Chapter 13: Battle Song Fortress (13)

Garrosh Hellroar, a young Maghan, an orc who has never been tainted by demonic blood. Pen? Interesting? Pavilion wWw. biquge。 At this moment, he was staying in the battle command room in the Warsong Fortress, looking at the strategic sand table under his feet in the slightly dim firelight.

He is now the High Overseer of the Horde Expeditionary Force, commanding all of the Horde's wars against Northrend. And the enemies he has to face are the notorious, or rather famous, Lich King, and his slaves, the Scourge Legion.

He was born in Draenor, which has been shattered into an Outland, his father was Grom Hellroar, the first orc to drink the blood of a demon named Abyssal Lord Manolos, and it was also from his father that the entire Orc of Draenor was corrupted by the darkness and controlled by the demon. This led to the war between the two worlds and the destruction of Draenor.

When he was a child, because of what his father did, Garrosh lived in his father's shadow all the time. Looking at the shattered world, looking at the depleting resources of life, in the outer lands of Nagrand, Garrosh has always been ashamed of his people because of his father's actions.

Until the Dark Gate opens again, and on the other side of the door, an orc chieftain named Thrall returns to the orc's shattered homeland in the expeditionary force. Brings Garrosh a new story, the story of his father's final death.

On the other side of the door, the Great Chieftain of the restored tribe of the world of Azeroth was the orc who had taken over the burden of the Upper Chieftain. In that world, all the orcs were saved and the tribe was re-established. And Thrall also brought his father, Grum Hellroar, the final elegy.

The first orc to drink the blood of demons, in a valley southeast of a place called Ash Valley, fought the last battle of his life with his life.

A battle with the terrible Lord of the Abyss, Manolos.

Thrall recounted the battle in detail, and a desperate Grom slashed into the chest of the demon that had corrupted the entire orc race with a bloody roar. In the flames of destruction, the patriarch of the Warsong clan, who was once stained with sins and once led his people to the abyss, redeemed himself and all the orcs who were tortured by the blood of demons with his life.

After that, Garrosh followed Thrall to the other side of the door, the world called Azeroth, to the valley, to his father's tombstone. On it is written an epitaph written by Sal himself:

Here rests Grom Hellroar, chief of the Warsong Clan.

The beginning and the end of the curse of our nation are closely related to it.

His name means "Giant's Heart" in our ancient saying, and he lives up to his name!

His giant body towered before Malones like an iron tower, and he won us freedom and glory with his blood.

Hats off to you! My brother, may the war song never die.

- The chief of the Saar tribe

Together, his father and Thrall founded the city of Orgrimmar, which became his new home when he came to Azeroth, and he, Garrosh's battle axe, would protect the people in order to protect Orgrimmar, just as his father had done in the end.

However, over time, Garrosh discovered that there was a huge disagreement between him and Thrall. Thrall longed for peace, to cut off the hatred between humans and orcs, not to get the tribe involved in war again.

But Garrosh was dismissive of this. Just like wolves, wolves of different races will fight each other in order to compete for living space, and only by completely exterminating the other party can they gain control of the hunting grounds. Just like the current Alliance and the Horde, if the Horde wants to survive in Azeroth, the only way for the Horde to survive is to wipe out the Alliance once and for all. One pack of wolves will not be allowed, and another powerful pack of wolves lives in their hunting grounds.

Garrosh, who has seen a lot of this kind of natural selection in Nagrand, is more inclined to destroy the Alliance. However, Thrall disagreed, not wanting to bring his clan and allies into the war again, and for this reason, the two often quarreled over this.

Regardless, Garrosh still respects Thrall, not only because he brought news of his father, but also because Thrall is the great chief of the tribe. In the orc tradition, both shamans and chieftains were the objects of reverence of the orcs of the tribe.

That's why, when he was in Saimorrah, Garrosh was so angry after the attack, thinking that it was a conspiracy of the alliance to get rid of Thrall, who was leading the tribe to revival. But, even so, Thrall was reluctant to provoke another war. Thrall was so cautious that he didn't even care about his own safety, and only wanted to negotiate with the Alliance, with a woman of the extreme race who had created the rebel prince in the first place, and now the Lich King, Garrosh would never let this happen.

This, in his opinion, was a disgrace to the tribe and to Thrall himself.

The Horde does not need to compromise with the enemy, and the Horde is not afraid of war.

Enraged, Garrosh launched Makogora against Thrall in order to force him to act, right in the arena. For the first time, Garrosh felt the power of Thrall, the great chieftain known for his wisdom, far more courageous than many orc warriors. Had it not been for the Lich King's undead army attacking after that, interrupting the duel, Garrosh didn't know how long he would have been able to hold out at the hands of an enraged Thrall.

Looking back, Garrosh knew how thankful he was that the duel had been interrupted, even though he would rather die than admit it. But regardless of the outcome, Thrall finally got things to work out and gave the order for an expedition to Northrend, an order that Garrosh was pleased with and looked forward to. However, to Garrosh's surprise, Thrall actually appointed him before the expedition, Garrosh Hellroar, as the supreme commander of the Horde Expeditionary Force, to lead the Horde army against the Lich King.

And King Sarufar, who he thought would be the commander, became his assistant, the adjutant. When he heard the news, Garrosh felt a weight he had never felt before, the pressure of the entire tribe's army on his shoulders. Either the Lich King and the Scourge are defeated once and for all, or the Horde faces destruction.

Under pressure, Garrosh finally put all his energy into facing this war, a war that he could not lose, and the tribe could not lose. When Warsong Fortress towered over the Borean tundra, Garrosh finally stood confident that the Horde would lead him to conquer the frozen world, and that the Horde's army would crush the Scourge legions.

"The Banshee King, good news, Grosh (Garrosh)!" Lord Sarufar, a venerable old orc, walked up to Garrosh and spoke to him. "The army of the Forsaken has established a stronghold in the Howling Fjord, and has also breached the fortress of Utgard with the Alliance."

"Why, the victory of the tribe, there will be those dregs of the alliance to share the glory!" Garrosh said dissatisfied. "What is that woman doing?"

"In any case, Grosh (Garrosh), now we have only one goal......" Sarufar looked at Garrosh solemnly, and said, "At this time, no matter what conflicts we have with the Alliance, we must let go, the Lich King is our common enemy......"

"Yes, yes, I know!" "At least before crushing the Frozen Throne...... Garrosh set his sights on adding the huge Northrend sandbox, a high-level item bought from the goblins that was much more detailed than the map the tribe possessed.

"Those Viku people who slept so hard that their bones were weak that it was impossible to stop the power of the tribe."

"It's a big bargain picked up by that woman and his admirers!"

"But the real trouble for the Scourge is with us!"
