"The Legend of Cloud Flying" is finally on the shelves, and I would like to take this opportunity to talk about some of my thoughts.
Before that, let me explain what it means to be "on the shelf", the so-called shelf, is that the editors of 17K think that my book can bring some economic benefits, so after writing enough free chapters of 300,000 words, they gave me the permission to set VIP chapters independently, and the 17K backstage will also hang my work on the corresponding list for a few days to promote, see how popular it is, and then decide whether the work is good or bad to stay. In other words, popularity is particularly important to me now! So, if you have the habit of reading fantasy online articles, you might as well give "Yun Fei Biography" a chance; if you don't have this habit, please also tell your friends about "Yun Fei Biography". Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
"The Legend of Yunfei" is a very traditional fantasy text. "The protagonist's perspective is not obvious", "The story is too traditional and not novel enough", "Not attractive enough", "Not standard enough"...... These are the responses I received when I submitted my book shortly after I started it. To be honest, I was surprised to be able to persevere. It wasn't until I met Mr. Yiqiu of 17K by mistake that he only asked me a few simple questions and sent me the signing contract. Being recognized by such a professional teacher makes me feel that the efforts of more than 100 days have not been in vain. I want to say that the process of writing "The Legend of Yunfei" was not pleasant.
Then I would like to talk about the significance of writing "The Legend of Yunfei". At the beginning of the signing of "Yunfei Biography", my desire to write was unprecedentedly low, probably because it had been delayed for too long. The next day, I went to work as before, holding my mobile phone in my hand, and read Mr. Zhu Ziqing's "Qinhuai River in the Sound of Oars and Lights" with relish. I don't know why, there were a lot of people crowding the subway that day, and I followed the crowd in front of me as usual, and unconsciously moved to the front position, because I was reading a book, and I didn't pay much attention to the surrounding situation. Then the car came, and the moment I raised my head, a strong surge swept me into the crowd, and then I was forced into the car...... Negative distance contact with people you don't know, standing with your legs at weird angles, your body is very uncomfortable, and the most terrifying thing is that you can't even take a deep breath. I struggled to turn on my phone, and it was still the same prose, and a sudden explosion of anger. At this time, I don't want to see any "night view of Dazhong Bridge", I don't want to listen to "the singing prostitutes of the Qinhuai River", and I don't want to see a large series of moral, emotional, and human nature analyses caused by a literati because there are no prostitutes; at this time, I just want to see the protagonist of the story holding two watermelon knives in his hand and slashing from Dongping 99th Street to Xiping 99th Street! In this way, my heart seems to be a little more comfortable!
The most superficial meaning of literature is that it can provide an environment for people, an environment where they can temporarily escape from real life and vent their emotions, and I understand it this way. For this reason, I will write "The Legend of Yunfei". This is also the reason why I chose the theme of fantasy, the content of fantasy literature is barren, the theme is single, and even the three views conveyed by most of the works are not quite correct, but in terms of the beauty and treachery of the works, there is no other genre that can stand out. As for the deeper meaning of reading literature, it is up to the reader to discover it himself, and for me, it is an extremely complex interest that I can't even explain. Oh, and one more thing, Mr. Zhu Ziqing's prose is cleverly conceived and beautifully sentenced, which is really a rare treasure. I removed it from my bookshelf in a fit of rage, but afterwards, I re-bought the electronic rights. I'd rather you don't take a look at my "The Legend of Yunfei", and I hope you can read Mr. Zhu's article.
As for the content of "Yunfei Biography", I can only say this - I am a newbie, and there is still a long, long way to go. The first article in my comment section made it clear, "I really need everyone's opinions, as long as it is the opinions put forward by readers, I will humbly adopt them and change them in time." Except for unreasonable requests!" At the beginning of "Yunfei Biography", there were very few readers, only a few friends around me, but fortunately, there were many senior online literature lovers, and the most pleasant comment I heard was "It's okay to write, at least it makes people have the desire to read it." I can promise that I will write each chapter with my heart! Again, if you have any opinions, you may as well speak up. Of course, as the saying goes, it is difficult to reconcile, even if it is everyone's work, sometimes it will still be criticized by many people, and I am a newcomer who has just started, I can only say seriously: Please be a little more patient, I will work hard to grow, thank you.
Finally, I would like to give a special thanks to a friend of mine, Xiaokun. All along, he has been encouraging me and supporting me, and without him, there would be no "Yunfei Biography". The title of "The Biography of Yunfei" will be the words "I would like to dedicate this book to Xiaokun".
If you have friends who like fantasy and cool texts, you might as well recommend "Yunfei Biography" by Tao Mouse Weasel (my pen name), thank you.
