Three-ninety-nine, the high-rise building of the horse weeping willow side nine

But that's just the beginning. Welcome to Reading //

The two bombers then dropped seven more incendiary bombs before they flew away, leaving only the reconnaissance planes in place to continue their reconnaissance. The entire camp of the Outer Mongolian bandit army was full of flames, black smoke soared into the sky, and between the fireworks were full of longing figures struggling to call for help, and the bullets and explosives that exploded were like fireworks and firecrackers on Chinese New Year's Eve. But no matter how loud the explosion was, it still couldn't hide the terrible screams.

One incendiary bomb deviated slightly from the camp and landed on the banks of the Bulgan River. The ice on the surface of the river has experienced the whole winter, as thick as three or four feet, and it was melted by incendiary bombs to form a deep pool with a diameter of tens of meters, and many people wanted to extinguish the fire on their bodies with water, so they desperately threw themselves into the icy Bulgan River, who knew that under the invasion of cold and heat, they died faster.

All the officers and men of the Altai patrol battalion on the other side of the river stood silently by the river, staring at what was happening in front of them, and no one made the slightest sound. Although the flames were raging not far away, and the wind swept the heat from time to time, everyone felt an endless chill in their hearts, only that their faces were pale, their hands and feet were hard, and their whole body trembled, and many could not help but pray to their gods:

"Eternal Heaven bless!"

"My Hu Da!"

"The Jade Emperor, the Taishang Laojun, the Buddha, the ancestors and the ancestors are above, bless the peace of the little one!"

The fire lasted for more than half an hour before it was extinguished, and Paleta relentlessly crossed the Bulgan River with his men. When passing by the deep pool formed by the incendiary bomb, you can see that the water surface of the deep pool is densely covered with black charcoal-like human bodies, but none of them make a cry for help, and they have been dead for a long time.

The camp of the Outer Mongolian army can no longer see half of its original appearance after the baptism of incendiary bombs, felt bags, tents, trenches, and fortifications have all disappeared, and those noisy Mongolian men are now forever quiet, and the strong bodies that used to ride horses and shoot and wrestle are either buried in the fire and turned to ashes, or they are burned to the ground and unrecognizable.

Along the way, eight huge craters can be counted, and everything within tens of meters around the crater is smoked black. Smoke still billows from the charred human body, and from time to time internal organs burst out and spill on the ground. Many people were burned to the ground, but they did not die immediately, tossing and moaning on the ground, screaming and screaming, just hoping for a quick death. At this time, help him mend a knife to give him a good time, not cruelty, but supreme mercy!

The vomiting of the officers and men of the patrol battalion also came and went. Most of these soldiers who dared to follow had seen blood in the suppression of bandits and counterinsurgency. Now he can still vomit upside down, which shows the tragic extent of the scene.

Of the more than 1,000 people brought over by Danbaijiang Village, only two or three hundred were able to survive this battle, and there were probably two or three hundred people who barely survived, and the rest had already returned to the spring. The remaining soldiers stood not far away, unresponsive to the approaching patrol soldiers. One by one, their eyes glazed over, staring firmly at the black ruins of the camp.

If Xinjiang goes against Sun Yuanqi in the future, will he not be able to escape this fate? At the thought of this, Paretta couldn't help but shudder.

The bombardiers on both bombers had no idea how much of the murder they had inadvertently committed. They returned to the airport in Anxi Prefecture for a short rest, and after refueling the bombs, they took off again and headed straight for the city of Kobdo, an important city in western Outer Mongolia.

For Chinese, the city of Kobdo should be an unforgettable city.

Kobdo. Also known as "Hebuduo", in the eighth year of Yongzheng (1730), the city of Kobdo (now the capital of Kobdo Province of Mongolia) was built, and it was named because it was close to the Kobdo River. In the twenty-sixth year of Qianlong (1761), he was appointed as the counselor of Kobdo, and ruled over the Dulbert Department and the tribes around the Altai Mountains. Since then, the area under the jurisdiction of Counsellor Kobdo has also been called "Kobdo", covering an area of about 400,000 square kilometers.

After the Wuchang Uprising in the third year of Xuantong (1911), Jebtsundamba declared the independence of Outer Mongolia under the instigation of Tsarist Russia, and sent the Black Lama Danbi Gyaltsen and others to lead troops westward into Uriya Sutai and Kobdo. Thanbi Gyaltsen was a legendary figure who was active in Outer Mongolia, Inner Mongolia and Gansu in China in the early 20th century. Because he always presents himself as a lama, he is also called a black lama or a false lama. He claimed to be a Russian-born Mongol, and the Russian consulate in Kulen certified him as a Russian citizen, but he had been engaged in activities in China against Chinese rule and for Mongolian independence.

Claiming to be a messenger sent from heaven to liberate the Mongols from the Chinese, Danbi Gyaltsen spared no effort to advocate Mongolian independence, and the epileptic seizures of the Outer Mongolian tribes Zasak (official name, meaning "consul" in Mongolian) also responded. Only Durbot Khan Galzhang Namzil of Kobdo was loyal to the Qing Dynasty, and he still listened to Pu?, the counsellor of Kobdo. Temperance.

In May 1912, Danbi Gyaltsen led more than 5,000 troops of the Kulen "Independence" Army, with the support of Tsarist Russia, to unite Haishan and Magsarzhav to attack Kobdo. At that time, the city of Kobdo had only more than 300 defenders. The Beiyang government telegraphed to Yang Zengxin, the governor of Xinjiang, to send troops to the rescue, but the Xinjiang reinforcements were delayed due to Russian obstruction and other reasons, resulting in hundreds of defenders trapped in the isolated city. Three months later, the Outer Mongolian army finally captured the city of Kobdo, which had no food and grass inside and no rescue soldiers outside, and expelled the last Khovdor Counselor Pu??, the old city of Kobdo was also burned down by the Outer Mongolian army.

Soon the whole of Kobdo fell.

Tengbi Gyaltsen hated China very much, and treated Chinese captives with great cruelty, once cut the prisoners' chests with a dagger, reached into the chest cavity with his own hands, extracted hearts, and then used these hearts to mix with the captives' brains and blood, and sacrificed to Tibetan Buddhist gods. β€”β€”is such a person, because of his "meritorious" independence from Outer Mongolia, he was named a living Buddha by Jebtsundamba and became a military ruler of western Outer Mongolia.

It was precisely because of Danbi Gyaltsen's criminal deeds that Sun Yuanqi did not hesitate to list the city of Kobdo as the key target of this attack, and vowed to blow up the hiding place of Danbi Gyaltsen into a rotten fritter.

At about 1 p.m. on February 1, 1913, when the dignitaries were drinking and having fun, two bombers, guided by reconnaissance planes, flew over the city of Kobdo and dropped eight huge gasoline incendiary bombs at the city lord's palace, the residence of Tambi Gyaltsen, the military camp and other places, turning these places into a sea of fire in an instant.

At about 1 p.m. on February 2, 1913, two bombers returned to the city of Kobdor after bombing Uriya Sutai to bomb the remaining military sites. However, this time the effect was obviously not as outstanding as the last time, as soon as the prince and lama of Kobdo City heard the sound of the "buzzing" plane, like a frightened rabbit, he immediately jumped on his fast horse and galloped out of the city. From the sky, the city of Kobdo looks like a hornet's nest that has been stabbed, and whether it is a living Buddha lama or a beggar, they are desperately trying to stay away from this city of disaster.

At about 1 p.m. on February 3, 1913, after intimidating Cullen, two bombers again came to the city of Kobdo to carry out routine bombing. This time, however, each plane only carried two incendiary bombs, as the city of Kobdor had become an uninhabited ghost town by this time. In addition to incendiary bombs, the planes carried more propaganda leaflets, in which Sun Yuanqi made it clear that unless Tanbi Gyaltsen fled abroad, there would be a continuous and unrestricted bombardment of his hiding place.

But no one knew where Tambi Gyaltsen was, and he never reappeared since. The vast majority of historians speculate that he died in the bombing on the first day, but this suspicion cannot be confirmed, because most of those who knew Dambi Gyaltsen had already died in the bombing, and the few who knew about him fled in fear of being implicated, and no one was willing to testify. As a result, the life and death of Danbi Gyaltsen has become a historical mystery.

As a victim of Sun Yuan's thunderous punishment, I don't know whether the effect of the bombing was too shocking, which caused the Kulen authorities to lose their voice, or whether the news of the protest has not yet reached Beijing due to the vast territory and inconvenient transportation of Outer Mongolia, or the leaflets scattered in Kulen were so deterrent that Jebtsundamba was frightened that he kept silent.

Yuan Shikai has always been well-informed, whether it is Sun Yuanqi sending bombers or sending troops from four provinces and three routes, he must know everything well. However, he has long been dissatisfied with Outer Mongolia, but he did not send troops for various reasons, this time Sun Yuanqi did it for him, and he beat Zhebu Zundamba dizzy, or learn from Lei Feng to do good deeds without leaving a name, and his heart is as happy as if he had just finished killing chickens. How could he take the initiative to poke it out on his own?

The embassies of Britain, the United States, and Japan may know some clues, but they will never take the initiative to stand up for Tsarist Russia or Outer Mongolia.

So it was the Russians who jumped out in the end.

The Russian minister to China, Kupensky, soon killed Russian nationals and diplomats and harmed Russia's interests in Outer Mongolia, and angrily lodged a serious protest with Yuan Shikai and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, demanding huge compensation, claiming that if the Chinese government did not reply within 24 hours, it would bear all the consequences.

As a veteran diplomat, Foreign Minister Lu Zhengxiang said solemnly: "Our government regrets the death of your country's overseas Chinese and diplomatic personnel and the loss of interests caused.

"It's not in China, it's in Outer Mongolia!" Kupensky corrected.

Lu Zhengxiang said: "May I ask Your Excellency, is Outer Mongolia a part of China?" ”

"According to the six conditions for Sino-Russian negotiations put forward in December last year, Mongolia was a sovereign state before the two countries signed a treaty, so it is not part of China now." Kupensky argued on the basis of "reason".

"In that case, then Lu and His Excellency the Minister will have a good discussion on the issue of Outer Mongolia!" In the past, every time Lu Zhengxiang went to Kupensky to discuss the cancellation of the "Russian-Mongolian Entente", he had a tough attitude and refused to answer, and even simply avoided it, and this opportunity to be sent to the door Lu Zhengxiang naturally had to grasp it well, "When it comes to the six conditions for Sino-Russian negotiations, we must start with the "Russian-Mongolian Entente." Your country signed the Russian-Mongolian Entente with Kulen without authorization......"

"......" Kupensky had no choice but to debate the status of Outer Mongolia with Lu Zhengxiang with black lines. (To be continued.)
