Chapter 10: Contempt
Section I
Sauron did not stay at the Weasleys, as there were not enough rooms in the Burrow, and Sauron was not used to living in the same bedroom with others, so he declined Mr. Weasley's invitation and returned to the old Oak Road mansion. For the next few days, Sauron only occasionally went to the Burrow to accompany Harry during the day, and returned to the mansion at night.
Soon, a notification letter arrived from Hogwarts for the new school year, and on September 1 I took the Hogwarts Express train from King's Cross Station to the school. Sauron glanced at the book list for the new semester and frowned, the textbook for the Defence Against the Dark Arts class is seven books that resemble third-rate adventure novels, and their authors are all Gildero? Lockhart. Sauron searched his memory, but he didn't have any impression of this person, he didn't think he was a powerful person, so he didn't care about it.
Early that morning, Sauron arrived at Tumbledown Alley. He hadn't been to the Burginbock store in a long time, and today he decided to get here to see if there was anything to use before going to Diagon Alley to buy books. To his surprise, Sauron pushed open the door and saw that Draco and his son were also in the store, Draco was casually looking at the products on display, and Lucius was talking to Borgin. Finding that someone had come in the store again, the three of them were stunned for a moment. When they saw that it was Sauron, the three of them had different expressions - Draco was nervous, Borgin was scared, and Lucius had a polite smile on his face.
"Mr. Potter, it's a pleasure to see you here." Lucius said in his characteristic calm tone, "Drake has spoken of you, and he thinks you are a good Slytherin. ”
"It's an equally privileged to meet you, Mr. Malfoy. You are also often mentioned by Drake, who is an excellent father and a noble nobleman. Sauron said to Lucius with the same smile.
Sauron and Lucius exchanged half-truths with each other, both consciously not asking why they were here, while Draco stood behind his father, looking cautious. As for Bokin, he didn't say a word, just a flattering smile on his face.
"Mr. Potter, it was a pleasure to meet you today, and we look forward to seeing you next time." Lucius said with a smile, then turned to Bogin, "Goodbye, Mr. Bogin, I'll be waiting for you at home tomorrow." Draco, let's go, I'll take you to buy books later. With that, he took Drak and left.
"Dear Mr. Potter, it's a pleasure to see you again." Bokin's tone was as smooth as ever, "What do you want to see today?" ”
"Do you have anything new here?" Sauron's voice was not as dark as it had just been, and it made Bojin nervous. "Of course, don't take out those boring little tricks."
"Yes, yes, you're satisfied." Bo Jin smiled flatteringly and took out a book, "You see, this book was newly acquired a few days ago, and it records some very powerful magic. ”
Sauron flipped through the book and raised an eyebrow. "How much?" Sauron said coldly.
"Hehe, this is a very precious book......" Bo Jin saw Sauron look at him coldly, and immediately changed his words: "Of course, you are an old customer, and 80 Galleons are sold to you cheaply." ”
Sauron didn't say anything, pulling out a bag of gold coins and throwing it on the counter. The smile on Bogin's face became even more pronounced, and he continued: "There are a few other things that are definitely worth the money. ”
Sauron nodded, and Borgin turned and went into the room inside to get something. As soon as Borgin left, Sauron walked straight to a large cabinet by the wall and violently opened the door—Harry was standing inside, looking nervously at him. Harry was about to speak, but Sauron pulled him out of Borgin's shop with a cold face.
Out of Bogin's shop, Sauron dragged Harry a long way away before letting him go. He stared at Harry, "What are you doing here?" ”
"I came from the Burrow with Ron and them with Floo Powder, and it went wrong and came out of the fireplace here." Harry said nervously, "This is, it doesn't look like Diagon Alley." ”
"It's Diagon Alley, and it's all about selling forbidden magical items." Sauron frowned, and as he spoke, he swung his wand at Harry, sweeping the soot off his body.
"And what about you, why are you here?" Harry asked curiously.
"I'm a regular customer here." Sauron said calmly, "Alright, now let's go, it's not a good thing for people to find out that you're there." ”
Sauron led Harry towards Diagon Alley, where a number of eerie wizards looked at the two with bad intentions, but left in a panic after Sauron glanced at them coldly. Harry followed closely behind Sauron, fearing that he would be left behind.
"Listen, Harry." Sauron said as he walked, "Don't come here alone until you're strong enough. There are a lot of vile and sinister wizards here, and they are dangerous to you. ”
"Aren't they dangerous to you?"
"For me?" Sauron glanced back at Harry and said in a contemptuous tone, "It's just an ant." ”
Harry was dumbfounded.
At the gates of Gringotts, Sauron and Harry met Hermione, who had seen them from afar and ran over to meet them. Soon, Ron, Fred, George, Patsy, and Mr. Weasley were brisking down the crowded streets.
"Harry," Mr. Weasley gasped, "I hope you've only missed one furnace door."
Mrs. Weasley hurried to this direction, her handbag swinging violently in one hand; Ginny took her other hand and struggled to follow. "Oh, Harry—oh, dear—you could go anywhere—" she said breathlessly. Sauron took Harry's glasses, used a little magic, and gave them back like new.
"Where did you come from?" Mrs. Weasley asked.
"Out of Tumbledown Alley." Harry said as he glanced at Sauron.
"Cool." Fred and George spoke in unison, and Mrs. Weasley glared at them.
"It's not a good place, but luckily you came back safely." Mrs. Weasley said worriedly.
Sauron and his party went to Gringotts to withdraw money, and Harry, Ron, and Hermione were surprised to see Sauron withdraw money from his own vault. After withdrawing the money, they parted on the steps outside Gringotts, Mrs. Weasley took Ginny to buy robes, Patsy muttered about buying a quill, Fred and George ran to buy magic tricks, and Mr. Weasley insisted on having Hermione's parents go for a drink.
Sauron wanted to go shopping on his own, but fearing that Harry, Ron, and Hermione would be driven by curiosity to run to Tumbledown Alley, he wandered aimlessly with the three of them.
"Harry, what's Tumbledown Alley like?" Ron asked. "Mom said they all sell black magic supplies,"
"Almost." Harry muttered, then looked at Sauron carefully, "Terrible place. And I saw Malfoy and his father in the store there. ”
Ron's eyes widened, "What are they doing there?" ”
Harry was about to speak, but when he saw Sauron look at him coldly, he said weakly, "I don't know, I didn't hear clearly. ”
Ron let out a bored groan, and Hermione glanced back and forth at Sauron and Harry.
An hour later, they walked towards the Blotted bookstore and were surprised to find a large group of people standing at the door. A large banner was pulled upstairs: "Gidero? Lockhart signed his autobiography "I Can Magic" from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. today.
Hermione was excited, exclaiming, "We can meet him!" ”。 Sauron frowned.
The crowd at the door was very dense, it was difficult for them to squeeze in, Sauron walked in front, raised his wand, and the dense crowd in front of him seemed to be squeezed out by a strong man, giving them a narrow passageway, Hermione and the others were surprised, and happily followed Sauron into the house. The zigzag line runs from the doorway to the back of the bookstore, where Gilderoy Lockhart signs books. They each grabbed a copy of "Breaking with the Female Ghost" and went to the place where the Weasleys and the Granger were in line.
"Oh, you're here, that's great." Mrs. Weasley said. She was breathing heavily, and kept patting her hair. "We'll see him in a moment......"
Sauron flipped through the book "Breaking with the Female Ghost" in his hand, and let out a laugh from time to time.
Gradually, they saw Gilderoy Lockhart. He sat behind his desk, surrounded by large photographs of himself of faces all blinking at the crowd and showing their teeth dazzling white. The real Lockhart wears a robe as blue as a forget-me-not flower, matching his blue eyes. The peaked wizard's hat is playfully crooked over a curly hair.
A short, grumpy man holding a large black camera jumped up and down to take pictures in front of him. Every time the flash flashes blindly, puffs of purple smoke erupt from the camera.
"Get out of the way," he yelled at Ron, backing away for a better angle, "this was for the Daily Prophet." ”
"It's amazing." Ron said, rubbing the instep of the man's foot.
Gildero? Lockhart heard. He looked up and saw Ron, then Harry. He stared at Harry for a moment, then jumped up and shouted, "Isn't this Harry Potter?"
The crowd moved out of the way, whispering excitedly. Lockhart rushed forward and grabbed Harry's arm to pull him forward.
"Let go, idiot." Sauron's voice came coldly.
Lockhart was stunned, and so was the crowd around him. Seeing Sauron's face and cold expression like Harry, Lockhart's face was filled with confusion and embarrassment, while most of the people around him were whispering, and some were gasping. Harry stood there dumbfounded, bewildered.
"Haha, I'm sorry." Lockhart tried to regain his habitual smile, but was still a little nervous under Sauron's gaze, "Well, who are you?" I mean, you look a lot like the famous Harry Potter, are you brothers? Lockhart tried to ease the atmosphere, but Sauron only sneered contemptuously.
The man with the camera held up his camera to capture the astonishing scene. Sauron noticed it, turned his head to look at the man, and without warning, the camera in the man's hand suddenly burst into a cloud of sparks and burned it.
Sauron looked at Lockhart, then at the book in his hand, threw it on the ground, and turned to walk out the door. The person behind him automatically dodged a way, and Sauron left the bookstore like this.

After Sauron left, it took a long time for the atmosphere to become lively again. I have to admit, Gildero? Lockhart has a knack for livening up the atmosphere. Of course, because of Sauron, Lockhart gave up on the idea of taking Harry for a photoshoot.
After buying the book, Harry and the others met the Malfoy father and son, and Mr. Malfoy and Mr. Weasley, who were extremely disgusted with each other, got into a fight in the bookstore, and finally pulled the two apart until Hagrid arrived.
Coming out of the bookstore, Mrs. Weasley complains about Mr. Weasley's public fight, while Hermione and Harry whisper about Sauron.
"He shouldn't have done that." Hermione was a little annoyed and said, "Look, Lockhart just wanted Rahari to take a picture, I think Sauron went too far, and that would have a bad impact." ”
"But Harry doesn't like photography, Sauron just doesn't want to embarrass Harry." Ron said, "And I guess the man's camera was destroyed by Sauron as well." ”
"But Sauron would get into trouble if he did that, he had a very bad effect, and the Ministry of Magic wouldn't allow us to cast spells outside of the school." Hermione emphasized unconvinced.
"I don't think Sauron cares." Harry said uncertainly, "It was Dursley's turn to celebrate my birthday that day, and I got into an argument with Aunt Vernon, and he blew up the doors and walls of Dursley's house, and the Ministry of Magic sent him a warning letter, but he didn't care, and threw it into the fireplace." ”
Ron and Hermione were amazed.
"Sauron is so cool." Ron said with a look of envy. Hermione was a little angry. "Only those evil dark wizards defy the law," she said, "and Sauron should not have done so. ”
Harry's face was a little ugly, and he said stiffly, "But he's my brother, and he blew up the door of Dursley's house to celebrate my birthday." I see you're only disgusted with Lockhart because Sauron can't get him off the stage, and don't forget, he saved all three of us at the same time. ”
"yes, with evil black magic." Hermione muttered angrily, and Harry turned his head angrily.
Ron looked at the two angry people, helpless. But by the time they returned to the Leaky Cauldron, everyone had calmed down. The Hermione family separated from them and went back to the Muggle street on the other side of the city, while the Weasleys had to transport a large amount of their purchases back to the Burrow via Guò Floo Powder.
For the rest of the day, Harry stayed at the Weasley house, and Sauron agreed, but he rarely visited the Burrow himself, only occasionally to see Harry. Sauron asks Mr. Weasley to help investigate the pokemon, Dobby, but Mr. Weasley says that the Magical Beasts control staff have no clue, and some of them think it's just a harmless joke. As for what happened that day at the Blotted Bookstore, it didn't appear in the newspaper news at all, as if it had never happened.
Sauron spends most of his time in the old mansion, meditating on magic, occasionally writing letters to Fleur in France, and Phobertor often flies out of the fireplace and screams merrily as he flies inside the house - apparently Fleur has indulged in drinking too much wine, and then brings Fleur's letter or brings Sauron's letter back.
On this day, Sauron had just come out of the basement after concocting a dangerous potion to see the black owl of Epikos landing on the balcony window. Sauron took the letter the owl had brought, and the owl flapped its wings and flew away. Sauron opened the letter, and on the letter was Ibikos' handwriting: "Your Highness, I have not been able to get the authorization to go to Azkaban to meet Sirius. Connelly? Fudge was uncharacteristically resolute in this matter. "The inscription is "Your faithful Ibikos"
Sauron frowned, learning that Sirius was innocent, and Sauron tried to get Sirius, the godfather of Sauron and Harry, out of Azkaban. Connelly? Fudge was a weak man, and Sauron did not expect that even with the connections of the Guò Epikos family, he would not be able to convince the admittedly incompetent Minister of Magic. Thinking of this, Sauron had no choice but to sneak into Azkaban with his strength and help Sirius escape from prison, but that meant a complete turn against the Ministry of Magic, although Sauron was very powerful, he understood that the chips in his hand were not enough now, and the Ministry of Magic was very jealous of him, but if Sauron really openly confronted the Ministry of Magic, the magic cloth would still make trouble for him.
"It's not time yet." Sauron thought helplessly, and then he looked at the letter in his hand, strangely, the letter quickly aged, turned yellow and brittle, and then rotted into ashes.
