Chapter 67: The Year-end Banquet
Wake up in the morning
Harry suddenly felt a slight pain in his forehead, Harry knew it now, and the scars he knew were inextricably linked to Voldemort.
Harry had a dream in which his castle flew around, and then flew to Hogwarts, into the Forbidden Forest.....
But it was still the middle of the night, and he thought that Voldemort should be cursing himself under Dumbledore's supervision, so he didn't bother with anything more.
"I want to go to a banquet," Harry said to Madam Pomfrey as he sorted out his large box of candy, "is that okay?"
"Professor Dumbledore said you were allowed to go." She said disapprovingly. It seemed to her that Professor Dumbledore did not recognize the potential danger of the banquet. "Someone came to see you again."
"Oh, that's great," said Harry, "who is it?" Before he could finish speaking, Hagrid slumped sideways through the door. Every time Hagrid walked through the door, he looked like a behemoth. He sat down beside Harry, looked at him, and began to cry bitterly.
"Blame me—this—stupid!" He covered his face with his hands and wept, "I told that scoundrel how to subdue Lowe!" I told him! He knows everything, but he doesn't know this, and I just told him about the rain! You almost died! It's all for a dragon egg! I don't drink anymore! I deserve to be kicked out and be a Muggle for the rest of my life!"
"Hagrid!" Harry said. He was shocked to see Hagrid tremble with grief and remorse, and large tears seeping into his beard. "Hagrid, he always has a way to find out, we're talking about Voldemort, even if you don't tell him, he always has a way to know."
"You almost died!" Hagrid sobbed and said, "Oh, don't say that name!"
"I'm going to say, Voldemort!" Harry yelled. He saw Hagrid panic and stopped shouting. "I once met him face to face, and I called him by his name to his face. Hagrid, please, be happy, we have saved the Philosopher's Stone, it is now captured and Voldemort can no longer do evil"
"But don't blame yourself, Hagrid, didn't you end up looking for the North? If you hadn't gone to warn the North, maybe things would have been worse."
Hagrid shook his head, "No, it's not like this, the North has set a trap early, and you can feel the anomaly without my notice"
"At least where will the north be when I arrive, and what might she do to me if she wasn't there."
"Eat a chocolate frog, I've got a lot of ......"
Hagrid wiped his nose with the back of his hand and said, "That reminds me." I've got a gift for you, too. "It's not going to be a ferret sandwich, is it?" Harry asked worriedly, and Hagrid finally forced out laughing. "It's not. Dumbledore gave me a day off yesterday to sort it out. Of course, he should have fired me - okay, here's ......"
It looks like a beautiful, leather-covered book. Harry opened it curiously, and it was plastered with pictures of wizards. On every page, it was his father and mother who smiled and waved at him. "I sent owls to deliver letters to your parents' old classmates and ask them for photos...... Know you don't have a picture of them...... Do you like it?" Harry couldn't speak, but Hagrid understood.
That night, Harry went downstairs alone to attend the end-of-year party. Madam Pomfrey had stopped him in a fuss and insisted on giving him another physical examination, so when he arrived at the Great Hall, it was already full.
The auditorium was decorated in green and silver representing Slytherin to celebrate their seventh consecutive year of winning the House Cup. On the wall behind the guest of honor stood a large banner depicting Slytherin snakes. As soon as Harry walked in, there was a sudden silence in the auditorium, and then suddenly everyone began to speak loudly again. He walked over to Gryffindor's table and sat between Ron and Hermione, pretending not to notice that people were standing up and staring at him.
Thankfully, a moment later, Dumbledore arrived, and the noise in the Great Hall subsided.
"Another year has passed!" Dumbledore said gleefully, "Before I can indulge in these delicacies, I must trouble everyone to listen to an old man's cliché." What a wonderful year it has been! Your little brains must be a little richer than they used to be...... There's a whole summer vacation waiting for you ahead of you, so you can digest those things before the next semester starts, so that your mind can be freed......
"Now, as far as I know, we first have to have the House Cup award ceremony, and the specific scores for each house are as follows: fourth place, Gryffindor, four hundred and twelve points; third, Hufflepuff, 352 points; Ravenclaw 426 points, Slytherin 472 points. ”
The Slytherin table erupted in thunderous cheers and stomping. Harry saw Draco Malfoy banging his goblet on the table, and it was disgusting.
The traversers on the side all knew what to expect, waiting for Dumbledore's powerful slap in the face.
"yes, yes, good performance." Dumbledore said, "However, several recent events must also be taken into account. The Great Hall became very quiet, and the Slytherins' smiles narrowed a little, they both knew in their hearts that Dumbledore looked like he was going to attack them.
"Uh, uh," Dumbledore cleared his throat, "I have some final points to distribute." Let me see. By the way...... "First item - Mr. Ron Weasley......" Ron's face suddenly turned red, like a carrot in the sun. “…… He won one of the best games at Hogwarts in many years, for which I awarded Gryffindor House fifty points. ”
The cheers of the Gryffindors nearly toppled the enchanted ceiling. The stars above their heads also seemed to tremble slightly. Percy could be heard shouting to the other prefects, "It's my brother, you know!" My youngest brother! Successfully passed Professor McGonagall's giant chessboard array!"
It was not easy for everyone to calm down again. "The second item – Miss Hermione Granger and Miss Carol Lau...... They calmly reasoned in the face of the flames, and I would like to reward Gryffindor and Ravenclaw House with fifty points. ”
Hermione buried her face in the crook of her arm; Harry suspected she must have been secretly crying.
Liu Jialu bared her teeth and smiled.
The Gryffindor classmates around them were ecstatic, jumping up and down at the table - they had risen a full hundred points!" The third item - when the school faced difficulties, some brave students stepped forward and made outstanding contributions to the school, and were rewarded to Mr. Yao Shunyu, Guo Shuai, Lu Renjia, Liu Jialu, Zuo Zhe,
Billy Hairington 10 points each"
roar
The other three houses except Slytherin cheered, and this time the bonus score was too damn exciting.
Beibei silently squatted on the small bench, laughing without saying a word.
Dumbledore focused his gaze on the North.
Oh, is this old bee going to do something?
