Chapter 2: High Elves
The history of the High Elves dates back 10,000 years, and it was once part of the Night Elves.
Ten thousand years ago, the Night Elves lived on the continent of Ancient Karimdor, relying on the Well of Eternity, a well filled with magical energy, located in the center of the continent. However, their unbridled use of magical energy under the leadership of Queen Azhara and her upper elves eventually led to an invasion by the Burning Legion.
After the terrible explosion, the Well of Eternity is destroyed, and the surviving Night Elves are restarting a new life under the leadership of the Druid. However, they decided never to use magic again. After the explosion of the Well of Eternity, the surviving upper elves were restless and launched a rebellion in a vain attempt to lift the taboo of magic, but they failed. As punishment, they were exiled by the Great Druids.
Four thousand years ago, these exiled High Elves came to the east of Lordaeron under the leadership of their leader, Darth Rema*, and established their new magical kingdom in the northeastern region of Quel'Thalas, calling themselves "High Elves" in the region of Quel'Thalas, in order to distinguish themselves from the previous Night Elves.
The High Elves recreated a huge fountain of magical energy in the heart of Quel'Salas, the Well of the Sun, and with the constant supply of magic from the Well of the Sun, they slowly grew stronger and established a glorious magical text
However, their survival has not been without its challenges. From the very beginning of their landing on the continent, they were confronted with the most terrifying threat of all, the greedy and cunning trolls of the forest.
Not only can these moss-covered trolls regenerate their limbs, but their bodies heal quickly on their own, even if they are severely wounded, though their actions suggest that these trolls are still a savage and evil race. Their empire covered most of Northern Lordaeron, and the trolls were attacking the High Elves who rushed in, trying to drive them away from Lorendam.
Unwilling to give up the land they had just acquired, the stubborn elves used the magic they had obtained from the Well of Eternity to curb the wild trolls' frenzied attacks. Under the leadership of Darth Rema, they managed to defeat the Amani army, which outnumbered them by 10 times.
But the war between the High Elves and the Trolls has lasted for thousands of years, and neither has completely wiped out each other. This situation finally awaited the succession of this king, Anastarian, and under his leadership, the trolls launched an unprecedented offensive and Quel'Salas was in danger of destruction. At this time, in the southeastern region of the continent of Lordaeron, humans established the first country in history - the Arathso Empire in order to fight against the forest trolls.
Anastarian came up with a plan that bordered on madness, believing that humans must possess a potential magical talent that could be of great use in battle if they were trained, and demanded an alliance like the Arathor Empire. After obtaining their consent, the elven mages rushed to Alathor almost instantaneously and began teaching humans the ways of magic. Then the humans and the High Elves worked together to achieve the ultimate victory, and the trolls were devastated ever since.
The High Elves were given nearly a thousand years of peace, and in gratitude to the Humans, the High Elves pledged their loyalty and friendship to the Thoradin bloodline, and in the years that followed, the Humans and the High Elves lived together peacefully.
It wasn't until two hundred years ago that the remaining trolls started a new war......
“……”
[Although there are slight discrepancies, it is still roughly the same as the history of Warcraft...]
White, or as we'll call him Kael'thas later, better. Kael'thas closed the thick history book in his hand, he hid his inner worries, and leaned comfortably on the chest of the man behind him.
"Brother, where are we going today?"
Full of childish voice, crisp and soft, let Kyle Sara, a brother in his 200s (sister?) I couldn't help but feel soothed.
High elves have a long lifespan, and they can live to be about 2,000 years old. Their growth cycle is very strange, before the age of fifteen, like humans, the appearance of fifteen to 300 years old is a teenager, after the age of 300 will grow into a mature elf with an appearance of 20 years old, and it will not change for more than ten centuries after that. High elves do not have old age, and only in the last 500 years of their lives will they become middle-aged people around 40 years old.
So even after raising Kael'thas for 8 years, Kael's appearance is still the same beautiful boy. He was not an adult, and it seems that the king did not allow him to go into battle.
"Let's go to the Western Temple—" Kaelsala replied lovingly as he touched Kael'thas on the head lovingly, pulling the reins of the chocobo in one hand.
The chocobos are the mounts of the High Elves, a large, ornate colorful bird with long tail feathers that the High Elves believe to show the beauty of Quel'Thalas.
Both the appearance and the adoption history are completely different from what Kael'thas remembers......
Kael'thas sighed, he looked at the two rows of luxuriously equipped guards who followed him, their golden armor and the golden forest shining against each other, looking very domineering.
"Fishing again?"
"Of course..."Kaelsala smiled lightly, there was a kind of overwhelming posture, this time he went to the Western Temple to conduct a routine inspection of runes, but it was also for fishing, of course he would not tell Kael'thas.
Kylesara's cultivation of Kael'thas seems strange in the eyes of many people. Until he was five years old, Kael'thas never let Kael'thas out of the Tower of Wrath, nor did he learn any magic, and was responsible for teaching words and etiquette.
It's nothing, it's still small after all. But in the three years from the age of 5 to 8, many people don't understand that Kael'thas graduated from the teaching of written language and etiquette at the age of 5 in order to learn magic skills early. But who would have thought that what awaits them after graduation is actually a three-year career of map shopping and fishing?
[I want to learn skills......]
Kael'thas looked at himself without tears at level 10 and skill 0......
Which traverser is as miserable as he is? After 8 years of mixing, the experience of pure fishing has been upgraded to level 10, and it can't be upgraded anymore, and there is not an attack skill yet, let alone the talent is lost due to class damage.
Want to take on a task? It's okay, not to mention that those missions in the future generations have not appeared, and with a group of guards following, who would dare to give him tasks! Want to fight monsters? Yes, not to mention that you don't have a skill, even if a kitten runs within twenty meters of you, it will be killed by the guards in an instant!
What's even worse is that in team mode, I have no experience in fighting monsters!! ~~~
However, compared to the beginning, Kael'thas is much calmer. 8 years is enough time to change a person's surname. Perhaps under the influence of Kaelsala, or perhaps the influence of the body's bloodline on the soul, Kael'thas now behaves worthy of an elegant and quiet prince.
This is what Kylsalla expected from the beginning, believing that as a prince, the most important thing is not magic and skills, but more importantly, a heart that can calmly face difficulties.
That's why he took Kael'thas to fish with him since he was a child and cultivated his peace of mind.
"It seems that Xiao Ao, you have delicious food again today!" Kael'thas smiled, he would no longer resist this activity, he stretched out his index finger to tease the fat chicken standing on the head of the landing bird, this phoenix, already about the size of an adult chicken, has eaten enough in the past few years.
"Quack~quack~~" Xiao Ao seemed to understand what Kael'thas meant, and happily fluttered his wings and rubbed his head on Kael'thas's index finger.
Everyone looked at the phoenix with a black line on their faces, they had never seen such a earthy phoenix, and it was called like a duck (Kael'thas thought it was a crow), which made them wonder if it was a phoenix after all.
Only Kael'thas didn't doubt this, and as he touched Xiao Ao, his head popped up with his caste.
Name: Ao
Race: Phoenix
Level: 10 (infancy, 7600 XP required for the next level)
Skill: Fire Bomb - It spits out a barrage of flames from its mouth, dealing damage to enemies and burning continuously for 10 minutes.
Nirvana - Passive skill, when the phoenix dies, it turns into an egg, the egg has half of its health, and if it is not destroyed for 1 minute, the phoenix will be resurrected again with full blood and blue. Note: Can only be revived 1 time per hour.
Special surname:
Loyalty - The phoenix is a summoned pet for Kael'sest, the loyalty is fixed at 100%, and the phoenix is actively martyred when Kael'thas dies.
Synchronization - This Phoenix level actively synchronizes with Kael'thas and does not require additional experience.
……
[I was almost scared by you at the beginning...]
Kael'thas sighed at Ao, who almost thought the phoenix was a useless chick. Unexpectedly, this phoenix is so buggy.
When Kael'thas becomes stronger in the future, it won't be against the sky?
However, it is more difficult than imagined to be strong in this world, and Kael'thas has a half-hung golden finger that can't see the opponent's HP level, not even the damage of his own skills. All of this had to be handled by Kael'thas himself, and he felt a lot of pressure.
And unlike his hierarchy, the division of power in this world is not so detailed. After investigation, Kael'thas roughly determined the corresponding indicators.
Entry-level Professional: A person who has just learned a skill, probably below level 15 of his own level.
Entry-level professional: If you have a certain skill, it is probably your own level 15 to 30.
Intermediate Professional: Most people who can start adventuring are currently at this stage, probably at level 30 to 50 themselves.
Senior Professional: A powerful person, of various ethnic elites, presumably of his own rank 50 to 70.
As for the more advanced ones, there is no specific division yet. Kael'thas estimated that by the time the Second Orc War began, there would probably be an indicator.
Of course, for characters like Kael'thas father, heroes of all races, the sky is shattered when they raise their hands, and the division of ranks is no longer necessary, they would rather say that it is the level of legends. Kael'thas didn't know about that, and he wouldn't know until he reached that level.
It's a long way to go......
