Chapter 169: Buy a Memories
The life of a wizard is no different from that of a human. They also have their own stores, their own way of entertainment, and their own way of working. But the only difference between the two may be that the former has the power that the latter would never have.
As for the gathering places and distribution places of various wizards in New York, apart from the wizards themselves, Calder knows best. So the group, led by Calder, went straight to a bar run by a wizard.
The bar is very luxurious inside, but from the outside, it looks like a normal house, and there is no sign that it is a bar. Except for the symbol on the top of the gate that I couldn't understand what it meant.
"That's it." Push open the door and enter the bar. Calder turned the ring on the middle finger of his left hand, and then gently placed his hand on the iron railing that snaked down the stairs in front of him.
Their gaze swept over the bar.
The bar as a whole doesn't look different, but the glimmer of light that can't be created by lighting is unusually beautiful.
Hiss......
Calder made his way down the stairs. And his hand slid down from the bar. The ring was drawn on the steel, and it made a fluctuating sound with a special rhythm.
The atmosphere of the bar suddenly froze, and the sound stopped for a moment, making several people suddenly feel like their ears were broken. Immediately afterward, everyone in sight rose to their feet, and all the other safe passages were left in all directions, and no one dared to pass Calder and them.
In just a few breaths, the entire bar is gone! Only the mess left everywhere. Oh, except for the girl who was a little uneasy at the bar.
Calder walked to the bar, but before he could say anything, the girl spoke.
"Everyone comes according to the rules, humans can't come here."
Calder nodded and said, "This place is beautiful. β
"Thank you."
"How do you charge for this?"
The girl said, "It depends on what you buy." β
"I'll buy a memory."
"Five hundred dollars."
Calder laughed, then snapped his fingers and said, "Deal." β
The girl froze for a moment, then realized something, bit her lip, and said with some annoyance: "Did I just say five hundred?" I'm actually talking about five thousand, five thousand dollars. β
Calder looked at her, "Five thousand, you mean that number?" β
The girl nodded: "Yes, I want to report five thousand." β
Calder nodded and said without hesitation: "Deal." β
"That's 50,000." The girl changed her tune again.
Weiyang and a few people can see that in fact, the girl doesn't want to do Calder's business, she wants to scare Calder away at a high price, but she miscalculated Calder's financial resources.
Calder put his hands in front of the bar, looked at the girl seriously, and said, "Can you start?" β
The girl shook her head and said, "No, forget it, I changed my mind, and the store is closed." β
With that, she began to clean up the things on the table. Calder was quicker, though, and held them all down before the girl could pick them up. Then he stared at the girl, picked up the large jar on the table, and sniffed it slightly.
"It's a Fear Potion." Calder said, then put the thing down again, "Is there anything else in this world that you are afraid of?" β
Calder's conversation with the girl made people laugh, so instead of paying attention to the conversation between the two, Weiyang instead wandered around the bar. Anyway, there are no guests, and he is not afraid of disturbing anyone.
There were various things on the table that had not yet been drunk, and Weiyang picked up one of the glasses of liquid, which looked clear, and then sniffed it. But it tastes surprisingly strange. He thought it was wine, but he couldn't smell any of it at all.
"The content is extremely high, but after drinking it with your physical fitness, there shouldn't be any side effects." Newton also leaned over and said.

Newton said, "Great. A substance in hemp that can make people very dependent. β
"That's poison. What's the matter? Weiyang said, "I didn't expect the wizard to take this." β
"Human beings have been using this for more than 1,000 years, especially in modern times, and the use of religion in this area has tended to increase." Newton said.
I don't know where all this information came from.
While they were talking, Calder had already made an agreement with the girl.
"What do you want a memory potion for? Catch a certain wizard? The girl took a few things from the vertical counter behind her, placed them in front of her, and began to debug.
"To help an old friend." Calder said.
The girl glanced up at Calder, and then said, "But I warn you, if you are injured in memory, it will be the same in reality." That is, if you die in memory, you will die in reality. β
However, Calder seemed to be quite unconcerned about the girl's words, and he said softly, "I can't die anywhere." β
The girl shrugged, then picked up the needle and pumped out the concocted green solvent, which was poured into a pink cherry. After plucking the cherry, he handed it to Calder and said, "I am a disclaimer to save myself a life." β
Calder took the cherry, walked to the side and sat down, lifted it slightly, and said to the girl, "Do it first for respect......
With that, he opened his mouth and put the cherry into his mouth.
When they saw this, they walked over to Calder's side, then sat down and waited.
The girl looked a little cramped, but it was much more relaxed than when she had just faced Calder. She looked at Weiyang and asked, "Are you his companions?" β
"Sort of." Weiyang said.
"Wizard hunter?" As she spoke, the girl shook her head, "You shouldn't be wizard hunters. β
"Why do you say that?"
"Because the last wizard hunter in the world is here, and he has taken my medicine." The girl said.
Calder's breathing was steady, but as he breathed, every breath he exhaled was frosty in the air! The temperature of the bar is not low, it is able to frost and it looks strange.
"He must have remembered a cold place in his memory." The girl said to them, "What he experienced in his memories will all return to his body."
