Chapter 45 Conspiracy

Section I

On Christmas morning, Sauron walked out of the room, and there was already a pile of gifts at the door. The common room was empty, the fire in the fireplace was crackling, and Phobertor had arrived at some point, landing on the back of a couch. At the sight of Sauron, it flew over and lay on Sauron's shoulder.

Sauron looked at the Christmas presents with interest, and each of Harry gave him a large bag of sweets and snacks, most of which ended up cheapening the Dark Phoenix on his shoulder; Epikos and Draco each gave him a rare book of magic; Isabella gave him a rather delicate bracelet, the silver threads were woven into a delicate pattern, and Sauron could feel her breath from it, which must have been made by Isabella herself, and it took her a lot of energy; But the most conspicuous of the gifts was from Fleur - a large rose-red heart-shaped box containing pieces of chocolate, the middle of which was made in the shape of a dragon.

The chocolate was seductively aromatic, and Phobertol chirped excitedly, his eyes fixed on the box, and Sauron glanced sideways at it.

"I can't give it to you, Fabertol." Sauron said, clasping the box up, "This is mine. ”

Forbertol chirped in displeasure, pecked Sauron's ear demonstratively, and then flew to the fireplace, and disappeared into the flames with a thud - to Fleur.

Sauron waved his wand, and the gifts flew to Sauron's house, and after packing his things, Sauron hesitated and put the bracelet Isabella had given him on his left wrist.

In the hall of the Great Hall, Sauron met Harry and the three, Harry and Ron looked excited, while Hermione stood awkwardly and not very happy.

"Merry Christmas." Sauron laughed and said, "Something happened, you look like you're excited. ”

"A firebolt," Harry said pleasantly, "someone gave me a firebolt." ”

"Hmm." Sauron was a little surprised, he knew very well the value of that broomstick, "Who sent it?" ”

"I don't know." Harry shook his head, looking a little confused, "The gift didn't come with a letter and wasn't signed. ”

"I guess it's probably Dumbledore." Ron said, glancing at Hermione defiantly, "It's Lupin, but I don't think it's likely him." ”

"yes, it shouldn't be him." Harry nodded, "He knows Sauron gave me another 2000 Lightwheel." ”

Sauron frowned, this was also a bit unexpected for him, and he thought silently for a moment.

"Harry, can I take a look at a broomstick?" Sauron said calmly. Harry and Ron's eyes widened in disbelief, and Hermione smirked.

"Hi, Sauron." Ron was a little helpless, "Do you think that the broom was sent by Sirius, and that it was cast with dark magic or something?" ”

"There's nothing wrong with being careful, isn't it?" Sauron shrugged, "Don't worry, just check it out, it's easy." ”

Harry hesitated for a moment, then nodded reluctantly. The four of them returned to the Gryffindor Tower, with Sauron, Ron, and Hermione outside the door, while Harry ran upstairs, and after a while hurried down again, broom in hand.

"Look, that's it." Harry handed over the firebolt in his hand.

Sauron took it and glanced at it roughly, and I have to say that it was indeed an extremely beautiful flying broomstick, and even a layman like Sauron could see that it was extraordinary.

"Let's go, let's go outside." Sauron handed the broomstick back to Harry, "Go to the Quidditch pitch, we'll check it out there." ”

Hermione wanted to say something, but glanced at Ron and didn't speak. The four of them walked through the empty castle and all the way to the Quidditch pitch. Ron walked a little staggeringly, in a weird posture.

"Does your foot still hurt, Ron?" Harry asked, "Would you like to take a look at Madam Pomfrey?" ”

"Nothing." Ron muttered, "It's all to blame on that pesky cat." ”

"That's not Crookshank's fault." Hermione said dissatisfiedly, "You've always been biased against it. ”

"Hmph." Ron snorted, "But it's always staring at Spotted, isn't it?" It has bad intentions, and you turn a blind eye. ”

Hermione waited for him with a huffing look, turning her head to ignore Ron, and Harry looked a little helpless.

"Madara's recent form has been very bad." Ron said with some concern, "It looks nervous, a little nervous. Running around all day and not knowing where to hide. ”

Sauron glanced at him and raised an eyebrow slightly, not knowing what he was thinking.

Soon, the four of them made their way through the snow-covered campus to the Quidditch pitch, where there was no one either, and the four of them stood in the open field, looking very small.

Sauron took the broomstick, pulled out his wand, and tapped it lightly on various parts of the firebolt, whispering incantations in his mouth. Then, Sauron closed his eyes, he let go of his hand, and the broom floated in the air on its own, shrouded in a faint yellow fluorescent.

Harry and Ron stood and watched, neither of them saying a word, their expressions very nervous, and it was like this for a while. Thankfully, nothing happened, and Sauron opened his eyes, and the broom fell back into his hand, intact.

"Is it all right, Sauron?" Harry asked cautiously.

Sauron shook his head, he handed the broom to Harry, "You ride him around a few laps......"

"Harry can't ride it." Hermione said sharply, "If there's a curse on this......"

Sauron interrupted her with a wave of his hand and said calmly, "I know what I'm doing. He looked at Harry, "Ride it around the pitch a few times, and remember to jump off if something goes wrong." ”

Harry and Ron's eyes widened in surprise. "Jump, jump down?" Harry said uncertainly.

"Don't worry." Sauron knew what Harry was thinking, "It's going to be fine, I'll catch you with a spell." ”

Harry hesitated, but chose to believe Sauron. He stepped onto the fire bolt and slammed into the sky. Harry was a little nervous at first, but after a while he felt that nothing was out of the ordinary, so he flew up boldly, hovering quickly in the air, maneuvering.

On the ground, Sauron stared at Harry's figure intensely, his hand holding his wand unrelenting. After a while, Sauron turned to Harry in the air, "All right, Harry, come down. ”

Sauron didn't speak loudly, but Harry heard it clearly in the air, and he lunged down on his broomstick, came to a nice hover as he got close to the ground, and came to a steady stop.

"It's okay now." Sauron said lightly.

"Are you sure?" Hermione questioned, "I mean, maybe it's too hasty, maybe some very subtle curse or something." ”

Sauron raised an eyebrow, "Do you think I'm going to joke about my brother's safety, or do you think you're better than me at this?" ”

Hermione looked embarrassed, her face flushed, and there was a faint glint of tears in her eyes. Ron snorted, and Harry looked at Sauron with some embarrassment, feeling that Sauron's words were a bit excessive.

Sauron ignored it, "Alright, we should go back, it's no fun to stand here in the cold wind in the middle of winter." With that, he turned around and left.

Hermione finally burst into tears, and she turned her head in the direction of Hagrid's hut.

"Hermione!" Harry shouted anxiously, but the little girl ignored him.

"Leave her alone." Ron muttered, but softly, "Well, she's going to be fine, right?" ”

"What do you think?" Harry glared at him apprehensively, turning to Hermione. Ron was stunned for a moment, gritted his teeth, and ran to follow......

Sauron made a straight return to the castle, but instead of going to the Slytherin lounge, he walked towards the Gryffindor Tower.

In the empty corridor, Sauron's footsteps were obvious and clear, as he walked, Sauron's face slowly changed slightly, his originally smooth hair became a little messy, his face was not so pale, and on his forehead, a lightning-shaped scar gradually emerged, and by the time he reached the door of the Gryffindor common room, Sauron had become exactly the same as Harry, only the cold light in his eyes did not change.

He walked over to the hole in the portrait, where Sir Cadogan was celebrating Christmas with two monks, several former Headmasters of Hogwarts, and his fat dwarf. He pushed his helmet up and toasted them with a jug of mead.

"Merry Christmas-oh-oh! Password?"

"Dirty mongrel dogs." Sauron said that this was what Sauron had heard when Harry had just gone to fetch a broom.

The painting leaned forward, revealing the hole in the back, and Sauron leaned in. It was Sauron's first visit to the Gryffindor common room, but Sauron didn't spend much time looking around, noticing that there was no one else in the room, so he dissolved into a black mist, dissipated into the air, and floated silently up the stairs.

Following that induction, Sauron found Harry's bedroom, where there was no one either. Sauron appeared, and in the middle of nowhere, the pendant flew back into his hand on its own. Black flames rose from Sauron's hands, and the pendant acted like a sponge, quickly absorbing all the black flames into it.

Sauron tossed it lightly, and the pendant flew back into the dark corner. Sauron looked out of the window on the wall, and in the square in front of the castle, the three Harry and the three were walking towards the castle. Sauron glanced at the corner where the pendant was, sneered slightly, and leisurely returned to the common room, and after exiting the hole, it turned into black mist and disappeared without a trace......
