Postscript Goodbye for the eighth time

Previous Chapter

Whew, let out a long breath.

It's finally over, and there's a chance to come and chat with everyone.

Friends who are familiar with Lin Hai Tingtao will know that I rarely talk to you about anything in it, and I usually compress the confession since this book to the end of the day, and talk to you through the epilogue.

From January 2014 to today, the book Champion Light has been written for a full year and eight months. It's the slowest book I've ever written in recent years, and it's just over four million words.

In the final analysis, this book is written very slowly, and the number of words I submit on the $ website every month is basically more than 100,000 words, which is why the last year is two changes a day, and the thunder cannot be moved - if you add more changes like before, I am afraid that after three or four days, the manuscript will be gone.

Until the very end, when I finished the last chapter, I only had enough to save for a week.

There are many reasons why this book is written slowly, one of which is physical.

I've found that when people get older, their physical fitness does decline.

Now it's hard for me to stay focused for a long time and stick to a whole day of codeword work.

The slightest thing can be easily disturbed and affect the state of the whole day.

In addition, there were too many things last year and this year, and last year, I had to fly at least once a month, to Beijing, to Shanghai, to Guangzhou, to Shenzhen...... I was airsick and faint from flying fever, and I had a slight fear of flying.

I went to Beijing again to participate in Tencent Video's World Cup commentary, and the moment the plane landed at the Capital International Airport, I finally couldn't hold back and vomited out all the food on the plane, which was sour......

So the writing of the Light of Champions has not been very good, and I have to apologize to everyone for that.

I tried to break out, but it quickly turned out to be futile, and even if I continued to write at high intensity for a short period of time, my form would drop to the bottom in the next few days.

Now when the author's friends meet, they will say that I wrote 4.6 million words in a year, and I finished writing "The Winner is King" in 11 months, and now this matter has become a typical example of "Lao Tzu was also awesome back then".

In addition to remembering the crazy self and the years, there is only a sigh.

The years are unforgiving.

I even felt that if I was asked to write an average of 12,000 or 15,000 words a day (when I wrote "The Winner Takes All" in 2013, I averaged 15,000 words a day that year), not only would I not be able to do it, but it would also be difficult to guarantee the quality.

But one way or another, in the stumbling, on the plane, in the airport terminal, at home, in a café...... I still finished writing the story of glory.

What the story itself presents at first and now has undergone some changes over time.

For example, the World Cup was something I had never planned for.

But the performance of the Chinese national team in the Asian Cup at the beginning of this year stimulated me, and I felt that I still had to write some stories of glory in the national team, so I had the last part of the national team plot.

I don't know how many readers were disgusted and gave up because of it when I wrote it, but I wrote it anyway because I wanted to.

I think that if Chinese football wants to make some progress, I have to actually do something, I am a codeword, and what I can do is to describe the Chinese football dream in my fictional world.

But in the end, it was not written until the end of the World Cup, as for the performance and performance of the Chinese team led by Rongguang in the World Cup, then you will see your own brains, I won't say it, everyone wants them to have any result, if you want to win the championship, that is the championship, I think it is already awesome to be able to break into the quarterfinals, then the quarterfinals.

In short, everyone can make their own creations on the glory of their matches in the World Cup.

I haven't written this kind of open-ended ending before, and basically every book in my previous books has completely recorded the protagonist's complete career experience. The end will definitely fall on the protagonist to end his career, whether it is a player or a coach.

But in Glory, I'm going to try a different ending.

In a more open-ended way, let the story of Glory continue, yes, in the part we are familiar with, his story is over, but in another parallel time, that super genius called Glory will continue to score goals, break records, and create his own legend in world football.

Thank you very much for being with me for more than a year, and for accompanying me through the glory.

Now I have to say goodbye.

I have said goodbye seven times, and I will not let my heart be reluctant to be less.

This is the eighth, but it won't be the last.

Preparations are already underway for the new book, and if nothing else, it will be available in mid to late September.

I don't have much to say about the new book now, because I haven't started writing the main text yet, and I've been looking for information, finding feelings, making character settings, and writing story outlines.

I haven't even thought of a new book yet......

All I can say is that in my vision, the new book will be a story similar to "We Are the Champions" in terms of story structure, with a main character and then a very interesting and important group of supporting characters who together make up the story.

It has something to do with Chinese football, it has something to do with European football, and it has something to do with everyone's different dreams, there are golden fingers, cool points, and ups and downs.

Of course, because of this, it is impossible for this book to be written too quickly, and the update speed may not be satisfactory to everyone, but I want to slow down and write the book itself better.

When I wrote "We Are the Champions", I couldn't write 60,000 words a month, of course I couldn't be slow to that extent, there must be daily updates, I just hoped to be able to give my head more time to think about my own things.

So, everyone, we'll see you before the end of September!

When the time comes, whether it is at the creation or at the starting point, we will see you there!
