Chapter Twenty-Three: Robbery

Black Mask had been standing by the window and looking out at the drizzling rain and was silent. The room was filled with an oppressive atmosphere, so that the bodyguards standing behind him all tried to hide their presence as much as possible, so as not to accidentally become a breakthrough for him to burst out of anger.

Just now, one of his land was robbed, and the little boss in charge of that territory is still lying in the hospital and completely immobile.

He knew who it was, the red hood. Ever since he arrived in Gotham, there have been predictions that Gotham's underground will be redivided. At that time, the guy was just a thief stealing around, and no one would take this statement seriously, more than just another arrogant madman.

But it's just this time, and the scattered drug dealers in Gotham are integrated by what means he doesn't know. It turned out that the guys he was holding back had begun to fight back, and Black Mask knew that this was just the beginning.

The guy with the red hood, if it weren't for being on the opposite side of himself, he really wanted to win him over. Smart enough, ruthless enough, and means enough. It's all the talent he needs, but damn this guy is really a guy on the opposite side. These qualities that he admires will mean that he will be the most troublesome opponent.

Getting rid of him was the safest way to go, but he couldn't even find out where this guy was. The anger that had nowhere to vent made the black mask's face even more ugly.

The office door suddenly remembered a knock, and then the door was pushed open before the person inside could answer.

The person who came was Black Mask's favorite secretary, and she brought a piece of news that was enough to make Black Mask feel better at the moment.

"Boss, news from the Lex Group"

"Preferably the one I want to hear"

"The goods are ready and ready to be shipped"

After hearing the news, Black Mask leaked a miserable smile, which was indeed good news for him.

"Then let them bring their stuff over tonight"

"Okay"

The secretary received an answer and turned to leave the room to make arrangements. To get that thing into Gotham, the legal procedures are not difficult to handle, and the most important thing to worry about is the black bat. He wouldn't have watched such a thing enter his turf.

Black Mask wasn't worried that his secretary wouldn't be able to do these things, all he had to think about now was that the black bat would definitely get in the way. It's just that he doesn't know that there is someone other than Batman who is also staring at him.

Jason sat in the room listening to the sound coming from the bugging, Black Mask bought something from Luther's bald head? This is not good news at all.

The Metropolis has been a bit busy lately, and he doesn't know the specific situation, but he can guess it from the time when the old bat has nothing to do with it.

What did the guy in the black mask buy? High-tech weapons? Luther's bald head likes to make trouble all kinds of trouble when he has nothing to do all day.

"I don't know what that big blue guy is doing, if I just throw that bald head into the sun"

Complaining is complaining, but he is not interested in running to Superman's territory to do something, not to mention that Luthor is not a match for nothing, and he doesn't want to attract too much attention right now.

In any case, what is beneficial to the black face must also be beneficial to him, and it doesn't matter what it is, just grab it.

Jason looked at the map on his computer, thought carefully for a while, and then left the room with his helmet.

In the early hours of the morning, a large transport truck slowly drove out of an ordinary warehouse. Just like all previous shipments, it was just a little late.

This very ordinary transport truck drove along the road towards the designated pier. Gotham and Metropolis are neighboring cities just across the bay, but the land territory of the two cities is not bordering, and the level of security from Metropolis to Gotham is relatively low, and the fastest mode of transportation is by sea.

The truck arrived at the port and pulled into a transport ship that had been waiting there for a long time. When the truck arrived, the transport ship quickly left the dock quietly and took advantage of the darkness to head towards the dock belonging to Gotham on the opposite side.

Ships tend to sail along the coastline for safety reasons, but this also means that the voyage time will be increased. This ship is no exception, it is now taking advantage of the night to quietly travel along the coastline towards the designated place, everything is normal.

Jason stood in the corner of the cabin and looked at the large transport truck, wondering if the guy in the black mask had bought a nuclear bomb from Luther.

After thinking about it carefully, he dismissed this possibility, Black Mask was not the Joker's madman, and he was not interested in destroying the whole of Gotham.

Jason carefully observed the truck, there were two familiar people sitting in the cockpit, they had seen it from the Black Mask, so far they had not heard any sound coming from the compartment of the truck, there should be no one guarding inside.

"It's really a big heart, no one guards such a valuable thing"

Jason said this, but he knew very well that the transport ship was a ship hired by Black Mask, guarded by Black Mask's men.

Once the ship docked at the designated port, there were still a large number of black-masked men waiting, and the seemingly lax security was actually quite tight.

Luthor is ostensibly a serious businessman, so he will try to erase all clues related to him as much as possible, this transport vehicle has nothing to do with Luther, the driver is a man in the Black Mask, and the ship is also hired by the Black Mask. It's very cunning, and it really fits the pattern of behavior that the bald head has always had.

Jason didn't do it right away, the ship was still in the waters of the Metropolis, and the Luthor guy probably had some other means, such as the small boat that had been following the transport ship since it went to sea. Jason also knew that it wouldn't be with him for long, and once it was out of the Metropolitan Sea, Luthor would be completely out of the Cosmopolitan Sea, and everything that happened after that would have nothing to do with him. Soon, the white dinghy reached a certain position, turned its bow and sailed back in the direction it had come.

After knowing through the porthole that there was no more white dinghy in his career, Jason got to work.

After quickly knocking out the two people in the cockpit and tying them up, he opened the car's trailer, which was indeed unguarded as Jason had guessed. It was only when Jason saw what was inside that he realized how naïve he was.

"Luther, that guy.... This thing has been copied! The black mask is bold enough, and this thing dares to buy it."

That kind of thing is definitely not the original, and that Luthor guy is reluctant to take out the original and sell it, which must be a batch product of his genetic laboratory.

Jason felt that his robbery was too timely, and if this thing fell into the hands of Black Mask, then the underground spheres of influence in the United States would need to be rewritten, and it was a very large-scale writing. Close the door carefully, he didn't want this thing to suddenly move halfway.

The transport ship was still moving quietly, Jason didn't have much time, and once he entered the waters of Gotham, the eyes and ears of the Black Mask would surely be eyeing the ship.

Quickly moving from the cabin to the wheelhouse, secretly eliminating all the guards, in order to avoid becoming a target, Black Mask arranged not many people on this ship, Jason quickly took control of the ship.

Jason laughed and turned off the communicator, turning it off and saying to the guys behind him who were trapped like dumplings:

"We need to change course"

Then he steered the ship off course and headed for another place.
