Chapter 6: Back to the beginning
A gate to space?
Riptide Fort 2,800 years ago?
Initial Arcane training?
Could it be......
Sean's eyes slowly lit up, and he had the urge to dance.
The beginning of arcane magic, from the source, should be the Titan.
Light and shadow, arcane and evil, nature and the undead.
Of the six foundations that make up this world, Arcane is represented by Titans.
But from the continent of Azeroth, it should be the Night Elves.
The original Azeroth was the world of trolls.
With the exception of a few who pursued knowledge and truth, most trolls practiced voodoo, which belonged to the category of dark magic, until one day, the Well of Eternity appeared.
The trolls soon discover the mysteries of the Well of Eternity. The dark trolls, obsessed with this momentous discovery, have settled on the shores of the lake of the Well of Eternity.
The energy emanating from the lake bathed the trolls and even altered their bodies to make them worthy of their noble souls. The trolls have become a group of sapient, almost immortal creatures, abandoning ancient customs and traditions.
The mystics of the tribe began to worship the moon goddess Elune, believing her to be closely connected to the Well of Eternity, and claiming that the goddess slept deep at the bottom of the well during the day. They began to call themselves "Night Elves", distinguishing themselves from other trolls.
Under the influence of the Well of Eternity, the Night Elves transformed into a noble race, and in the following centuries and even millennia, the Night Elves were led by a great ruler, Queen Azhara, to the pinnacle of the Empire, and she would lead her people to unprecedented glory...... But the seeds of its destruction were sown.
Those long-lived Night Elves possess very powerful arcane magic and a wealth of arcane knowledge.
In antiquity, Azeroth's powerful arcane energy fluctuations attracted the attention of the Dark Titan Sargeras. Sargeras then led the Burning Legion across the Warped Void and invaded Azeroth.
In an earth-shattering battle, the Well of Eternity, the source of Azeroth's magic, exploded.
Due to the calamities caused by arcane energy, most of the Night Elves gave up magic in favor of practicing the ways of the druids. Only a small number of Night Elves chose to continue their magical studies, leaving their homes and moving to another place, becoming so-called "High Elves".
It wasn't until 2,800 years ago that magic was passed on to humans by the High Elves because of a war that changed history.
This is the original arcane training!
This is the beginning of the arcane law!
And now, Sean's mage transfer mission is to go back 2,800 years and participate in the original arcane training?
Sean's heart was filled with excitement.
In that era of magic ****, a large number of excellent magicians emerged. Using the first, most primitive, and shallow knowledge of the arcane, these magicians were at the forefront of the war between humans, High Elves, and troll empires, using blood and fire to forge history and glory, as well as the magical splendor that would follow for the next 2,800 years.
Because of that initial arcane training, there was the Council of Magoklas, the Magic Kingdom of Dalaran, the Kenrito and Violet, the Council of Tirisfa and the Guardians, the Egwen, and Medivan.
And in that initial arcane training, there was also a legendary magician, the famous necromancer - Merry Winterwind.
If he could go back to that era and participate in that arcane training, then how could Sean not be excited?
However, the excitement can't be eaten, and it took Sean a full seven seconds to calm down and focus on the second playthrough reward.
"Playthrough Reward 2: Wheel of Fortune."
In front of Sean, a large turntable appeared, with a total of six squares, each corresponding to a reward. Turn the wheel and stop to get a reward.
One block is 100 random fortress materials, one block is a small architectural blueprint, and there is a vial of dark green potions, a horn-shaped prop, a scroll that glows green, and a quaint magic book.
100 random fortress supplies, of course, is something that Sean desperately needs. If you get these 100 fortress materials, a third of Sean's Level 1 council hall will come out. This compartment occupies half of the entire turntable.
Small architectural drawings, once obtained, can be used to construct the corresponding building. This slot makes up a quarter of the entire turntable.
I don't know what kind of potion it is, but just by looking at the miserable green light, I know that it is excellent equipment of green quality, one level higher than ordinary equipment of white quality. This slot makes up one-eighth of the entire turntable.
Horns, special props, and excellent equipment for green quality. This grid occupies one-sixteenth of the entire turntable.
The reel, I don't know what type of reel it is, is also excellent equipment of green quality, and this slot accounts for one-thirty-second of the entire turntable.
Magic books, books that record magic. This is no ordinary book, but a book that has been solidified with a lot of magic. With this magic book, mages are able to perform a large amount of magic that they have not yet mastered, which is very useful and very valuable. The price of this magic book is not at all comparable to the "Kobold Shaman's Staff" and the "Dalaran Apprentice Robe", at least it is dozens or hundreds of times the income.
This grid accounts for one-thirty-second of the entire turntable.
Obviously, the value of these six rewards is not the same. The larger the area, the higher the chance of being selected and the lower the value of the representation. The value of the spellbook is probably much higher than the value of 100 random fortress materials.
In Sean's opinion, 100 random fortress resources are the least valuable. Because as long as it takes a certain amount of time, you can get a lot of fortress resources from the real world. What can be easily obtained is usually the least valuable.
Small architectural drawings are of little value to Sean now. After all, even the first-level council hall has not been built, and no matter how many small architectural drawings are obtained, they can only draw cakes to satisfy their hunger.
Green quality potions, I think it's good. However, I don't know what kind of attribute the potion is, and this randomness is too big to determine.
The horn is a very rare special prop. There aren't many things that are famous, but each one is very precious and has a special purpose.
Reels, like flasks, are too random.
Needless to say, the magic book is the most precious of all the rewards, and it is also the one that Sean wants the most.
Sean took a deep breath and flicked the dial.
In his expectant eyes, the turntable spun slower and slower, and finally stopped at a certain grid.
Fate didn't always favor Sean, and he didn't get his hands on the most precious magic books and scrolls.
However, fate did not abandon Sean, and he did not get 100 random fortress supplies.
What he got was that horn of green quality.
And when he saw the introduction of the horn, Sean's eyes lit up with joy.
