Chapter 406: The Expelled Illidan
After separating from Arthas, the Blood Elf trio continued their progress.
The road is surrounded by a miasma of green and black, and the atmosphere is as dark as the environment.
Kael'thas rode the Landing Choblin and turned to look at Aurelia with a straight face.
"You seem to be a little unhappy?"
He sighed in his heart, and then asked out loud.
ββ
Aurelia nodded slowly, her blue eyes staring at her:
"Your Highness, I understand that that deal can bring great benefits, but that is not a reason to let that death knight go."
"He summoned Akmund, the indirect murderer of Sylvanas!"
As she spoke, she began to get a little excited.
Kael'thas could understand the mood - if he could, how could he let Arthas go so easily?
However, this is not possible.
"Aurelia, did you know that Lordaeron has a Banshee King?"
Kael'thas looked down at the rotting ground in front of him and suddenly asked:
"Do you know who she is?"
Aurelia was stunned, she didn't understand why Kael'thas had suddenly spoken of it.
Perhaps the other half of Sylvanas's body has always been considered dead by her.
"I've heard of it, but does it matter who she is?"
Therefore, Aurelia still did not change her somewhat annoyed tone.
"She's Sylvanas."
Kael'tham's words instantly extinguished her annoyance.
Aurelia's eyes widened, stunned. Even forgot about what drives chocobos forward.
"Are you kidding?"
She came back to her senses and immediately rushed up, but her face was pale.
"No, I'm not kidding. The Banshee King is Sylvanas. β
Kael'thas throws a fireball that burns the carcasses of animals in his way. Then he answered:
"Before being buried, her soul was pumped out and she became the king of the banshees."
Neither Aurelia nor Valera knew about it.
"How could Hill, Hill"
The female ranger looked in a trance, first sad, and then her eyes lit up with a spark of hope little by little:
"So, she's still alive"
She was so excited that her hands trembled a little.
"Hmm. As long as the soul is there, one day I can make her fully alive. β
Kael'thas nodded, and said with a firm will:
"So now, we can't kill Arthas."
"This Death Knight is the person the Lich King values the most. Also Sylvanas' biggest cover. β
He did not go into more detail about the specific reasons.
As the story progresses, sooner or later, Illidan will shake the foundation of Neozu's grip on the undead, Arthas will return to the Savior in Northrend, and Sylvanas will be able to take advantage of this opportunity to free himself from the Lich King's control.
This is the most formal future, and Kael'thas cannot change it.
If he had killed Arthas, Sylvanas would have become the Lich King's go-to figure out for self-preservation, and he would never have been able to escape his control for the rest of his life.
Even if this prediction is uncertain, Kael'thas would rather keep Alsace than risk it.
"Your Highness, I apologize for my recklessness."
Aurelia calmed down.
Kael'thas said this. Although she didn't understand very well, she roughly understood his thoughts.
The atmosphere began to ease.
The three of them continued on their way, and then suddenly heard a distant roar.
A strong demonic aura erupted from afar, and then the earth shook several times.
[What's going on!] γ
Aurelia and Valera immediately calmed the panicked chocobo and looked at their prince.
They saw the joy on Kael'thas face.
"Illidan succeeded, that's Tikdios's voice."
Kael'thas explained.
Aurelia and the others reacted as well.
"The Dreadlord? Is it dead? β
They were overjoyed.
The three of them began to speed forward.
A few minutes later, they arrived at their destination, but hid.
The Night Elves are fighting the demons ahead.
"Where's the blind Night Elf?"
Valella glanced ahead, asking a little confused.
She didn't see Illidan.
Kael'thas felt it quietly.
"It looks like this is not the scene. Illidan is coming from the front. β
He said, pointing ahead.
In less than a minute, the screams of demons were heard from a distance, and a tall figure approached from afar.
It was a strange figure, with wings on his back that symbolized strength, a pair of huge horns on his forehead, and flaming hooves, like a demon, but with the appearance of a night elf.
"Your Highness, he won't be"
Aurelia's eyes were sharp, and she quickly leaned over the man and saw something.
"Hmm."
Kael'thas didn't wait for her to finish before he affirmed:
"He's Illidan, the Night Elf from before."
The elf, who had been emaciated in the morning, was now a tall, muscular half-demon, and the two changes could be described as earth-shatteringβbut Kael'thas was still more familiar with the appearance of Illidan.
What made him vaguely worried was that the power coming from Illidan's body couldn't even see through his half-body.
The power of a demigod?
If so, Kael'thas plans are a little more difficult.
[What to do?] γ
He began to think about how he could take advantage of this powerful Illidan.
At this time, Illidan came into contact with the Night Elves.
Some Night Elves wanted to attack, but were stopped by Tyrande.
"No, wait for you"
Her eyes widened in disbelief.
Without waiting for her to confirm. Malfurion roared.
"No, you demon, what did you do to my brother!"
He was vaguely aware of it, too. But that idea was directly ruled out.
"Malfurion, trust your eyes. I am Illidan. β
Illidan walked over, looked down at Malfurion, and said:
"I robbed a treasure and it became what it is."
He didn't regret the way he was now, but said with some joy.
"Look, great power, I have slain that demon who corrupted Felwood."
"The forest will soon be purified again."
The joy was not contagious to the Night Elves.
All the druids and night elves looked at Illidan with great fear and hatred. Disgusted by this demon man.
"Mentor, we must kill this traitor."
One of the druids said to Malfurion.
Malfurion was the first mortal druid in history, and it was he who passed the druid to the clan, so many druids called him a mentor.
"No, are you crazy?"
Illidan looked at this druid with angry eyes:
"I saved you!"
He saved the Night Elves several times. But every time he will be regarded as a traitor, he feels that the world is crazy.
But Malfurion's eyes weren't friendly enough to look at the younger brother.
"You're right, Illidan, yes, you're Illidan and you've always done anything for the sake of power."
Malfurry said coldly, and then looked around at the Night Elves around her:
"In any case, the fact that you saved Feywood is correct, and I will not kill you. But Illidan, I can't admit you anymore. β
"From now on, you are evicted. Expelled from the entire Night Elf race! β
Illidan's eyes widened.
He looked at Tyrande.
The Sacrifice of the Moon sighed, lowered his eyes and said nothing.
"Hahahaha, is it like banishing those upper elves?"
Illidan burst out laughing, and he laughed sarcastically and coldly:
"Will you expel anyone who does not like you?"
He laughed and laughed for a full minute before stopping.
"So be it, my brother."
Illidan became calm, eerily calm, and he spoke lightly to Malfurion, then turned and left.
No one kept him.
"Malfurion"
Tyrande turned to look at her husband.
"Don't talk to me about him, Tyrande has nothing to do with us anymore"
Malfurion shook his head with a complicated expression.
"I knew he was going to get to this point. That's why he was locked up for 10,000 years. β
"But I didn't expect it"
The aversion to magic and demons is so ingrained in the Night Elves that they rarely think about whether they are doing the right thing.
After another ten minutes, the Night Elves had destroyed the remaining demons and left for Mount Hyjal again.
The three Kael'thas walked out.
"That druid is so ruthless."
Not even bothering to say the name, Aurelia directly commented in a cold tone.
She is the opposite of Malfurion, and cherishes her loved ones unusually.
When Kael'thas said that the Banshee King was Sylvanas, Aurelia was not shaken by her identity, but was just happy.
Relatively speaking, Malfurion is too absolute.
"Maybe the Night Elves have always had good intentions."
Looking at the direction in which the Night Elves had gone, Kael'thas also shook his head:
"But what they're doing is so extreme."
Whether in antiquity or in the present, all contact between magic and demons has always been the Night Elves.
"But Your Highness, where shall we go now?"
Aurelia regrouped and asked:
"Do you want to continue to follow Illidan? Wouldn't his direction be different from that of Mount Hyjal, and that wouldn't affect our trade with the Death Knight? β
The place where Illidan is heading is supposed to be the territory of the Night Elves, and he wants to steal the water from the Well of Eternity.
Kael'thas thought for a moment.
"Follow him first, you should be able to get back in time."
He then made a decision.
In fact, the well water in Illidan was more important than the deal with Alsace.
If you can catch up with the best, you won't lose much if you can't catch up.
The trio of Blood Elves left Feywood and continued to follow Illidan from afar.
And Akmund, then came to Felwood.
When he saw Tikdios's body, his whole body was furious.
"Those mortals have me off and are ready to attack."
"The corrupted energy here is enough for us to summon more than 100,000 powerful demons!" (To be continued.) If you like this work, you are welcome to vote for recommendation and monthly passes, and your support is my biggest motivation. )
