Chapter 477: The Ring of Darkness

Lake Lordamere at night is filled with silvery waves!

In plague-ravaged Lordaeron, only this huge inland lake remains beautiful.

A long procession of undead walked up the shore from the ruins of Lordaeron, an image imprinted in a magical vision in front of the Well of the Sun.

The reason why Kael'thas quickly interrupted communication with Solan Liane was because he accepted Sylvanas's invitation.

The Queen of the Dead seemed to have something to show him.

A team of bones and rancid abomination walked in the darkness of darkness, and Sylvanas led Pamela and Onexia alongside each other.

She and the Black Dragon Princess both knew what the purpose of the action was at the moment, but the others didn't.

Above Lake Lordamere, in a corner of the Tirisfal glades, is the cemetery where countless undead wander.

"Conquer them!"

Sylvanas gave an order to the people behind him, and then led Pamela into the cemetery.

She walked around a few times, and finally found the skeleton with broken legs.

It was him, the person she was looking for.

"Who are you?"

Pamela, the little skeleton, jumped off the skeleton and walked up to the severed leg skeleton and asked.

Not only did the skeleton have a broken leg, but it also had deep scars on its bones—a sign that he had done a lot for the Lich King.

"Where are you going, little Dalyan?"

Same answer as years later.

In the history known to Sylvanas, the Alliance would soon take over the Silverpine Forest and then engage in a tug-of-war with the undead in Lordaeron for years.

Years later, the undead retreated to the western plague lands - and this skeleton was a small accident on the way.

"We're going north to collect companions, so come too!"

Pamela grinned in response to the skeleton's question.

This was the superficial meaning of Sylvanas' trip tonight, and she told her subordinates that she would take advantage of the evening to gather a new group of companions to use to transform their new city, Undercity.

The Undercity is also Lordaeron, but the Undercity is not the same as Lordaeron.

It will be built beneath the ruins of Lordaeron and will be a sprawling underground city.

"North?"

Dalyan's eyes flashed red, and then he took a few steps forward excitedly:

"Please take me, the waster, with you."

With his legs broken, it was evident that it was difficult for him to walk unaided. It's not even possible to join the ranks of the undead.

"Take him with you!"

But Sylvanas ordered the others to bring Dalyan with them.

After completing the subduing of the cemetery, the undead continued north.

Young Pamela, who always had an extra deal of sympathy, found a new purpose this time and left Sylvanas all the way, talking to Dalyan on a simple cart.

"Hey, where are your feet?"

She gestured to Dalyan's empty lower body. With innocence said:

"If you go and talk to Her Majesty. She can help you get it back! ”

“”

Sylvanas fell silent for an instant.

The undead beneath her did figure out how to assemble the bones, but the mutilated skeleton couldn't get its original body again.

Pamela seemed to have a slight misunderstanding.

"No, my legs have disappeared in the light."

Dalyan shook his head.

He told Pamela that during a battle in the Silver Pines Forest some time ago, the Alliance Paladins had both of his legs cut off. It wasn't until he got rid of the Lich King's control that Dalyan slowly climbed to the north.

"You crawled here?"

After hearing this, not only Pamela, but also everyone else was a little surprised.

"Why come north?"

Pamela then asked.

“”

But Dalyan did not answer.

Pamela pestered him unrelentingly until the party left the Tirisfal glades. Only then did Dalyan tell the reason.

"I want to see my wife."

He replied, and told Pamela what had happened.

Dalyan was originally an ordinary farmer in a small village in the Western Plaguelands, and he had just married the woman he loved when he was unfortunately met with the undead.

When the plague struck, Dalyan became cursed and became undead.

His wife, instead of leaving with the rest of the village, stayed in their home.

subsequently

Dalyan killed her wife.

He slashed open her body, killed the child in her belly, and then left with the undead.

After the Lich King's control waned, Dalyan regained his senses and was tormented by guilt and pain.

He crawled all the way north to return to his family and apologize to his wife.

"She certainly can't forgive me"

Dalyan was hoarse. He had no flesh - otherwise he would have cried.

"But I still have to go see her and say I'm sorry to her."

This kind of thing is all too common among the undead, and it brings almost only one result.

The loved ones they killed were either dead souls or had already passed away - the spirits of the sinned dead would live with a curse.

It's the same with Dalyan.

If Sylvanas hadn't saved him tonight, he would have dragged his body north and stayed in his own family. Day and night, he wanted to call out to his wife's skeleton, which had been scattered on the ground, in a vain attempt to bring her back to life and apologize.

His obsession sustained him to live.

Sylvanas had intended to turn that obsession into hatred for the Lich King, which is why he noticed Dalyan.

However, an accident thwarted her plans.

"Sister Queen, shall we help him?"

Pamela's compassion overflows. Immediately walked over to Sylvanas and pleaded.

She always changed her name, and sometimes she would call out Her Majesty when the undead were watching. But when I'm excited, it's easy to call my sister.

"Okay."

Sylvanas didn't refuse.

After asking Dalyan's address, the undead headed for the small village where he lived.

It is a village built outside the forest with a small lake next to it.

"Daintrian, that's my home, right there!"

Darian writhed in excitement, and he fell to the ground with a thud, his hands on the dirt as he sped forward.

"Hey, wait for me!"

Pamela chased after her with a few undead.

"Onexia, please."

After seeing the little ones leave, Sylvanas turned to the Black Dragon Princess and said.

"I know it's hateful, and I'll leave all the troubles to me."

Onexia grumbled, but turned and walked towards the lake.

Cries of grief were heard from the direction where Pamela and the others had gone. Sylvanas didn't know the outcome if he didn't go - it was just a pile of lifeless bones anyway.

She waited on a skeletal horse.

After a long time, the little skeleton walked back with his head down and a sad face.

"Sister"

Her jaw moved, but she couldn't say the words below.

"The human soul does not have to exist with the body, just like you, Pamela."

Sylvanas rolled over and dismounted. Gently patting the little skull's head:

"Important beliefs. Important items have the potential to keep the soul alive. ”

She saw Onexia coming up from the darkness and smiled.

Dalyan's wife's name is Daritaen, but she is still in this world. Attached to the wedding ring.

Next to the village is a forest, and after the undead left, the animals that came out of the forest ate the human corpses.

Daintellen's body was also eaten by the beast, and the ring on her hand was taken by the beast for unknown reasons, and then fell into the lake while drinking water.

Originally, Dalyan would not have found that thing for several years. But Sylvanas stumbles upon the ring while she is away, and her plans are ruined.

"Here you go."

Onexia tosses Sylvanas a black ring.

The edges are already rusty, and it is clearly not something precious.

"There's something in here?"

Pamela tilted her head, her sensitivity wasn't bad at all.

"yes, let's go."

Sylvanas walked to Dalyan's house with the ring in hand.

Entering through the corrupted door, the skeleton with broken legs was starlessly arranging the small pieces of bones.

The ring begins to glow.

"Dalyan."

A soft female voice came out of it, and out of it came the phantom of a young woman.

"Daintellen"

Dalyan turned his head stiffly, his eyes lit up in victory.

"Daintellen: I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"

He turned and crawled frantically, and knelt at Daintrien's feet:

"Woo, I'm not a good husband"

Not even a qualified father.

But Dalyan's later words were left unspoken. Daintrien's Phantom crouched and hugged him.

"Sure enough, I knew you woke up in a little pain."

She reached out and stroked the pale skull, not minding it at all and smiling horribly:

"So I stayed, to forgive you"

"Dalyan, neither the child nor I blame you, so please don't be so painful"

This is a beautiful woman. Gentle is not like words.

Dalyan looked at Datrian in a daze.

"Wow woo woo"

He didn't have tears, but the voice he made was crying.

The red light in the skeleton's eye sockets began to dim, then quickly shattered in a cry, and white bones scattered on the ground.

“”

Danteri stood up quietly.

"Thank you."

She bowed to Sylvanas. It also turned into white light and disappeared.

The ring was shattered.

"Did they leave?"

Pamela timidly took Rasilvanas's hand, afraid that she would answer in the negative.

"Yes. Losing their attachment and faith, they return to where they should be. ”

Sylvanas touched Pamela's head, but her eyes were in the air:

"Do you understand?"

"Whoever loses the purpose of their survival is going to be very vulnerable."

This was addressed to Kael'thas of the Well of the Sun—though he did not understand it now, but with this reminder he would sooner or later perceive it.

Draenor's Expeditionary Force has one of the most vulnerable people.

Sylvanas sets out on the journey again with the undead.

"Sister, I like them."

Pamela said suddenly, hugging her back from behind.

"Well, who?"

Sylvanas smiled.

"Undead, if only one day our companions would not cry."

Young germination.

The future may be different, but this girl still has the potential to become the new queen.

For only the fraternity, who is recognized by all the undead, can inherit the throne of Sylvanas.
