don't spread the word about me," seemed to hear Yang Su and Flitwick's conversation, and instead of calming down, the Sorting Hat yelled at them.
