K-1 Rules
Most of the current international kickboxing competitions follow the Japanese K-1 rules, and some countries and regions have also made appropriate adjustments when introducing them to meet the needs of the organization. The Pen&Fun&Ge www.biquge.infoK-1 rule is an internationally recognized rule!
Article 1
The competition venue is 7.2X7.2 square meters, and there are 4 ropes
Article 2
Competitors are required to wear gloves that comply with the regulations provided by the organizers, and must wear crotch and mouth guards. Do not wear foot pads, shin pads, or knee pads. Do not wear contact lenses. The rules for the use of gloves at each level are as follows:
Flyweight Class: 6oz (oz) under 50.80kg (oz)
Bantamweight 53.50kg and less than 6oz
Featherweight 57.15kg and 6oz under
Lightweight 61.23kg or less 8oz
Light and middleweight 66.68kg or less 8oz
The middleweight class is 72.57kg and 8oz below
Heavy and middleweight 76.20kg or less 10oz
Sub-heavyweight 79.38kg or less 10oz
Light heavyweight 86.18kg or less 10oz
Heavyweight 86.18kg and 10oz
Article 3
Here's how the competition works:
1. The competition is in principle
a. A single match is 3 minutes per round, a total of 5 rounds, or 3 points and 3 rounds
b. The knockout round is 3 points and 3 rounds, and there are also 3 points and 5 rounds. For the safety of the players, the total number of rounds in a day cannot exceed 15 rounds
2. In the process of counting the seconds during the knockdown, when it is time to end the first round, it will be handled as follows:
a. Except for the final round, even if the timekeeper signals the end of the round, the referee must continue to count the seconds until 10 and judge the KO
b. During the final round, even if the second count is in progress, the timekeeper will signal the end of the round, and the game will end (only for the final round)
Article 4
The score of the competition will be evaluated and calculated on the basis of the following items:
1. Accurate and effective strikes made through effective techniques such as punches and kicks are confirmed and judged according to whether there is corresponding damage
2. The order of scoring priority is as follows:
a. Number of knockdowns
b. Whether or not the opponent has been harmed
c. CleanHit times
d. Score is calculated according to offensive enthusiasm, and usually the advantage can get 10 points deducted from the inferior side
Article 5
The breakdown of the competition is as follows:
1. In the event that the winner cannot be determined by a knockout, technical knockout, or disqualification (disqualification), the decision will depend on the decision of the three judges. At the end of the final round, the points awarded by each judge will be counted, and the team with the most points will win, or the winner will be decided by the agreement of two or more judges. In addition, a tie was awarded
2. Tie
a. Circumstances in which the winner cannot be determined according to the judging criteria
b. Both fell to the ground at the same time, and they still couldn't get up after reading to 9
3. Knock down
a. Unable to get up within 10 seconds after falling to the ground
b. Although I can get up within 10 seconds, I am judged to have no fighting spirit
c. If you are knocked down 3 times in 1 round (2 times in the knockout round, except for the tiebreaker).
4. Technical knockdown
a. If the referee determines that the game cannot continue due to an injury (caused by both parties unintentionally and accidentally). However, it shall be in accordance with article 12
b. The situation when the assistant puts in the towel during the game. If the referee does not notice this, the Ombudsman may give a signal that the match is over
c. Referee termination: The referee judges that one player has an obvious advantage, while the inferior side is in a dangerous situation
d. Doctor's termination: The doctor determines that a player is injured or cannot continue the game due to serious injury. Especially in the case of a fighter being knocked to the ground with a heavy blow, the conference doctor can make a signal of the end of the round through consultation
5. Invalid matches
a. A game in which both players have violated the regulations, a fake game or a game that has been judged to be a water release
b. Despite repeated reminders and warnings from the referee, both parties are still unable to actively fight, and the referee declares both parties disqualified
c. In a single match, the player cannot continue the game due to injuries caused by both parties, and the match round is not established (according to Article 12, Paragraph 3, 1)
Article 6
Playoff (Knockout Match Only): In the event of a tie in accordance with Article 5, Paragraph 2, if the winner must be decided in the Knockout Round, an Extended-off match will be played
1. The knockout round is usually 3 points and 3 rounds (or 5 rounds), and when the result of the 3 (or 5) rounds is a tie, a 3-minute extended battle will be played for 1 round, and then the decision will be made
2. When the 4th (or 6th) round extension is still a draw, the last round of the 3-minute extension will be played. If the round is still a draw, the entire process from the first leg onwards will be taken into account, even if there are only minor differences
Article 7
Effective Skills: During the competition, the following skills are valid skills:
Boxing: straight punch, hook box, upper punch, reverse back punch, hook box
Footwork: Front kicks, low kicks, middle kicks, high kicks, side kicks, back kicks, inside thigh (to the inner thighs) kicks, flying kicks, knees
However, with regard to the back, the following restrictions are applied:
1. It is limited to the wrist bending part of the glove and above is the effective striking part
2. In the event that an opponent is injured by an accident other than the effective strike site during the match, Paragraph 3 of Article 12 shall apply
Article 8
Foul tricks
1. The following skills are judged as fouls in the game. The referee may give reminders, warnings and deduct points for fouls. In the initial reminder, the accumulation of 2 times counts as a warning, and the warning is given directly after that. 1 point will be deducted for every 2 warnings, and 3 points will be deducted for 1 round. However, this does not apply when the adjudicator determines that there is an irresistible reason for the foul play
a. Headbutt attack
b. Elbow strike
c. Attack **** (Regarding knee collision and boxing, the attack on the part below the belt line is judged as a LowBlow foul)
d. Use throwing skills such as wrestling and judo, and joint skills
e. Finger cutting, choking and biting
f. Attack the opponent who is falling to the ground or getting up
g. Attacking the opponent when the referee orders to separate
h. Grab the rope for attack or defense
i. Speaking insulting or offensive words to the opponent or referee
j. Punch the back of the head (the back of the head is directly behind the fingers, the side and around the ears are not counted as the back of the head)
k. Deliberately causing the opponent to fall out of the ring
l. Walk outside the ring by yourself
2. If the jury finds that the circumstances are heinous, points may be deducted immediately
3. The behavior of repeatedly bowing your head and rushing into the arms of your opponent should be reminded because it is easy to cause impact (Butting--boxing refers to the head collision of the two players). If the impact causes a player to bleed, 1 point will be deducted for the other team, even if it is accidental. 2 points will be deducted if the referee determines that it was intentional. No points will be deducted as an offset when both sides are bleeding
4. Repeated leg hugging and hugging without accompanying attacks will be judged to be negative and points may be deducted
5. If the player rarely attacks or fights back, it will be judged as negative, and can also be reminded and points deducted
6. Holding the opponent's leg is not considered a foul, and the attack made by holding the leg is limited to one punch or kick is considered effective. However, it is a foul to make a continuous attack with a leg. In the stalemate of holding the leg without making any attack, the referee shall order the separation. Leg hugging is a foul
Article 9
Disqualification: A player will be disqualified from the competition in the following cases
1. Intentional foul shall be declared disqualified by the referee
2. Disobey the referee's instructions during the competition
3. Late or non-play
4. Rough manners and bad game attitude
5. Judged by the referee to have no will to fight
6. 1 point will be deducted for every 2 warnings, and 3 points will be deducted for 1 round
7. After being diagnosed by the doctor of the conference, the result is that he cannot play
8. During the round, the assistant enters the ring and touches the player
9. Other violations of the rules of the competition
Article 10
When a player has a clear advantage, the referee does not have to wait until the end of the match to decide the winner. In accordance with Article 5, paragraph 4 (d).
Article 11
In the event of an injury, the decision to continue the competition is made through consultation between the doctors and the judges. In this case, the doctor does not treat the injured area during the game
Article 12
If a player is unable to continue the race due to injury, the winner will be determined according to the following:
(1) If the opponent is injured due to a foul, the referee observes the injured player for a period of time, and if the player still cannot recover and the game cannot continue, the offender will be judged to be negative (the offender is disqualified)
(2) If the player is injured due to his own negligence, the injured person shall be judged to be liable (the injured person is disqualified)
(3) Injuries caused by the incidental nature of both parties
1. When the competition is not established (5R system competition, the competition is established at the end of 2R; 3R system competition, 1R end of the competition is established)
a. Knockout round: The player who can continue the game wins
b. Single match: Invalid match
2. When the match is established, the score of the round that has been established is calculated. The team with the leading score wins. If you are injured after the 3rd R (after the 2nd R in the case of a knockout round), the demerit points from that round to the time when the injury occurred must be counted. In the case of a tie:
a. Knockout round: The player who can continue the game wins
b. Single match: Judgment is a draw
3. However, in the knockout round, if the player with the leading number of points cannot continue the game, the losing player can get the right to continue to participate in the game
Article 13
Contestants and the person in charge of the group to which they belong shall not object to the judges' announcement or decision. However, a written appeal may be lodged with the Rules Committee within two weeks of the end of the General Assembly
Article 14
Knock down the countdown
1. The so-called knockdown refers to the situation in which the player is injured by the attack, and the part other than the sole of the foot touches the ground
2. Even if the player is not injured, the player is not able to get up quickly after falling
3. If the referee judges that the situation is dangerous if the player continues to be attacked, the referee will pronounce a knockdown even if the player does not fall to the ground.
4. The knockdown countdown starts with the referee's "down" command and gesture. After the referee issued the "down" command, the MC (?? Knockdown counts are made based on the number of seconds correctly calculated by the recorder's stopwatch. Only the referee can give the "down" command
5. The knockdown player must stand by at the neutral rope corner until the referee gives instructions
6. If the knockdown player does not obey the above instructions, the referee shall interrupt the countdown and confirm that the player has moved to the neutral rope corner before continuing to count
Article 15
aides
1. The player should have 1 main assistant and 2 deputy assistants, and a total of 3 people should be on standby on the side of the ring
2. 3 assistants must be on standby in a designated place during the round
3. The only person who can give instructions to the players in the round is the main assistant
4. The assistant should not touch any place in the ring such as the rope and the table outside the rope during the round
5. During the break, there can only be 1 assistant who enters the ring
6. The assistant cannot enter the ring or touch the player's body during the round, according to Article 9, Paragraph 8
7. Towels and other objects cannot be placed around the corners of each rope on the boxing ring
8. After the order to "leave the ring" is issued, the assistant must leave the ring immediately
9. When the assistant does not comply with the above regulations, the referee shall give him a reminder. From the second reminder, a yellow card will be given each time, and when the yellow card is reminded 3 times, it will automatically turn into a red card, and the assistant must leave the playing field
Article 16
Dress code
1. Players must wear clean and neat clothing when participating in the opening ceremony, etc
2. The three assistants should be uniformly dressed and are obliged to wear the same team uniform as the players. T-shirts and jeans are not allowed. However, it is okay for a T-shirt to be used as a uniform uniform
3. Contestants are free to choose their own attire, subject to Clauses 2, 17 and 19
Article 17
About handguards, bandages and adhesive tapes. Players are not allowed to wear anything other than hand bandages and adhesive bandages on their hands. Contestants must use the bandages and duct bandages provided by the organizer and are not allowed to use their own. When a player wraps a bandage, he or she must go to the competition venue to collect and use it. It is not allowed to wrap bandages before entering the venue. The bandages and adhesive bandages provided by the organizers can only be used on the fists, and no other wraps are provided. The pestering must be inspected and signed by a judge
Article 18
Rules for the use of bandages
In order to protect the fist part, the fighter can use a minimum of bandages, and no more punches except bandages and adhesive bandages. "Minimum" here refers to the scope of the judge's permission regarding bandages and adhesive bandages
Article 19
In addition to the bandages and adhesive bandages that are commonly used, players should not use rubber, plastic, or other protective materials on the grounds that they need to protect their wounds when they are injured. Gauze bandages and stretchable bandages are allowed when wrapping wounds, but they must be examined and signed by a doctor and a jury. In the absence of a signature certifying that the checks have been made, the player must remove the bandage. In this case, the organizer and the doctor will not provide any protective equipment. It is forbidden to wrap the wound after the start of the match
Article 20
Glove check
Competitors are required to undergo a glove inspection before putting on the gloves, and after they are put on and sealed, the inspector signs the gloves seal. After the inspection, the gloves cannot be removed until the end of the fight. If the gloves are found to have been unsealed, the fighters must undergo a glove inspection again
Article 21
About mouthguards
In the event that a mouthguard falls from a player's mouth during the match, the referee should pick it up and return it to the corner of the rope where the player is after the round
Article 22
In order to enhance the authority of K-1 and ensure the fairness of the competition, players are obligated to undergo a drug test if requested by the organizer. If the result of the test is a drug reaction, the prize money of the player in the tournament will be forfeited
Article 23
physical examination
Competitors are required to undergo a medical examination by a conference doctor prior to the competition. In the knockout round, the winner is obliged to undergo another medical examination after the match
Article 24
Regarding the treatment of injuries sustained by players
1. The doctor of the conference cannot treat the contestants during the competition. In accordance with Article 11
2. The assistant is also not allowed to treat the player's injury during the round
3. Even when resting, it is not allowed to treat the injured area. In accordance with Article 19
Article 25
About the situation where the fighter fell outside the ring
When a fighter falls outside the ring, the bout is suspended and examined by a doctor. At the same time, the judging panel discussed the reasons for the fall:
1. When it is judged to be a valid skill that causes a knockdown
a. If the fight can continue: Knockout 1 will be counted and the fight will continue from the time it stopped
b. If the match cannot be continued: the doctor will terminate and be judged as a technical knockout
2. When it is judged to be a non-knockout
a. If the game can be continued: The game will continue from the time it was stopped
b. Injuries caused by incidental injuries between the parties shall be subject to paragraph 3 of Article 12
Article 26
