Chapter 37: Christmas Eve
Hagrid eventually refused, citing Dumbledore's need for it
I had to wait for Harry's second intimate encounter with Voldemort to end.
Rocky suffered burns in his eyes after the game, and due to Voldemort on the back of his head, he couldn't go to Madam Pomfrey for treatment of his injuries, nor could he go to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Injuries, so he had to hide and solve it himself.
Fortunately, Voldemort had his own magical knowledge and dispensed medicine to his resident Rocky doctor, and as a result, Rocky was wrapped in a mummy, and had to endure the pain of toxins and burns in Dragon Burn every day.
Miserable
Rocky now needs to take sleeping pills every day to sleep, otherwise he can't sleep at all due to the pain, and what is even more troublesome is that Voldemort's magic has subsided and he needs to add something.
Unicorn blood
Rocky shuddered for a moment, this thing was tainted with never speeding anymore.
When Rocky refused, Voldemort punished him, and I don't know why Rocky suddenly became much more resolute, no matter how Voldemort tortured him, he just didn't agree.
Christmas is just around the corner. One morning in mid-December, Hogwarts School woke up from a dream to find that it was covered with several feet of snow and that the lake was covered with hard, bang and bang ice.
The Weasley twins were punished for enchanting several snowballs and causing them to chase Quirrell around and smash them behind his turban. Several owls flew through the snowy skies to deliver mail, and after a lot of hardship, they had to regain their strength under Hagrid's care before they could continue to take off.
Everyone can't wait for the holiday.
The north had almost ceased all peripheral activities, squatting in their warm nests every day, hibernating to death, and occasionally appearing in the auditorium where there should be a roaring fire.
The windswept corridors were bitterly cold, and the windows of the classrooms were rattling in the bitter cold wind.
During a Potions class, Draco Malfoy said, "They had to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas because their family didn't want them, and I really feel sorry for them"
He looked at Harry as he spoke. Crabbe and Goyle snickered. Harry was weighing the powdered lionfish vertebrae, ignoring them.
Since Quidditch, Malfoy has become even more gloomy than before. He was outraged by the Slytherin defeat, saying that the next match would be a large-mouthed frog replacing Harry as the Seeker.
He wanted to make everyone laugh, but no one found his words ridiculous, as everyone admired Harry for being able to stay firmly on his rampage broomstick. Jealous and angry, Malfoy turned around and laughed at Harry for not having a decent family.
Then what worried Malfoy was that he regretted it a little as soon as he said it, and his eyes turned around a few times, and he was relieved to find that there was no trace of the north, but fortunately the north was not there.
Harry didn't want to go back to Privet for Christmas. Last week, Professor McGonagall came over to register the list of students who were staying on campus for the holidays, and Harry immediately signed it.
Ron and his two twin brothers are also ready to stay, as the Weasleys are traveling to Romania to visit Charlie.
As they left the basement classroom after their Potions class, they found that the hallway in front of them was blocked by a large fir tree. When they saw the two big feet sticking out from under the tree, and heard the loud snoring, they knew that behind the tree must be the sea.
"Hey, Hagrid, do you need help?" Ron asked, sticking his head out between the branches.
"No, I can, thank you, Ron."
"Can you get out of the way and stay out of the way?" Behind them came Malfoy's cold, long-pitched voice. "Do you want to earn some pocket money, Weasley? I guess you'd like to see the hunting grounds after you graduated from Hogwarts——? Hagrid's hut must have been like a palace compared to your old home!"
Ron rushed headlong towards Malfoy, just as Snape appeared up on the stairs.
"Weasley!"
Ron loosened the clothes on Malfoy's chest.
"Someone messed with him first, Professor Snape." Hagrid stuck his unkempt head out from behind the tree and said, "Malfoy just insulted his family. ”
"Either way, it's against Hogwarts rules to hit someone, Hagrid." Snape said in a sleek voice, "Gryffindor was deducted five points, Weasley, you should be glad you didn't deduct more." Alright, let's go, all of you. ”
Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle squeezed past the tree, knocking needles everywhere. He was smirking smugly. "I'm going to teach him a lesson," Ron said as he looked at Malfoy's back and gritted his teeth, "someday, I'm going to teach him a hard lesson—"
"I really hate the two of them," Harry said, "Malfoy and Snape. ”
"Alright, be happy, it's almost Christmas." Hagrid said, "Guess what, come with me to the dining room, it's wonderful." ”
Harry, Ron, and Hermione followed Hagrid and his fir tree to the Great Hall, where Professors McGonagall and Flitwick were busy arranging the Christmas decorations.
"Ah, Hagrid, the last tree has been brought in—in the corner over there, okay?"
The auditorium is beautiful and spectacular. The walls were covered with weeping ribbons of holly and mistletoe, and a whole dozen towering Christmas trees were erected throughout the room, some with shiny Xiaoice pillars, others with hundreds of candles.
"How many days are left before we have a holiday?" Hagrid asked.
"It's only one day." Hermione said, "Oh, that reminds me - Harry, Ron, we have half an hour to eat, we should go to the library." ”
"Oh, yes, you're right." Ron said, reluctantly looking away from Professor Flitwick. The Professor was using his wand to spew strings of golden bubbles and hang them on the branches of the newly moved tree.
"Library?" Hagrid said, following them out of the auditorium, "Reading a book on vacation?" It's too hard, huh?"
"Oh, we're not reviewing our homework." Harry happily said to him, "Ever since you mentioned Nicol Lemay, we've been trying to figure out who he is. ”
"What?" Hagrid looked horrified. "Listen to me—I told you—stop. The big dog guarding something has nothing to do with you. ”
"We just want to know who Nicol Lemay is, nothing else." Hermione said.
"I'm not going to say anything." Hagrid said dryly.
The North suddenly came out of all directions, and the North was dragging the golden rope in his hand, and on the other end of the rope, Malfoy was struggling.
"No, Lord North, I was wrong, don't"
Ron suddenly remembered something, and subconsciously covered his ass.
