Chapter 3: Chance Encounters (I)
The air was filled with thick darkness, as if it was an indissolvable nightmare, enveloping the forest of sages that had entered the night, and the suffocating silence was overwhelming.
Although there was moonlight, it still couldn't illuminate the forest, and the leaves seemed to have magical power to absorb the moonlight. And after saying goodbye to his father, Alan stumbled to find the mine pickaxe that had just been catapulted off because of the battle. I embarked on a journey alone, but the forest at night was not easy to walk, let alone the forest of the sages. Without the guidance of the Light, it is easy for ordinary people to lose their way and be trapped here forever.
Alan approached a large tree, and the junction of the roots of the tree deep into the ground seemed to glow slightly, and Alan squatted down, reached out, and covered the shimmer with his hands.
"Star Mine"
Alan muttered to himself, then unloaded his pickaxe and tapped it against the root of the tree. Soon an oval-shaped piece of ore was dug up, and the whole piece of ore flickered in the night, illuminating Allen's surroundings. Now that he couldn't see the road, Alan took advantage of the light of the ore to pack his bags and began to continue his journey.
I don't know how long it took, but the eroded night finally faded, the morning star twinkled and illuminated the sky, and the rainbow bridge faintly appeared among the clouds and mist. Everything began to recover, and the bluebirds soared together, chasing the first rays of the morning.
Alan raised his head, stretched his already stiff and sore limbs, squinted his eyes in the sun, and felt the hard-won warmth, the sun was like gold dust sprinkled on his handsome face, beautiful and a little charming, fleeting in the corners of his eyes.
On the branches of the canopy overhead, a pair of slender legs are swinging back and forth, and the owner of the legs is firmly attracted by the beautiful scene in front of him.
"How can there be such a good-looking person?"
My heart was like a rabbit jumping around, and I didn't hear the creak of the branches breaking under me.
"Ouch...... Ahh!!h ”
There was an exclamation from the canopy, and after a series of crashes, a petite figure fell from the tree and hit the thick branch in the middle. It hit Allen directly in the chest, and Allen was thrown to the ground by the little guy who suddenly appeared.
"Hmm"
Alan barely stood up, looking down at the little man who was humming in his arms, and suddenly felt a little overwhelmed.
"Uh, are you alright?"
"Ouch... It hurts."
The young man in the orange hat covered his nose with his hands, raised his head, and looked straight at Alan with big jewel-like eyes shining with tears. Under the shade of the trees, the sparkling sunlight fell on the bodies of the two teenagers, the warm and warm wind blew lazily, and the mischievous forest elves danced a lovely dance on the treetops, and the golden powder was scattered, crystal clear under the refraction of the colorful sunlight. Time seemed to stop at this moment, the forest was quiet and clear, and the birds stopped their wings and landed on the young man's shoulder, looking at the two with their necks crooked. The two of them don't know that the meeting at this moment is fate, and the responsibilities they will shoulder in the future will be a long way to go, and each other will become the most important existence in each other's eyes.
Alan looked at the little boy sitting in his arms, and the corners of his mouth smiled unconsciously, how long did he want to stay in his arms? Although he doesn't hate it. The young man put down his hands covering his nose, revealing a delicate little face, fair and almost transparent skin, a small and straight red nose, pink lips slightly open, a pair of eyes as blue as the sky embedded under the slightly wrinkled eyebrows, pure and flawless, thick and slender eyelashes flickering like a fan, and the golden hair under the hat fluttered in the wind, brushing his delicate face.
