We're focusing here on the controllable creatures of the Shadow Realm.

When these shadow creatures descend into our world, they will desperately need a host, and the shadow creatures can attach themselves to any creature (the creature must be large enough) and occupy the creature as a carrier, in the process, the shadow creature will try to assimilate and destroy the creature's original will.

If the host's mental power is strong enough, it can resist the assimilation and control of the shadow creature, and even control and enslave this shadow creature in turn.

It should be noted that when the shadow creature fails to invade, it usually chooses to escape, and when the shadow creature enters the host, if the host is exposed to strong light, the shadow creature will not be able to escape, so if a shadow mage wants to control a shadow creature, he should enter the range of light as soon as the shadow creature enters the body, so that he can have enough time to enslave and control the shadow creature.
