Chapter 10: Tim's Search

"Master Tim, this is your dinner, please remember to eat on time, I'll come back in ten minutes to take a look"

Normally, Alfred disapproves of eating in the bedroom, and Bruce, who had severe difficulty getting out of bed, was the only one who could enjoy lunch in bed again, and now with Tim.

After Tim moved into Wayne Manor as Bruce's adopted son, Alfred discovered that the child had a serious irregular schedule. Robin's life, which already consumes brain cells, has seriously affected Tim's schedule. And Lucius is finally finding an heir for Bruce who meets the needs of the Wayne Group, and even squeezes out Tim's little free time, with the result that the child has no time to rest at all, and even forgets to eat, which is a necessary thing in life.

Alfred had to work part-time as Tim's meal prompter, bringing every meal to his room on time when Tim was too busy to leave the room, and checking in every ten minutes to make sure he was eating.

“... Uh, okay"

Tim looked at Alfred with some humility, he was very grateful for the old man's care, in fact, he was not as self-reliant as he imagined, he used to take care of himself very well when his father was often not at home, but after moving to Wayne Manor, there were really too many things to take care of.

Alfred glanced at the messy room, which was outrageous by the standards of a normal boy, like the sock buried under the dirty clothes.

It was hard to believe that such a random person could have such a rigorous logical thinking, and that these two completely opposite traits could be embodied in the same person, which surprised Alfred a little.

After Alfred left, Tim was bogged down in case analysis. Recently, there have been some strange signs of the underground forces in Gotham. Although there was no direct evidence, Tim instinctively felt that something was not right. He wasn't sure if Bruce was aware of it, but if he discussed it with Bruce, there was no evidence, and it was hard to convince the man of anything.

What's the anomaly? It's really hard for him to say why, and if I had to sum it up, it would be... Well... It's so peaceful.

The frequency of drug dealers has indeed dropped a lot lately, which makes Tim have a bad premonition. The chances of Gotham criminals figuring it out and cooperating with each other are very low, but low doesn't mean zero. Whether it's Black Mask, the famous guys, or the guys scattered around Gotham, collaboration is not something to be happy for Batman.

"It's time to look it up"

An informant he had just arranged sent Robin a message through his secret email address that there would be a drug deal on a not-so-small scale in the Old Town tonight.

"Before you plan to go out, I'd advise you to eat your dinner first"

Alfred's voice suddenly appeared, and Tim almost smashed the computer in his hand.

"Ah Fu!"

"What do I command here? Master Tim"

Alfred held the plate full of food that had been brought ten minutes earlier, and looked at Tim with a "kind" gaze, and finally Tim compromised and ended up with the plate, and he would definitely not agree to let him go to the night watch alone if he didn't eat Ah Fu.

Tim sat on the verandah of the house, looking at the group of guys trading below. He knew one of them, the biggest drug dealer in Gotham City. His drug dealer business is even bigger than Black Mask, Black Mask is only more extensive and mainly uses weapons, Wright is probably bigger than Black Mask in terms of drug business alone.

It's a drug deal, so it's not surprising that Gotham's biggest drug dealer is here, but Tim always feels a subtle sense of disobedience.

Looking carefully through the binoculars, the crowd below was carefully observed, and the atmosphere was peaceful.

A piece of peace? Hell, this is not a business negotiation, peaceful ghost.

Tim recalibrated the focal length of the telescope to make sure he could read the lips of the two guys. After observing for a long time, Tim felt that if he was not crazy, then these guys must have suddenly changed their minds to a new code language, and the answer to interpret the lip language he knew was that they were chatting?

What the hell is chatting? He didn't know when the biggest drug dealer in Gotham had changed sex and started chatting casually.

Just when Tim was guessing, Wright's cell phone rang, and he glanced at the phone screen and hurriedly answered the call, if Tim was not bothered by his own judgment, then he must have seen that Wright's expression was not relaxed at the moment.

Wright, of course, wasn't bored to the extreme, and with a few of his men and another gang of guys, he was here to enjoy the night breeze and the moon, and he was here only because this was one of the designated places for Red Hood to pay the money.

After dealing with that man a few times, he knew that this man was likely to replace Black Mask as one of the Gotham underground bosses.

Ruthless, professional and most importantly, vigilant. According to the agreement, forty percent of their income will be handed over to him.

But Red Hood always had a fixed time and place to make deliveries, sometimes he would go directly to their lair to get the money, and more often, as he did now, he would come to him with the money at a random place and time.

He's here to pay for it today, but the phone call from Red Hood tells him that the deal was canceled because Batman had noticed it.

When Red Hood says it will protect them from Batman's sphere of influence, they are not so convinced, and their best hope is that he can give them a strength in Gotham that can rival Black Mask. A lot of criminals have shouted that they can take out Batman, but none of them have ever succeeded.

They originally thought that Red Hood was just another newcomer with some capital and enough arrogance.

But even this time, there have been several times when they have slipped out of the hands of the Dark Knight. The Red Hood seems to know Batman's routes and patterns of action, always avoiding an encounter with the man he fears.

After receiving the signal from the red hood, Wright naturally did not dare to act rashly, and immediately left the place with his men, although he had not yet discovered where the black bat was hiding.

When Tim reacted, he found that Wright had actually left, and after checking it again and again with a telescope, he made sure that there was nothing in the hands of both sides, which made Tim a little puzzled. What happened to these two guys leaving without even making a deal?

What Tim didn't know was that while he was observing the group, there was a pair of eyes watching him....... Through the scope of a sniper rifle.....
