Chapter Forty-Six: Run

Falling from a high altitude is not a good experience, and it is still in a state of surprise. Julius only felt that he was suddenly weightless, and that the place where he had landed had been removed. He reacted when he fell, and his body shrunk into a ball to protect himself.

Julius didn't get too much of a shock after falling to the ground, but the sound of the pipe falling made his ears a little uncomfortable. After falling, there was no time for him to lie down like this, he immediately got up, and saw that Lei had already stood up and was looking around. Her little face was tense with nervousness, and her forehead was sweating, looking for a route to escape.

There were ways out on both sides of the severed pipe, one side was close to the two black-robed ones on that side, and the other side was just on the other side of the space, and there seemed to be an exit on that side.

Without saying a word, Lei ran over there, Julius following closely behind. After the two of them ran out of the pipe, the black-robed people finally saw what the two big rats were. "It's two people...... Has this place become a place where everyone can enter and exit, and not a so-called dangerous forbidden place?"

The young black-robed man shouted at Julius, "Stop, you rats!"

Julius felt that only a fool would stop at such a time, and he didn't think he needed to listen to someone who shouted rats to others, and Rei should have thought the same, so she didn't stop running at all.

"Warn the others, an outsider has broken in!" The voice of the old black-robed man also came from behind them, and then the young voice, "Now it's just the two of us underground, if you want the others to rush back, then these two rats have already run away!"

That's a good thing for Julius and Leigh, it means they just need to get rid of the people behind them, not the people in front of them. Of course, it wasn't all good, there was a violent wind behind them, the same wind that had cut the pipe that had just made them fall.

"Split!"

Just a short syllable can make people's hearts beat faster, and their feet are full of energy, and they run forward desperately.

The wind that flowed from the young black robes blew towards Julius and Lei. If it was just an ordinary gale, it would have made the skin ache and hair fly at best, but the whistling wind was not such a gentle thing - it had cut the pipe they were in just now.

Julius stood behind Lei, and the wind rushed into his ears. He turned around, drew his sword, and swung it into the air. When his iron sword swung down, it seemed to be slashed into an invisible object, raised slightly, and was pressed back. He held the sword in both hands and pressed it down.

Something was chopped open by him, split in half, and rushed to either side of him and Rei, then crashed into the walls and floor. Terrible cracks appeared on the walls and floors, and rubble and dust hung over Julius's surroundings.

Julius didn't cut down the real intangible, but the spell of the young black robe. When he slashed at the invisible object, Julius also knew what the young black robe was using - judging from the feel of the slash, it was a blade formed by the wind, but this blade was invisible and transparent, and the impact was far greater than that of an ordinary warrior.

If he was slashed by this wind blade, not to mention whether he would be divided into two parts, there was no doubt that he would be seriously injured, and if he lost his mobility, he could only lie in this strange place and wait for death. If Rei was touched by this wind blade...... He didn't dare to imagine what a tragic picture it was.

Julius kicked on the gravel that had fallen to the ground, and the rubble flew out in front of his foot, smashing into the black robe that was running towards him. He also picked up a few stones from the ground and threw them at the man who had used the spell on them.

Of course, this little thing couldn't stop the young black robe, but it was enough for Julius to run away behind Lei. He couldn't use his spells in quick succession, or he would have chopped off Julius and Lei's feet with the Wind Blade. Using a pre-prepared scroll spell was also an option, but he didn't think he needed to use such a valuable item on two rats, it would be a waste.

Julius and Rei ran away, but the young black robe was not too anxious and quickly followed, and behind him, the old black robe followed by him. There were many bright white balls of light around the elder, the same light source as the space around. The ball of light beside him flew out, following Julius and the others who had run away. There were many orbs of light and of different sizes, not just following Julius and them, but some of them rushed to other places, illuminating the whole place.

The two black robes followed Julius out of the space where the huge device was located, and outside were intricate passages leading in all directions, each fork in which was lit by the faint light of torches, but after leaving the firelight, it was a gray passage. It was for this reason that the old black robe emitted a large number of balls of light, to illuminate the entire area.

This illuminated spell isn't lethal, but at times like this, it works better than any powerful spell. These light sources are not static, they will patrol the area, and if they can sense living things, then he can also perceive the same effect, the effect is similar to that of the demon, that is, it needs to consume a lot of mana at once, and it is not as flexible as the demon...... Of course, demons will occasionally betray, and the composition of these spells will not have the consciousness of betrayal.

"They're running in the direction of the lake!" said the old black-robed young man. The young man who heard this smiled, "You actually ran to the area on the other side of the lake...... These rats were really unlucky, so they chose a dead end with no turning back. ”

That being said, but if these rats are allowed to run around, their position as the "stewards" of this place is not very good. And there are many places in this place where they need to put the tools and devices they need to use, and if Julius and Rei wreak havoc everywhere, they will have to bear the losses themselves, which is definitely not what they want to see.

The few remaining balls of light around the elder dispersed into smaller shapes, from a few to dozens, and then joined together into a floating ray of light, moving in one of the directions.
