Chapter 30: Killing Insects, Slaying Dragons

On the other side, the eerie ghost aura has not been able to dissipate in the manor. It was dispelled by Lulunaka's lantern, but it was too big, and there were still faint whispers and wriggling shadows where she hadn't set foot, but it might all be over today.

Not because of Lulunaka's lantern, but because of the restlessness from underground. The tremor that had caused Lulunaka to stop had finally reached the ground—beneath the manor, breaking through the ground.

In the courtyard where Lulunaka and the others passed, the earth arched upward, and then a huge black body emerged from the ground, destroying the entire courtyard, leaving not even a trace - because it was so large that not only the courtyard, but also the surrounding corridors and buildings were affected, and the hard body collided and rubbed, turning into pieces of rubble.

The almost cylindrical body rose from the ground, as if it was about to extend into the sky, turning into a "tower" that was uprooted from the ground. The buildings of the manor were affected, the rubble was splattered everywhere, and the wriggling huge body was also destroying the surroundings, and for a while, most of a good haunted mansion was destroyed, and only the periphery was not destroyed.

The black body seemed to have no end, constantly emerging from the ground, constantly climbing in the air, and if anyone in the distance were watching in this direction, they would probably have seen the writhing black tower. It wasn't until the surrounding buildings were crushed that the body finally stopped stretching into the air, but stopped, as if frozen, and then fell to the side. This fell to the beehive-like building that Lulunaka had just entered.

Even the strongest castle could not withstand the massive body that could draw a thick line in the sky. The body with the black carapace fell, directly splitting the building in half, and a large room in the middle was crushed to pieces, including the master room that Junia had entered.

Smoke and dust rising from the manor, a symbol of destruction, enveloped most of the manor. Now, the place no longer looks so eerie, but it has become another image as if it has been trampled by a giant god......

This giant beast from the underground, on the surface, revealed its true face. The black body has no head, only a mouthpiece full of rows of teeth that is constantly opening and closing, and there are no eyes on the side. On its body, there are several limbs that are moving, and they look like the arthropods of insects, and the proportions do not match its size at all, and it looks as if it has been forcibly stuffed onto it. The black shell makes it look like a stick that has been enlarged and then added with a strange decoration. But the stick won't be on that scale, and it won't be able to move on its own.

These are just some of them, and what is even more frightening is that there are parts that cannot be ignored...... That is, it has the characteristics of a dragon.

At the end of its torso, the back half of its body, fully exposed, had a thick tail covered with irregular scales and carapaces, and a very large barb. No matter how you look at it, it's the tail of a dragon. And a little further on, there were several pairs of wings of various sizes, which, although they looked completely impossible to fly, were flapping energetically—like tails, which are also something that belongs to dragons, dragon wings.

The first half is the body of an insect, while the second half has a large number of dragon features. This is the whole picture of this giant beast, huge, terrifying, disgusting...... And deformed.

This strange creature is now struggling on the brink of death. Its mouth was opening and closing, and under the rows of teeth, there was a person who resisted the bite and tearing of those teeth. The monster was struggling, and so was Junia. He wreaked havoc all over its body, poking a large hole in its digestive organs, and highly corrosive digestive juices poured out of it, allowing its other organs to enjoy the taste of being corroded. But this half-worm, half-dragon creature could not be less tolerant of acid than he Junia. When he was about to touch the organ it used to pump blood, the heart, it did something that would hurt itself.

It vomited out most of its organs, along with Junia. In addition to the organs related to life support that remained in the body, other organs that could be discarded and had been destroyed by Junia a long time ago were entrapped in Junia and spit out of the body.

If she were spit out, Junia would fall into the tunnel, where she would be crushed by its hard shell on the inner wall of the tunnel, and ground to minced meat. Knowing this, Junia grabbed the teeth when she was spit out of her mouth, and was not spit out with the organs, and then she was crushed into a puddle of disgusting paste. Hanging on the edge of a large mouth of a blood disc is not a great experience, but it is undoubtedly a better choice than being thrown out and crushed to pieces. As the mouthparts were closed, Junia thrust her sword into the flesh between the fangs and climbed deeper. Junia, who didn't want to go back to the interior that was already filled with corrosive slime, hung there like this, holding the cross-sword inserted into the flesh wall in her right hand, and wielding a scimitar in her left hand, continuing to wreak havoc around her. This resilient creature is indestructible on the outside, but only in this relatively soft body can people feel that they can cut it.

The pain in its mouth made the insect dragon go crazy again, and continued to drill in the direction of the surface, and then everything in its body squirmed, trying to drive Junia out of the moss-like body. But until it reached the surface, its efforts did not work, and Junia's destruction never stopped.

When he reached the surface, Junia was spit into the teeth of his mouthparts, and the circles of fangs began to press down on his head, feet, and sides, crushing him into a puddle of minced flesh. And Junia propped his hands on his head under such a crush, so that the fangs on the top of his head that fell like boulders could not go down for half a minute, and his feet shattered a few fangs, so that there was a place to step on, so that he could have a fulcrum to withstand the pressure.

This knight, who had always been silent, withstood the desperate blow of this terrible beast in a desperate situation. As his fangs were about to touch his neck, Junia made a decision he would never regret - he let go of his hand and rushed into the inside of his mouthparts. As the fangs snapped together, Junia vanished, and between the gnawed fangs, an arm and half of the calf hung from it.

The insect dragon, which had tasted the taste of human flesh and blood, was relieved, and suddenly, let out a final howl, and the sound waves shook everything that remained inside the manor to pieces, and the portraits of the owners of the manor fell to the ground and turned into worthless pieces of wood.

And the insect dragon was completely quiet.
