On Friday, November 24, 2017, in a Puma flagship store on Huaihai Road, the magic capital, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry sat in a corner and was interviewed by a master of football.
Reflecting on last weekend's north London derby, Thierry Henry smiled: "I was there and first of all as an Arsenal fan I was very happy. But what makes me happier is to see them play like this all the time, not just against Tottenham, which is the way Arsenal should play.
As you know, this game against Tottenham is very important for us, but it's not just that they beat Tottenham, it's the way they won and I think the way they played was impressive because it's been a long time since I've seen an Arsenal player play like that, be able to put pressure from start to finish, and in the second half they wanted to keep attacking. Because they controlled the game and wanted to score more.
It's been a long time since I've seen Arsenal play like that, especially in the league. You can look at the way they played, they controlled the game from the first minute until the last minute. They have that desire [to win] and hopefully do the same against Burnley on Sunday. (Arsenal eventually won the game thanks to Tan Xibi's world-wave long-range shot and Alexis Sanchez's penalty.) οΌ
In my opinion, if you want to win the league, you have to do it every week. If you can do it, you won't fail. It was a brilliant game and I'm very happy, especially when we beat Tottenham and the way we beat them was great. β
Master reporter who understands the ball: "What do you think of Tan Xibi's performance?" β
"Wall?" Henry seemed to be not as familiar with Tan Xibi's Chinese name as his English name, first looked at the reporter suspiciously, after the reporter finally said Tan Xibi's English name, Henry laughed, danced with his hands and eyebrows, and said happily: "I watched every game of his on the spot, I really didn't expect the level of Chinese players to be so high." (The reporter was a little embarrassed, because only Tan Xibi has the strength to compete with world-class stars in the whole of China, and Tan Xibi's football ability started abroad, and it has nothing to do with Chinese football.) Therefore, although Tan Xibi is a Chinese, he does not actually represent the level of Chinese football. He's a phenomenal player, at his age, he can perform so well, I'm afraid only a few talented players such as Michael (Owen), Ronaldo and so on can compare with him, at least at the age of 18, none of us can establish ourselves in the big clubs, let alone start every game.
I see N'Golo (N'Golo's) in Wall, his defensive ability is completely at N'Golo's level, and more importantly, he completely surpasses N'Golo too much in attack, look at his goals and assists, especially against Tottenham Hotspur to show terrible dominance, his long balls and vision, there is the shadow of Andres (Pirlo). I found that he was improving every game, from defending, to playmaking at the back. His appearance completely solved the defects in Arsenal's midfield position. Arsène (Arsene Wenger) is really discerning, and can reuse the newcomer Wall, this courage is rarely seen by a manager who coaches a big team, after all, young players come to the big clubs, it takes a long time to adapt, but Wall seems to adapt quickly.
Is there still a genius like Wall in Huaguo? I think we can let them play in Europe, maybe in the next World Cup, they can see the Chinese team in Qatar. β
The reporter laughed a few times, but he didn't know what to say, he didn't know if there was a demon like Tan Xibi in Huaguo, he only knew that the boss of the master who knew the ball said that maybe in another fifty years, a hundred years, there would be no more geniuses like Tan Xibi.
Reporter: "Arsenal's shock away win over Manchester City, which has been winning in a row, and then a complete victory over Tottenham, without the task of Champions League, can this Arsenal finally finish in the top four this season?" β
Thierry Henry: "Of course it's our goal, but as an Arsenal fan I'd rather see the team win the league. If I were to answer you as an Arsenal fan, I would like the team to win the title. If you look at it from a neutral point of view, as a coach, it's also very important to go to the Champions League, we all know it's good for the team's finances, it's good for signings, it's good for you and it's going to keep you going.
So from the point of view of Arsenal fans, Arsenal should compete for the league title again. But now the question is always, 'Do you think you can finish in the top four?' β
For me, the question should always be 'Do you think you can win the league?' 'Different problems mean different goals, so if you can't win the league, you're going to want to secure a top-four place.
So for Arsenal, the question should be 'do you want to win the league?' Or, 'Can you win the league?' 'In my opinion, it's really important to finish the top four and get back in the Champions League, but like I said, the league is very competitive, especially now that the top six are battling. We used to say the top four, the top three and the top two, but now there are six teams competing for a place in the top four.
However, this is my thinking before last weekend's north London derby, and now my thinking has changed because Arsenal have added the weakest link...... (Reporter: "Tan Xibi's joining? Yes, I believe many people can see now that the addition of Wall has allowed Arsenal to compete with Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and other strong teams in the position of midfield, if Wall can maintain a healthy body to play in the league, I think Arsenal is still very hopeful of winning the league title this season, after all, in the top six, only Arsenal does not have a Champions League task, although Manchester City and Manchester United are ahead, but in February next year, the Champions League knockout round begins, maybe it will be Arsenal's opportunity.
Reporter: "Who do you think is the hottest rising star in the world?" β
Thierry Henry: "Of course there are a lot of them, and the hottest one now is, of course, Mbappe." It's no surprise that he's the winner of this year's Golden Boy Award, and I think everyone already knows about him. But I think Wall will be on fire next year if he can continue to play well in the league. Before Wall came along, it looked like Mbappe would be the one to dominate football in the future, but it's hard to say right now because Wall could freeze him. I'm looking forward to the day when they go head-to-head and it's going to be fun. β

"Ahhh It's so expensive! β
After Henry finished his interview with the master of the ball, he heard a cry not far away.
Although I couldn't understand Mandarin, I soon heard an English voice.
"Oh my God, Wall's home shirt for the players alone costs Β£120! Together with the away and second away kits, they all add up to more than 400 pounds! β
"And demand is still in short supply! To book! β
"A player's version of the home jersey costs more than 1,000 soft girls, 555, and one-fifth of the salary is gone."
"You're only one-fifth, and this jersey will cost me half of my salary!"
"Puma is too dark!"
Thierry Henry asked reporters: "Is Wall's jersey expensive?" β
The reporter replied: "Well, it's the most expensive at Arsenal, and it's not enough to sell, I heard that a batch of goods arrived the day before yesterday and sold out quickly." β
"The Huaguo market is really big." Henry sighed.
β¦β¦
"Damn, use Lao Tzu to make a lot of money, Lao Tzu won't benefit at all." Tan Xibi said to Fabian Goetze dissatisfied, "What about the Huaguo sporting goods company you are looking for?" β
