Chapter XVII: Counteroffensive

The newly-minted lich slowly rose from the coffin, his withered face radiating the dead of the dead. Its eyes gradually replaced www.biquge.info blood-red, and a muffled call came out of its mouth that was no different from that of a skeleton.

"My dear Dolana, where are you?"

The unanswered lich touched the ring on his finger, and a spell came out of his mouth. Soon, a bony arm poked out from under the pile of corpses in the corner, and the ring on the ring finger was shaking slightly.

The lich waved his hand at the pile of corpses, and the already dead corpses began to twitch wildly, twisting their hands and feet into strange shapes, and a bloody skeleton crawled from the torn corpse.

They ripped open the pile of rotten flesh beneath them, pulling out the mangled white skeleton that had been crushed underneath.

"Look what they've done to you, dear." The lich raised his hand and carefully stroked the skeleton, then reached out and tugged at the ring on its ring finger.

"I'll help you find a new body, don't worry." The lich said with a wave of his hand, turning the bone remains into a pile of bone slag.

Then he glanced at the bones on the ground, and a dark magical energy began to gather between his hands.

One corpse after another began to twitch violently, and the skeleton soldiers of the Undead Legion began to rise from the corpses in a steady stream.

The Lich walked slowly among the skeletal soldiers, bringing the ring in his hand to the hand of one of the skeletons covered in black flames.

The lich who had done all this turned his gaze to where the two men were hiding, and pointed his hand lightly in that direction.

The skeleton, which had been stationary, began to move in the direction of the stone pillar under the instructions of its master.

Hiding behind the stone pillar, Lanster saw it all, and he took the mage's arm and pulled her to his side, looking more solemn than ever.

"Listen, Moria. I want you to clear the ice barrier at the entrance of the hall in the shortest possible time, and it is up to you whether we can escape from here in time. ”

The witchers pointed to the door to the hall that had been frozen by the lich spell, their only hope of escaping.

The mage nodded, clenching her wand in her hand.

"Ed, buy me a little time." Lancet finally instructed the ravens hiding in the corners of the ceiling to prepare for the battle.

The skeleton soldiers continued to approach the stone pillar, and the unarmed guys in front began to spread out to form an encirclement, while the skeletons behind picked up all the weapons they could use to arm themselves next to the corpses.

A fluttering sound rang out from behind the skeletons, and most of them, except the lich, were drawn to Eddard.

Now is the time!

Lancet took advantage of this opportunity to quickly rush out from behind the stone pillar, and cast the Sword Contract with his right hand outstretched. The magic sword flew back into his hand with a "whoosh", and Lancet saw that the sword was already covered with tiny cracks.

Then his left hand was raised flat, and the palm of his hand began to emit a fiery red demonic light.

The flame spell snapped out of his palm, and the blast of fire roared towards the skeleton soldiers in front of Lancet, burning all enemies that remained in range to shreds.

The area attacked by the curse mark left only fragments of broken bones, and the floor of the hall that had been covered in ice emitted bursts of steaming under the effect of the flames.

The steam apparently interfered with the lich's vision, and his already raised arm did not release a shadow ray after losing its target, and his skeletal soldiers fearlessly rushed into the steam without the expected clashing of blades.

An explosion at the entrance of the hall caught the lich's eye, and it saw a woman's figure blasting the frozen barrier with fire magic.

The solid ice wall had begun to crack under the bombardment of the fire spell, and it was estimated that it would not be long before the female mage carved a path.

The lich roared and controlled the skeletal soldiers under his command and charged towards the mage, and it itself immediately gathered eroded energy, and another shadow ray quickly took shape in his hand.

A magical sword burning with green flames slashed through the air and slashed at the lich's spell-casting arm, and Lancet managed to get close to the lich under the cover of the female mage's invisibility, and now has a golden opportunity to inflict heavy damage on his opponent.

The new lich, who had just undergone the transformation ritual, had apparently not fully adapted to his formidable body, and he tried to move his arm away but couldn't match the speed of Lancet's blade.

The magic sword slashed through the lich's arm, slicing one of its hands and forearm elbow-to-elbow, and black-green liquid splattered down the wound and scattered across the frozen ground.

A hoarse wail came from its mouth, and the lich clutched its severed arm and retreated, and the skeletons that had been rushing at the mage turned around and ran towards Lancer.

Eager to take advantage of the victory, Lance took a step forward, his sword slashing at the wounded lich with green fire.

But the next moment, the chaos energy that shone in the lich's hands caused the witcher to abandon his plans, and he quickly turned around and ran towards the gate where Moria was.

The skeletal soldiers rushing towards Lancet couldn't stop him, and the weapon-wielding witcher rushed into the skull swarm like a black wolf, bringing up broken bones in its path.

But his speed was still no match for the Lich's Frost Burn spell, and the eroded and icy energy spread out from the Lich's hands in all directions, threatening to devour Lancet.

At the critical moment, he finally raised his sword, and his figure disappeared in an instant while slashing at the enemy in front of him at a high speed, and by the time he reappeared, he had already advanced more than a dozen yards to the side of another skeleton soldier.

Lancet ducked the long dagger swung by his enemies and charged towards the nearby wall of ice with all his might.

"Moria!" He shouted at the female mage, and when the other party saw his figure, he quickly gathered his magic power, and a spell far more powerful than just now was ready to be sent out of her hand at any time.

"Now!"

Ranster shouted, stroking the blade with his left hand as he ran at high speed, and a scorching red flame instantly replaced the green flame just now, and he slashed towards the spot on the ice wall that had been subjected to the mage's multiple spell attacks, and the magic sword that swept the flames and the large fireball that the mage followed slammed into the frozen barrier.
