Mechanical modifications
Within the Empire, a person may use prosthetic limbs and mechanical organs to replace damaged or damaged body parts, or simply to improve their abilities. The modification of the biomimicry of the Cult of the Mechanicus www.biquge.info Pen "Fun" includes: the replacement of body parts, brain implants, control weapons, and other parts of the replacement equipment, as well as the entire body. The empire has no fixed standards for biomimetic technology, and the level of modification varies - many biomimicries are botched and inefficient substitutes, while the best modifications can achieve perfect replication, and even greatly improve the performance of the original limb or organ.
The Biomimicry that the Cult of the Mechanics offers to the Imperial Inquisition is more complex, and they have the means to reverse death or paralysis.
In most Imperial Guard regiments, only part of the personnel have access to bionic equipment. On the other hand, some Imperial Guard regiments can even allow every soldier to undergo transformation, thus greatly enhancing the combat effectiveness of the army. In addition, the Iron Hand Warbands are well-known users of mechanical modification techniques, and they go to great lengths to modify and mechanize their flesh in order to eliminate its weaknesses. In fact, in some organizations that are eligible to use Imperial Bionics, almost everyone has the potential to accept mechanization. Even some wealthy citizens of the empire, with enough money, could accept mechanization.
Although most of the bionic mechanical parts are substitutes for ordinary body organs, such as artificial blood vessels and artificial nerve endings used by many people (they are usually used to replace damaged body parts), the general mechanical bionic structures still have special abilities that greatly surpass the original ordinary body structures, and their specific categories are mainly as follows:
Bionic organs
The wealthy or privileged are its main consumers, and mechanized modifications can replace diseased or old organs, thus providing a means of increasing longevity. Almost all organs can be replaced, even parts of the brain. The simplest is a simple replacement, while more advanced modification technology can add some functions to the original foundation or make the organ have the ability to exceed its original effect (equivalent to organ capacity amplification technology, which allows you to jump 100 feet high and float on the water with light power).
Biomimetic senses
This technique of the empire is achieved by mimicking the abilities of the senses, thus achieving the ability to replace the eyes, ears, certain parts of the nose, and even the effect of touch and tasting. More advanced biomimetic sensations can even produce synesthesia effects (anyone who has seen CANAAN knows what synesthesia is, that is, you can hear colors, see smells, and taste sounds).
The bionic eye can increase the visual spectrum of the subject, allowing you to see heat, as well as locking vision and resisting the blinding effects of flashes. Mechanical eye weapons are not a difficult technique (refer to Uncle Ya), and the modification of hearing can improve hearing to the point where it exceeds the normal level, and the user can hear the breathing of creatures and the beating of the heart.
Implant structures
Implants come in all shapes and sizes, such as implanting protective devices and memory into the brain. Some of the more esoteric retrofit structures are listed below. The Mechanical Priests are the most well-known group of implant users, with more implant parts in their bodies, and they have designed some special implant structures, the list is not exhaustive:
Papsi - Auxiliary device
Psychic aids can increase the control of the brain, it is responsible for a part of the mental activities, and it has the ability to control the minds of people with lower levels than the user's device (that is, the director can control the chief, and the director can control the section chief, and so on, which is equivalent to Yuri's mind control, but it is divided into levels, the higher the level, the stronger the ability to control others)
Psychic Pulse Unit
The telepathic unit is the neural connection between the brain of a living entity and a device that coordinates the actions of the individual, the control and monitoring systems. The most commonly used places for this technique are the Dreadnought Mechs and the Mechanica's Giant Titans. Elsewhere, its primary use is to mount a weapon on the arm, and one of the most practical applications is to allow the user to mount the weapon while keeping both hands free to move. In some special cases where weapons cannot be installed, in order for the device to function properly, it allows the user to control these weapons inside the body, improving the maneuverability of the weapon, and the user must be very careful not to burn out his brain. Telekinesis devices also exist, although they are rare, and they are often used to control mechanical devices or certain types of servants, and this technology can be used to solve tricky problems, such as when the user is unable to complete certain tasks (perhaps because the work location is difficult for humans to adapt to, or the location is too large, etc.).
Implantation of weapons
Implantation of a weapon is the removal of an existing limb, the disassembly of a hand or an entire arm (less commonly) and its replacement with a more complex device. It improves the weapon's handling, but greatly impairs the combat functions of the hand or arm other than the transplanted part (e.g. if you transform your hand into a plasma gun, you will no longer be able to use the chainsaw sword). As a result, this type of bionic is not particularly practical and is usually used for intimidation purposes, and the transplants that users of this technique undergo are often very crude, often leaving horrific suture scars, and the implants are beyond the limits of their physical abilities. Another reason for implanting weapons in the body is that the original congenital conditions are insufficient, and the user needs to take on certain duties, so the weapon has to be implanted in the body, such as gladiators (40K version of Spartacus, Angron) and combat slaves
Mechadendrites
The Mechadendrites are used by the Cult of the Mechanicus to aid in the manufacture and construction, maintenance of their mechanical tendrils, and to assist in research. These mechanical modifications were used on their weapons and body armor, which were almost their own life-small motors and drives.
Electoos
The circuit network is a special implanted structure that uses metal strips to guide electrical energy, and its use is limited; An extreme example is the well-known electric priests, who rely on their own crackling high-voltage arcs to fight, and the users of the circuit network are able to directly absorb the power from the equipment or power supply and then harness the power to harness it, sometimes with catastrophic consequences.
Thinking backwards
Even among some radical factions, it is considered an extreme measure. By removing the creative, emotional, illogical right hemisphere of the brain and replacing it with the logical left hemisphere, the person who undergoes this transformation will be an absolutely rational person.
