The novel sets the city with three main arrow towers, and the secondary arrow towers can increase with the increase in the size of the city (urban buildings, urban population).

In siege battles, when you know advanced ballistics, the first target is the left and right arrow towers, then there is a 20% chance of hitting, while the city gate is 40%, and the main arrow tower is 10%. But the second shot thrown is random, calculated according to the hit rate above. If the preferred target is the city gate, the hit rate will be almost 100% after two shots.

In the novel, the defense of the city wall is greatly increased, and if you give a value, the health is greater than 100. Classes can attack the city gate, set the city gate life to 10,000, defense 20, and stack hero attack and defense. Catapults attack the city gate - exactly, the city gate tower, life is 150 points, the city gate tower is not the same as the city gate!

3. The city wall does not block the bow and arrow, breaking the city wall only allows your troops to pass, the pillars, gates, and sub-city arrows on the city wall will halve the damage of the bow and arrow, and the pillar is unbreakable, therefore, when the city is not broken, the damage of your ranged troops may not be halved (the arrow passes through the city wall and is not blocked by the pillar), and after the city is broken, the damage of your ranged troops may still be halved.

If there were troops or corpses of troops staying in the box in front of the gates, the gates would not fall.

7. Heroes

1. Personally, I feel that the hero is too rebellious in the game, so I changed it to reduce the offensive and defensive attributes that the hero adds to the class by half.

For example, in the game of Minotaur, 15 offense and 15 defense are 50 HP.

The attributes of the minotaurs in the novel are all different, but they all fluctuate up and down at a certain value. For example, the Minotaur will fluctuate around 15 (Attack) * 4 = 60 and his health will fluctuate around 50. Individuals will be stronger, and they will improve as they grow up, exercise, or other means.

The attack power of the class set in the novel is the in-game attack power*2. For example, if the Minotaur has a strength of 60 and 15 in the game, 15*2=30 will be set as the baseline in the novel (the specific value is strength/2).

Physical strength is basically the same as in-game health.

One of the big changes I've made here is the effect of stamina on defense and resistance to magic. The higher the physical strength, the stronger the defense and magic resistance. For example, the defense of the Minotaur in the game is 15, and the defense in the novel is: (stamina/50)*15*2

In this way, the influence of the hero on the class is greatly diluted and the status of the class is improved.

2. Magic

Magic damage is the same as in the game, but it only increases the resistance of the class itself, and the resistance is related to the physical strength of the class, the higher the physical strength, the greater the resistance to magic, the smaller the magic damage, and the greater the chance of magic immunity!

8. Specialties

Changed class perks:

Speed: Constant +1;

At Hero Level 1, the special unit led by the leader adds 1 defense plus 1 and 2 health; For every level 3 of the hero, the attack is increased by 1, and the defense is increased by 1, and the health is increased by 2.

9. Skills

Tactics:

In-game: Allows rearranging troops within 3 blocks at the start of the battle. If both sides have tactics, they cancel out by level, and if they are comparable, neither side will work.

In the novel: There are two tactical roles, first, the speed of the troops led is +1; Second, they must have a certain ability to deploy formations and command.

Ballistics:

Siege is set in the novel to be learned only after you have a certain technical foundation for catapult siege. Because of the strengthening of the city's defense, this technology corresponds to a lot more important!

Each level of pathfinding reduces the extra movement force consumed by 25 bad terrain up to 100. That is, pathfinding is ineffective on terrain such as grass.
