Chapter 560: Magic Blast: Dreaming
Rogette: "I don't want to rehash it. It www.biquge.info's one thing to just say it on your lips, but it's another thing to actually do it. β
Lily: "We said we were going to be friends." I hope that will never change. Okay, tell me, is Yennefer okay? β
Rogette: "How do you know I've found her?" β
Lily: "You didn't answer my question, is Yennefer okay?" β
Rogette: "It's alright... Do you want to know what's going on with her? β
Lily: "It's okay, forget it, I've got the answer." β
Lily's magic works well. The rats fled the barn in swarms.
Brandon walked over: "Hey, you see, the two of you are chatting here without work." β
Lily: "It's over. Rogette, they are..."
Several temple guards flashed out from behind Brandon.
Rogette: "I know who they are. β
Brandon: "My friend... Let me inform mages and sorceresses if I come across them. I can't bear to refuse..."
Lily's palms lit up with fire, "It's a trap, Rogette. β
Rogert: "I was suspicious from the start. If those guys are here to help us kill rats, it's too late. You've paid for it, and we've done the job. There wasn't half a mouse left in the barn. β
Brandon: "I paid it up front because I knew the money was going to come back to me. β
Lily: "Look, the sorceress of Norwegian Grey has been living like this lately. β
Rogette: "I can see that I don't like it. Listen to me, the hunters have come, and now they can go. β
Temple Guard: "We won't listen to you." β
Rogert: "Okay, we've talked about it. If you want to do it, do it, but remember for me... I can't sit idly by. β
Temple Guard: "We don't want to hear this bastard anymore. β
Brandon: "Me too. Don't let them leave alive! β
So, the fight began. Because of the player's help, Rogette's side has an advantage over the Temple Guards. Coupled with Lily's support, everyone quickly took out the temple guards.
Lily was a little frustrated: "I was deceived like a child... If it weren't for you... Let's go find Brandon. β
Brandon was waiting outside the barn. Seeing Lily and Rogette come out, he looked horrified: "Don't kill me! Good sir, don't... I was forced by them... If I don't tell the news, they'll burn down my house, my warehouse... Mage hunters have no mercy... Spare me, sir... Don't be like those murderers. β
Rogette: "Shut up. I should have killed you. But when you die, you can only feed the seagulls, and it won't do anyone else any good. So I'll spare your life, but you'll pay us double. Hurry up. β
Brandon: "Okay, take the money." β
Rogette: "Get out! β
Brandon ran.
Rogette gave the money to Lily. Lily: "Thank you. β
Rogette: "You have to be more cautious with people. β
Lily: "He's pretty good compared to some mages. You know what, I've been wondering if anyone will have news from Siri and I just suddenly thought... There was a dreamteller in the city named Colin. Ti Li, I heard that it is very powerful. β
Rogette: "Personally, I don't really believe in the abilities of the Dream Divider. β
Lily: "Colin's divination has been pretty accurate so far, you should try it." She happens to be working nearby. You walk along the river, in the opposite direction of the fish market, and the house where she works is near the first bridge. The owner of the house was named Yorkhill and was a wealthy banker. β
Rogert: "You're not coming with me?" β
Lily: "I still have something to attend to. β
Rogert: "There's another warehouse with rats to clean up?" β
Lily: "No. But there's no sense of accomplishment in any work, and now is a bad time. β
Rogette: "I'm glad to see you again. β
Lily: "Me too, Rogette. You've got to get out of here, or Colin won't know where to hide back in a moment. β
Rogette: "What if I want to find you?" β
Lily: "I live in the Biz district, near the fish market. Remember to come to me when you have time. β
Rogette: "Got it, goodbye." β
Lily is gone, and several players follow her. Rogette leads the players to the Dream Diviner.
"Traveler, are you just passing by, or are you looking for something?" A man stopped Rogette.
"Who are you?" Rogette asked.
"I'm Rudolph. Yorkhill. That's right, the Yorkshire family. It was my ancestors who laid the foundations of this city, and I now own the largest bank in the city. The man said. He's the banker Lily said.
Rogert: "You don't need to declare your home, just say your name." β
Banker: "My father used to say, 'Son, let the whole world know what you are capable of, and don't hide it.'" ββ
Rogette: "I'm looking for Colin. Ti Li. β
Banker: "You've come to the right place, Colin is in the house." She had been in it for days, dreaming about the history of the house. β
Rogert: "Why do you want to know about the house's past?" Are you a historian, or is it a whim? β
Banker: "I bought this house a while ago and paid a lot of money. But it wasn't long before I saw ... Paranormal phenomena. So I suspect the house is haunted. β
Rogette: "What kind of paranormal phenomenon?" β
Banker: "All sorts of weird things, giggles are heard at night, attic furniture moves around, and so on." And last week, you might not believe it, I found human feces in the living room. β
Rogette: "I want to go in and have a look." β
Banker: "I don't usually let strangers into my house, but look at the two swords behind your back... I figured since you're a demon hunter, I'll let you in. Think it's a whim. β
Rogette leads the players into the house. Someone is talking, it should be Colin the Dream Diviner who is talking in his dreams.
"Please, put it down... That's blood... Don't spill it out... Please..."
Suddenly, a scream came. Everyone ran to the second floor and realized that it wasn't Colin dreaming, but someone was casting a spell on her.
Colin struggled in bed. The guy was so frightened by everyone that he got under the bed. Rogette stepped forward to wake up Colin. The players look under the bed, but there's nothing underneath.
Colin: "Doll... Attic..."
Rogert: "Okay, let's go look at the attic." β
Colin: "Stop... Go away... Don't be like that... Don't touch it! β
Everyone went to the attic, and Rogette picked up the doll on the table. They found a painting in which the doll was lying in a cradle. So, everyone looked everywhere for the cradle.
After finding the cradle, Rogette put the doll inside, and the door next to it automatically opened. In the next room, a larger painting was discovered. It shows an oven and a blacked-out chimney. So everyone started looking for an oven.
When everyone found the oven, they were shocked because there was a person hiding inside.
"Did it scare you? Scares, right? You can see you're taken aback. It's funny that the brave big man was scared by little Sarah. β
Rogert: "Sarah, if it were me, I wouldn't be intimidating anymore. Some people may want to hurt you when they are scared. β
Sarah: "Why would anyone want to hurt me?" Can't even play a little game? β
Rogette: "What are you playing?" β
Sarah: "That young lady is asleep, I gave her nightmares, and I'm not going to wake her up." I can do that, it's fun, right? β
Sarah crawled out of the oven, she was a little earth spirit.
Rogette: "It's fun. Actually, I'm going to talk to the Dream Diviner, so I want you to wake her up. β
Sarah: "Little Sarah doesn't want her to wake up, little Sarah wants to play." β
Rogette: "You're lucky, I know you're a little earth spirit who doesn't hurt anyone. But others don't necessarily know, and then they will..."
Sarah: "How do you know I'm a little earth spirit?" How would you know? β
Rogert: "It looks like and acts like... Trust me, you're a little earth spirit. You give the dreamteller nightmares and don't wake her up. Why did you abuse her like this? β
Sarah: "I didn't abuse her, the terrible dreams are fun." Like I love the nightmare of the big hen running after me, and that hen has a red one..."
Rogert: "Why do you live in a haunted house?" β
Sarah: "I'll tell you a secret, this house isn't haunted at all. I'm just making a fuss and making everyone think there's a ghost, and the house is left empty, and I'll move in. As a result, the big man from the bank came and bought the house. I didn't like bankers, and I didn't like living with them, so I decided to scare them..."
Rogert: "You did freak out the bankers. But you know, he spent a lot of money to buy this house, so he won't give it up easily. That's why you have to find somewhere else to live. β
Sarah: "I don't want it!" I don't want it! No! β
Rogert: "Sarah, Norwegian Grey isn't suitable for small places to live, but I can't care if you insist on it, so let's make a deal." β
Sarah: "Deal? What kind of deal? β
Rogert: "If you let the dreamteller go, I'll go and tell the banker that the curse of this house can't be solved, and that the haunting is too bad to be saved." β
Sarah: "You're going to tell him that?" What if he doesn't believe it? β
Rogert: "I'm a demon hunter, and he'll trust me." β
Sarah: "Good, good. If you say that, I won't bother your friends anymore, and I won't touch them. You know what, you're such a nice guy. β
Rogert: "I don't often hear people say that, thank you." β
Sarah: "You can go and wake up that sleeper now, I won't get in your way." She'll wake up. β
Everyone went back to the room, and Colin had woken up.
Colin: "Who are you?" β
Rogert: "Lily. Merigothe told me to come to you. β
Colin: "Oh my God, what a terrible nightmare... I was going to dream about the past of this house, but I didn't expect to see a lot of furniture, and hungry furniture wanted to eat me... I know it sounds ridiculous, but in a dream... That's all so real, and it's not funny at all. β
Rogert: "It's the work of the little earth spirit, she wants everyone to think that this house is haunted, and she has done something to your dreams. β
Colin: "How else can you wake me up?" I'm so lucky. β
Rogette: "Demon hunters have their own methods. β
Colin: "I'm so grateful, really, those dreams are terrible. How can I repay you? β
Rogette: "I've got something to ask for. I'm looking for a young woman who has been to Gre, Norway. β
Colin: "I'll do my best to help, but I'll have to clear my head first." I've had so many weird dreams that I feel like my head is covered in cobwebs. You'll find me at the Kimhoon Tavern, where I rented a room. β
Colin went first. Rogette leads the players out of the house to the banker.
The banker was still waiting there: "I saw Miss Colin leave, but she wouldn't talk to me. Is the problem solved? Or is it hopeless? β
Rogert: "Half and half. A demon has taken Colin hostage. I managed to save her, but the house was still haunted. β
Banker: "Did Colin ever dream about the house?" β
Rogert: "Yes, she wouldn't say it at all, but it must have been terrifying. It's uninhabitable. β
Banker: "But I spent a lot of money. Well, it's not going to go bankrupt."
Convincing the banker, Rogette leads the players to the tavern to find Colin.
Colin: "I'm usually dreaming here. β
Rogette: "I've never seen a sΓ©ance like this, let alone been a part of it. β
Colin: "I'll guide you. First of all, we have to make a spiritual connection. I'll ask questions that you have to answer. Be sure to answer honestly and heartfelt. β
Rogette: "Tell me first, how does your talent work?" β
Colin: "It's kind of hard to describe. At first, I had to understand how the things I was looking for in the dreams that I was going to do in a while were related to the people who came to me. I ask questions and try to figure out feelings or feelings. So it's important to answer honestly. Most of the people who come to me know this, but there are certain things that they won't talk about. This, combined with the fact that there are some questions they can't answer, makes it even more difficult to find answers. β
Rogette: "What do you see in your dreams?" β
Colin: "It's not me who sees it, it's what my clients see." My gift is to be able to summon the right dreams. Sometimes nightmares or strong desires can affect the reality of dreams, and it takes skill to separate them. β
Rogert: "Okay, let's get started. β
Colin: "First of all, you're going to have to describe to me one of your memories of this woman. β
Rogette: "Why?" β
Colin: "Just do it, please." I need one of the strongest and most complete memories of this one..."
Rogert: "Ciri, her name is Ciri. The incident took place in Leah, just after the end of the Second Great War in Nilfgaard. The situation is still tense. Later, for some unknown reason, ethnic unrest broke out in the city. I tried to do something, but... Can't stop the mob who have lost their minds. One boy took a pitchfork and stuck it in my abdomen. Yennefer also lay dying and aside... Siri carried us to a boat, carried us to a place where apple blossoms bloomed forever, and left us there. That was the last time I saw her..."
