Chapter 19: The Emerald Dream
Moon Shadow looked in the direction of the figure, and there was a hint of anticipation and joy in her eyes. The figure galloped and stopped next to Moon Shadow, needless to say that it was Lilith, her green hair as vibrant as the leaves of a tree in the forest fluttering in the wind, and her pale green eyes were like clear lake water, with some excitement and joy for reunion. She wears a small white leather armor on her upper body, and some ornaments on her body and hooves, which are a little more mature than before.
"It's been a long time since I've seen you! Oh, the little one has grown so big, too! Do you miss your sister? After Lilith glanced around the group, she stared at Moon Shadow with both eyes, and with a smile on the corner of her mouth, she stretched out her index finger and flicked Moon Shadow's forehead and said.
There was a hint of a smile in Moonshadow's eyes, and he was very happy to see Lilith again. But it's harder to get him to say I thought about it or something. Then he said, "Long time no see." Then I couldn't remember what to say.
"Is the teacher back?" Malfurion asked first. He was more concerned about this issue, and he had encountered many problems in the cultivation of the Druid Way over the years, and he really wanted to consult the teacher as soon as possible.
"When you come back, he asked me to take you there, and a few minotaurs arrived before you, but they found us on their own." Lilith said with a smile.
"Well, let's go!" Tyrande nodded.
"Oh, little one, tell my sister how you're doing this year." Lilith said with a smile as she rubbed Moon Shadow's hair.
After walking and talking, they walked west for about half an hour, and they reached the entrance to a cave. There were a lot of creatures around the cave that looked almost exactly like Cenarius, but they weren't as tall as Cenarius, and Lilith said that they were her brothers, the Guardian of the Forest, who had always lived here, and that this was where Cenarius was born. Lilith led them into the cave, and along the way, they met many dryads and forest guardians, and saw hundreds of them in total, and Moon Shadow couldn't help but admire Cenarius's reproductive ability.
There was a very large space in the deepest part of the cavern, and it was here that Cenarius was waiting for them. The ten-foot-tall body almost hit the roof of the cave, with huge antlers and hair and whiskers mixed with leaves and twigs. Cenarius's upper body may resemble an elf, but the lower body resembles a strong stag. He walked around with ease, his steps as brisk and athletic as any student's. He's fast and powerful. You can see the vitality of this land in him. He is the son of the land and at the same time its father, for he is the one who has made it all this.
"You're here." Cererius' golden eyes swept towards a few people, and his voice was like thunder. Several people walked up to Cenarius and hurriedly saluted.
"From the first time I saw you, I knew your progress. Especially you Malfurion. Cenarius looked at Malfurion with a hint of relief in his eyes.
"Teacher, you have won the award, and Illidan has also improved a lot." Malfurion busied.
"Let's not get busy talking about this yet." Cenarius turned to look at the Moonshadow. "I feel a very strong aura of magic in you, do you know that magical energy is the source of chaos, and how harmful it can be if you misuse it?"
"What's going on? Aren't the elves using magic all the time? Illidan couldn't help but wonder.
"Well, that's it, teacher!" Malfurion also asked with some curiosity.
"Magic is a method discovered by the elves to harness the energy of the Well of Eternity, the source of energy created by the Titans to seal away demons from the depths of the earth and protect all of Azeroth. If abused, it may not only cause the seal to weaken and release the demons in the center of the earth, but also attract the attention of the demons in the Endless Void, which is a catastrophe that all of Azeroth cannot bear. I have often admonished the elves from above, but they have always taken my words as a joke. Someday they will brew consequences that they cannot afford. Cenarius said earnestly. Everyone didn't notice that as Cenarius said this, Moonshadow's face changed several times.
"But Teacher, the elves have been using magic for tens of thousands of years. Isn't it okay all the time? Illidan asked, frowning.
"Well, it's because they're the ones you think they're scary. Especially in the last 10,000 years, the elves have been abusing magic more and more. Not only me, but other demigods and guardian dragons are starting to pay attention to this. Cenarius shook his head, a little helpless in his voice.
"So what do we do? Teacher. Malfurion asked.
"That's why I chose you, when you've learned a lot, I'll go to the elves to spread my teachings, so that they can get closer to the power of nature, and reduce the urgency of using magic." Cenarius sighed again, "Go back first!" I'll teach you something new tomorrow. ”
They didn't notice that Moon Shadow hadn't said a word from beginning to end, and after the crowd had saluted, they retreated, and Cenarius turned to see that there was another figure left in its place, and that was Moon Shadow. "Is there anything else you can do?" Cenarius asked.
"I have something to tell you." Moon Shadow pondered for a moment before saying.
Seeing that Moon Shadow had come to tell him something, Cenarius nodded with some curiosity. Moon Shadow faintly told Cenarius what his consciousness in the Well of Eternity in the green space had said to him, and he had thought about this decision for a long time, until he heard Cenarius's words just now, and finally made up his mind.
"Looks like I'm too late, alas!" Cenarius let out a long sigh.
"Teacher, do you have a solution?" Moon Shadow asked cautiously.
"I can't think of it for the time being, I'll have to talk to some old friends, if only you could know a little more clearly." Cenarius rubbed his forehead and said in annoyance.
"Then teacher, I'll go out first." Cenarius nodded, and Moon Shadow slowly exited the cave after saluting.
It is a thriving and primeval forest: if it were not for the interference of the intelligent races, then Azeroth should have developed into such a world. This forest is called the Emerald Dream, also known as the Dream Realm, the Dream of Creation.
The Emerald Dream is what Azeroth originally looked like. It is a reflection of Azeroth's appearance before it was transformed by intelligent beings. The land here is beautiful and pure - with rolling hills, dense jungles, and vast grasslands. Flora and fauna enjoy boundless freedom here. Even the mountains embrace lush vegetation and calm valleys. It's a place where no elements roam around, no great energy changes the landscape.
A paradise like Emerald Dream is actually in the same position as Azeroth, like a world that has no trace overlapping with Azeroth. When a person stands in a special position in Azeroth, he is able to touch the same location in the Emerald Dream, which allows him to move quickly between the two planes. Thus, when an individual enters the Emerald Dream Realm, he does not perform physical movements, but has already crossed the invisible nodules, as if the door curtain had opened in front of him.
Although Azeroth and its twins had never been in contact, they shared the same sun, tides, sky, stars, and other primitive things. So, the same goes for the passage of time, and solar eclipses, lunar eclipses, and comets have also been shown to occur on both at the same time
The Emerald Dream is under the protection of the guardian green dragon Ysera. Ever since the Titans shaped the world of Azeroth, they have plunged Ysera into an eternal myth and instructed her to monitor everything in the world of Azeroth from her emerald dreams. As a result, the Green Dragons guard every portal that leads to the Emerald Dream, and they are always on the lookout for the scenery of the world of Azeroth and its corresponding visions. Even with their eyes closed, the green dragons are able to perceive their surroundings completely and clearly through this magical vision known as dream vision.
Unlike the world of Azeroth, the Emerald Dream is a spiritual realm, not a physical one. Any creature that enters the Emerald Dream will have an effect on the Emerald Dream on a small scale, but this is only temporary, as the underlying structure of the Emerald Dream will inevitably repair itself. Even Ysera couldn't change the Emerald Dream permanently, and in fact, she didn't want to. Ysera didn't control the Emerald Dream; On the contrary, a closer version would be that the Emerald Dream controls Ysera. The Emerald Dream serves as a stable guide to Ysera, who uses it to regulate the workings of nature and the direction of evolution of the world itself.
In the middle of the forest, Cenarius was respectfully talking to a woman. To be able to make the king of the forest so respectful, it can be seen that this person's identity is definitely not ordinary.
"Azeroth's defenses were perfectly created by the Titans, and I'm wondering how the demons of the Void will get through this perfect barrier to this world." The green-haired figure said lightly, she was a tall Night Elf female figure, with a noble and sacred aura all over her body, and her face was delicate and graceful. However, the two slender dragon horns on her head indicate her identity, she is a dragon, the great queen of the green dragons, the mistress of the Emerald Dream Ysera, and the adoptive mother of Cenarius.
"I don't know, but my student knows for sure that the consciousness of the Well of Eternity tells him so." Cenarius shook his head.
"I didn't expect the Well of Eternity to give birth to consciousness, just like this place, the Titans really like to cause trouble for us." The Green Dragon Queen looked at the emerald green sky and said slowly.
"Mother, what do I need to do now?" Cenarius asked.
"Leave this matter to me, and I'll talk to the other guardian dragons." Ysera said lightly.
"And I'm going to contact some other ancient demigods?" Cenarius asked, looking at Isera with an inquiring look. Ysera looked at Cenarius and nodded, "Bring that little fellow, I want to see him." Cenarius nodded and disappeared into space.
