Chapter One Hundred and One: So what the hell is a criminal
The light is not very bright, the air is slightly cold and a little dry, and people will always feel thirsty at this time. Graves licked his milk-stained lips, which he seemed to love. This is the mail office in Picheng, and the flow of people in the early morning is not large, so it will be more convenient to send some things at this time.
Walking through the door, Graves gestured to the staff, sat down at the formalities, picked up the paper and pen on the edge of the table, and bowed his head to write. His handwriting was not as vicious as he looked, it was a kind of note-taking with force, and every stroke was very thick, and every word was distinctly angular.
After writing the letter, Graves stuffed it into an envelope, and the address on the outside read, Bilgewater Orphanage.
Bilgewater, this name may not be familiar to some people, but it does have another name that is widely spread on the mainland, and that is the pirate home, Blue Flame Island. Blue Flame Island is actually a misnomer name, but in fact Blue Flame Island is the collective name for three separate islands off the eastern coast of Bandel City on the Valoran mainland. During the Third War of Runecraft, the island was torn to pieces by the devastating magical forces unleashed by one of the biggest wars. An oversized rare metal bomb with a high degree of instability attached to it landed on the island, causing it to explode. The subsequent explosion not only wiped out the island's garrison, but the heat from the explosion melted everything and added a layer of shell to the island. Magic mixes into the magma and shoots out from the shattered surface of the earth.
Bilgewater is an extension of Blue Flame Island that was not discovered until eighty years ago. Located on the largest of the three islands, it has a large and easily defended natural harbour facing the eastern coast. The largest island in the three-island chain remains the most solid. Bilgewater could be expanded to become a true city-state. The town could not be a political entity, as it was a refuge for Valoran's already established kingdoms. Political and geographical circumstances eventually made it a refuge for pirates, and developed into one of Runeterra's most lawless maritime smuggling centers. Countless pirates have anchored in Bilgewater. The arrival of countless pirates in the waters of Runeterramine has also transformed the city into an unofficial trading center, where you can find all kinds of rare items, including contraband, of course.
It was a real place outside the law, a refuge for pirates, where chaos, violence, pornography, gore were everywhere, and in Graves's view, it was a rather filthy place. He grew up there, and he understands the cruelty of life there.
It's hard to imagine an orphanage in the middle of a group of pirate taverns in a place like that.
Graves thought about it, and put three purple gold coins in the envelope, that is, three hundred gold coins, which is a considerable amount of wealth, and the image is equivalent to three million RMB on the earth.
The Bilgewater Orphanage, which didn't exist a few decades ago, was founded by Graves. He was abandoned in Bilgewater, he couldn't remember which big rough hand picked him up, and poured milk mixed with spirits into his mouth, after which he spent his childhood in that messy place. The first money he swindled was sent back to Bilgewater, where he hired someone to build the orphanage.
In his words: Bilgewater, it's a disgusting place, but at least, there should be a clean place for the little ones to live.
Sealing the envelope, Graves handed it to the receptionist and handed him three silver coins: "You know, send this letter where it belongs." β
"Of course, sir." The receptionist didn't see the purple gold coin that Graves put in the envelope, otherwise he couldn't have been so calm, smiled and took Greyfus's silver coin, and accepted the envelope.

MD, An Chen sat at the table with a gloomy face, on the table, four or five small wine glasses were neatly arranged, and the wine in them had been drunk. Yesterday I found Graves' tavern, it was already ten noon, and there was a fire burning in the tavern, at least it wasn't very cold. A thin layer of fog rose on the window because of the temperature, so that Anchen couldn't see the scenery outside the window clearly, and could only see hazy figures walking by the roadside outside the window one after another.
Yesterday when she asked Graves to come to her, she forgot to tell Graves the time and had no choice but to sit and wait, hoping he would come.
Annoying, Anchen lay on the table depressedly: "Waiter, a glass of sweet wine, thank you." β
The waiter walked over, put down a glass of sweet wine, looked at An Chen buried his face in his arm, looked loveless, and said pityingly: "Sir, you have been here for a morning, look at it, some things always have to be accepted." In his opinion, Anchen was simply a poor man who had been released from the pigeons.
"I said," Anchen glanced at the waiter with gloomy dead fish eyes, "Why do I always think you're saying something very rude." β
"Hey, man, let's be free." Saying that, the waiter patted An Chen's shoulder, looked at An Chen with an indescribable look, sighed, and turned to leave.
An Chen also turned his head, looking at the colorless sweet wine in the wine glass, and always felt that he was underestimated or something, was it an illusionΒ·Β·Β·Β·Β·Β·
"Dangchang."
The door to the tavern was pushed open, the bell that hung on the door rang, and a dull step stepped into the door of the tavern.
Graves looked around and saw a man in a black cloak sitting by the window, lying lifeless on the table. He raised an eyebrow and walked over.
"Waited a long time?" Graves walked over to Anchen and said, then untied the shotgun from his back and placed it on the table.
Anchen glanced at Graves, she already knew that he was coming when he entered the door, and slowly got up and said, "It's that I didn't tell you the time." β
"A glass of milk." Graves said to the bartender who came forward, and then looked at Anchen again: "No matter how much I can take, I want sixty percent." β
An Chen frowned slightly, but after thinking for a while, he shook his head: "Impossible, the plan is mine, and I am the one who is looking for you to do this work, why are you sixty percent." β
Graves stared into Anchen's eyes for a long time.
He stepped back, his beard shaking, "If you agree, I won't do it." Because although this request seems reasonable, after all, it is Anchen who asked Greys for help, but it is actually very unreasonable, if the thief agrees, then he is likely to have other plans.
Saying that, Graves came up again, looking at Anchen's face under the hood: "No matter how much we can get, as long as we succeed, I only need 10,000 gold coins, and I need to use this money to have a gamble." β
