Chapter 37: A New Beginning

When Cizer awoke, a soft voice came to his ears.

"Are you awake, how are you feeling, are you feeling unwell?"

Cizer turned his head, and the first thing that flashed in his hazy eyes was a large expanse of green, full of life. It reminded Cizer of the meadow, the smell of the earth mixed with the smell of blood, attracting bloodthirsty ants to come and feed.

It was the breath of death.

Am I dead?

Cizer felt like his body was sinking into a large swamp, sinking and sinking, and the mud around him drowning him.

He tried to break free, but the more he struggled, the faster he sank to the ground, and his thighs and waist were soon over his head.

Didn't you even close your eyes and sleep? Cizer felt the exhaustion of his struggles and wanted to get a good night's sleep, even if it wasn't enough.

But before he could close his eyes, a hurried voice woke him up.

"Hey, wake up, you're not dead yet, don't lie in a hospital bed, okay? There's still a queue in the back!"

Cizer finally sobered up a bit, rubbed his eyes, and finally saw something clearly.

He was lying on a snow-white bed, the air smelling faintly of alcohol, and the setting sun shining through the windows, staining the white sheets with a touch of gold.

The most striking thing was a young girl with emerald green hair, whom Cizer was sure he hadn't seen before, but who he somehow felt familiar.

"Eh, this kid won't be beaten stupid, will I? Shall I have someone throw him out?" the green-haired girl held her chin and looked serious, but the words she said made the corners of Cezel's mouth twitch slightly.

"No, I can walk on my own!" Cizer chose to get out of bed by himself in order to avoid being thrown out.

"Eh, don't move, your injuries aren't healed yet!" the green-haired girl hurriedly pressed Cizer, who had just sat up, back to her feet, and then burst into a rage.

"How can you do this, you have been so badly injured, but you must stay in bed for a few days to get better!" said the green-haired girl seriously, like a dutiful doctor, as if she were not the one who was going to throw Cezel out before.

"Are you a doctor?" Cezel sensed the meaning of the girl's words, which was obviously an unreliable doctor's order! and he could see the girl's white coat, a brass hearing aid around her neck, and a pair of dull glasses.

Isn't that what doctors are looking for?

"Yes, you can see it, what a good eye!" the girl was so happy to hear Cizer call her a doctor. Then, as if she had thought of something, she lifted her sliding glasses and told Cizel Dao.

"By the way, you must not call me a doctor in front of others!

The girl's sudden serious expression stunned Cizer, and then she saw the green-haired girl directly take off her white coat and put it on the chair next to her.

Boom!

Cizer had never seen such a battle, and could only stay there in a daze for a while.

Inside the green-haired girl's coat was a white half-sleeve with an emerald green leaf printed on it, and Cizer remembered seeing this mark, as if there was a flag with this pattern on the flagpole of the martial arts arena.

"This ......" Cezel was about to say something, but was interrupted by a rapid thump.

Soon, Cizer knew where the sound was coming from.

It was a pair of high heels, clanging on the floor, and its owner, Cizer was stunned again.

If the green-haired girl is a budding rose, then the one in front of Cizer is probably a blooming rose.

"Is the little one awake? Do you feel anything uncomfortable? I must tell my sister!" A beautiful woman with long hair and fluttering hair picked up the coat on the chair and put it on, sat down on the side of Cezelle's bed, and listened to Cezelle's heartbeat with her hearing aid.

"Well, it's a powerful heartbeat, it's just faster. The professional judgment made by the long-haired beauty made Cizer blush.

"Raise your arm and show me. Cizer obeyed her commands, not knowing if it was because of her irresistible temperament or for some other reason.

"It's recovering very quickly, and if it goes on like this, I'll almost be able to get out of bed tomorrow. The long-haired beauty looked at Cezel's scabbed wound, a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes, and her self-healing ability was a little surprised.

"What's my sister's name?" Cizer really wanted to slap himself after saying this, didn't the incident of a year ago teach him a lesson? But I don't know why, Cizer's body seemed to have an impulse of its own, and some words spit out before he could think of it.

"Oh, do you want to know?" An inexplicable light flashed on the face of the long-haired beauty, and Cizer suddenly felt as if he had provoked someone he shouldn't have provoked, and the green-haired girl on the side looked at Cizer with a hint of pity in her eyes.

However, contrary to what he imagined, Cizer was not subjected to any inhuman abuse, and the long-haired beauty, after instructing the green-haired girl to change her dressing on time, gave Cezel a strange look, and then went out.

The green-haired girl on the side seemed to be finally freed, holding on to the back of the chair and panting, and pointed a trembling finger at Cezel's nose.

"What's wrong? Look at how nervous you look. Cizer asked, confused.

"What's wrong with you?" the green-haired girl looked at him with hatred, "You're in trouble!

"Doctor!" Cizer said lightly, he had just discovered that the white coat fit the body of the long-haired beauty very well, and it should be tailor-made, and the green-haired girl must have taken advantage of her absence to secretly wear it for fun. So who is the doctor, obviously.

"Hey, don't think she's an ordinary doctor! she's the sister of our legion commander!" said the girl in green, in an extremely exaggerated tone, her hands in a big shape, looking rather funny.

"Well, now I know. But is there any connection between this?" Cizer's salty tone completely angered the girl in green.

"Huh, you'll know when you join the Legion, you'll regret that you didn't beg Lord Arya today!"

"Who is Arya?"

"Arya is Ben-sama!"

"And what was that beautiful woman's name just now?"

"I won't tell you!

"And who's the doctor here?"

"It's Miss Tracey. ”

"Okay, thanks. It just looks like you're not that smart. ”

"How dare you fool me! I'm going to kill you!"

"Well, relax, Lady Triss wants you to take good care of my sick man, and you can't be rough with me...... What are you going to do?"

"I'm going to give you a massage!

"No! I don't want ...... Help!"

In the process of arguing with the little girl, Cizer relaxed his body and mind, and also consumed a lot of physical strength. At this point, his thoughts began to drift away with the wind. He began to think about Monet in Graystone Town, the old Merlin in Helan City, and then thought of Auston and Diablo, who didn't know where they went. It is also not known which regiment they went to.

To be honest, he didn't think Diablo had done anything wrong, he just wanted to prove that he might have done the same thing if he were in the same situation.

It's just that Diablo is really ruthless, and it seems that he will have to improve his strength next time.

Thinking about it, Cizer slowly closed his eyes, and his breath gradually became smooth and long.

He fell asleep.

......

Tracey leaves the hospital and walks to a very remote street corner, where a man is waiting for her.

"He's awake?" Smith's brow furrowed tightly, his eyebrows almost connected, and those who knew him well knew that this was his sign of nervousness.

And Tracey happens to be a very familiar acquaintance.

"I've rarely seen you care so much about someone, and to say that he has nothing to do with you, that stupid sister of mine will believe it, but I won't. Tracey looked carefully at every subtle expression on Smith's face, then smiled mysteriously.

"I see......" Tracey looked at him with an interested look.

"You know...... What?" Smith's heart pounded, he didn't know if anyone else knew what happened to him in the imperial capital back then, and whether he would think of the truth of the matter. But he was in too much of a hurry, and he wanted to protect the child at all costs, which was already the result of his best efforts to restrain himself.

He ...... It won't be yours...... Bastard, huh?" Tris slowly spoke her guess, her eyes fixed on Smith's face to see some secret.

"What!?oh, of course not. Smith was stunned for a moment when he heard this, and then showed a crying and laughing expression, looking at Tracey who exuded mature charm in front of him, but he remembered the little girl who liked to play tricks on people back then.

"Alas, don't guess. It's not what you think, I asked your sister to take care of him because he is the child of my comrade-in-arms. Smith raised his hand and stroked the top of Tracey's head, as if an elder was comforting a child who had done something wrong.

"Well, I'll trust you, but if you dare to lie to me. "It's rare for Tracey to be coquettish in front ......of others, and that's Smith, the person most likely to be her brother-in-law."

"Okay, go back early, your sister will be worried. Smith put his hand down and picked up the coat that was slung over the crook of his arm.

"By the way, say hello to your sister for me, thank her for this incident. ”

Tris gave him a big roll of the eyes, "I really don't know what you two think, it's been several years, isn't it good to be together?"

Smith smirked, only said, "You don't understand adult things," and then quickly left.

Tracy stared at his back for a long time, slowly spitting out two words.

"Liar!"
