Chapter 65: Light and Darkness

Section I

In a dilapidated house, the fire in the fireplace glows dimly, illuminating the dirty room in a flickering light, and the crackling sound of burning wood is particularly clear in the quiet room.

In front of the fireplace lay an old gray couch, and a short man stood to it, cowering, wearing a black cloak, and the bald crown of his head made him look a little funny. Opposite him, there stood a lame old man, who looked at the person in front of him with some nervousness, and his hand holding the cane was clenched tightly.

"Did you hear everything, Muggle?" The cold voice came from the sofa, hoarse and low, which made the old man shudder.

"What do you call me?" The old man said strongly, but the slight trilling in his words betrayed him.

"I call you a Muggle," the voice said coldly, "that is, you're not a wizard. ”

"I don't know what you mean by wizard." The old man said, staring at the couch in front of the fireplace, the flames dancing, and a dim light reflecting in his eyes, "All I know is that what I heard tonight is enough to arouse the interest of the police." You've killed people, and you're planning to kill more! ”

"Hmph......" The man on the couch let out a cold laugh, but there was not a hint of a smile, "It's ironic, I didn't expect that one day, I would be threatened, the Dark Lord - by an old Muggle!" ”

"Master, please be angry, please be angry......" said the short man with a cower, looking frightened.

"Angry, huh." The voice on the couch calmed down, "No, Wormtail, I'm not angry about it, I've lost my strength, but I'm not going to be angry enough to be angry because of an ant's disrespect." ”

"You call me an ant, don't you?" The old man said with some disdain, "Hmph, what about you, why doesn't the so-called Dark Lord turn his face to look at me like a man?" ”

"Interesting, since you want it to be so, then, I'll grant your wish." With his words, the sofa slowly turned on its own.

The old man's crutches fell to the ground with a muffled click, and he saw what was sitting on the sofa, and he wanted to scream but couldn't make a sound, and shuddered back.

The scarlet pupils stared at the man in front of them, reflecting the old man's face distorted with horror.

"Oh God." The old man muttered, his legs and feet were not flexible, and he fell to the ground in terror, and he supported himself with his arms and shrank back.

A dazzling green light flashed, and the old man lay to the ground, the light in his eyes had long since dissipated and became cloudy.

"I'm not God." Scarlet eyes were cold and haughty, "I'm Voldemort. ”

Harry snapped his eyes open, the killing in the unknown room had awakened him from his meditation, and he scanned his surroundings to find that he was still in the magic circle planted in the forest, and it was still dark all around, but there was a faint blue light on the horizon. He took a few deep breaths to calm himself down.

"What's going on." A cold, low voice came that startled Harry, and he looked up to see that across from him, a black flame was burning in the darkness, and a pair of golden sword eyes were staring at him, which made Harry realize that Sauron was talking on the other side.

"I just saw, um, Voldemort." Harry hesitated for a moment, trying to put together words to explain what was happening, "While I was meditating, I saw as if I was right there, in an old house, Voldemort and Wormtail, they killed an old man. ”

"Oh?" Sauron replied, "You mean that in the process of your meditation, you saw what you said. ”

Harry nodded, and asked Sauron a little nervously, "What does that mean?" ”

"That means," Soren said, "that we're pressed for time." ”

Harry pondered what Sauron meant, assuming that he was referring to Voldemort's imminent return, and he hesitated, "I want to know, what makes Voldemort so powerful?" ”

"I'm glad you asked that, Harry." Sauron said, pondering for a moment, "You start to think about it, which means you're slowly starting to understand the higher powers, but I want to know first, what you think. ”

"Greed and ambition." Harry hesitated, "Maybe it's also a lot of ingenuity and hard work. ”

Sauron didn't reply immediately, his golden eyes stared at Harry, and after a while, he said faintly, "Partly yes, but it's too shallow. ”

Sauron stood up, the magic fluctuations around him suddenly became violent, and he pointed his wand at Harry, "Fight me seriously, maybe this will help you find out." ”

Harry didn't quite understand Sauron's words, but he stood up and grasped his wand.

"Be careful, Harry, it's not a joke this time." Sauron said coldly, and at the same time, the originally turbulent magic suddenly calmed down.

Harry narrowed his eyes and stared at Sauron tightly, after a month of brutal training, Harry had a faint feeling that the power that Sauron was about to use at this moment was far more terrifying than the previous training had shown.

The black flames burned, without overflowing magic or terrifying coercion, but they remained in this world as eternal as ever, as if dragging everything around them into endless darkness. Faintly, Harry felt pain, a strong sense of unreality enveloping him, as if he had been stripped from the world as he had when he first faced Sauron's power.

Harry knew what he had to do, and he tried to meditate to calm his mind, and it helped, he raised his wand and shouted, "Get rid of your weapon." ”

Bright red spells shot out of Harry's wand, not just illusions and other things, Harry felt that the spell was more powerful than he expected, but unfortunately, the spell disappeared as soon as it touched Sauron's black flames.

Harry wasn't surprised, but the pain intensified, and Harry realized that it might be some kind of magical attack, so he said, "Armor." ”

A magical barrier appeared around Harry, but soon Harry realized that the Guardian Charm was not working, and he felt even more uncomfortable, that something was invading his heart. Inexplicably, he felt angry, as if someone had lit a fire in his heart, and this hatred became more and more violent, making Harry almost crazy, and the scene churned in Harry's mind: in the face of Malfoy's taunts; Face Voldemort in the basement; learned that Peter had betrayed his parents; Seeing the worm tail running away and doing nothing; Seeing the Dementors surround himself with Hermione and Sirius, and there was nothing he could do to go. It was as if countless voices were whispering in Harry's ear, inciting the hatred and murder in his heart, which made Harry confused and painful.

"Ah......h Harry shouted loudly, and at the same time, his magic began to become agitated, and an invisible force spread out from him, stirring the black flames around him. Harry felt like he was going crazy, he covered his head hard, trying his best to protect the last shred of his sanity, he encouraged himself to concentrate his spirit, resisting the power that kept invading his heart, faintly, he felt that some kind of power from the depths of his soul was awakening, as if it was a ray of light in the endless darkness, that power made him feel peace and courage, as if it was instinct, Harry raised his wand, "Calling God Guard!" ”

Dazzling white light erupted from the tip of Harry's wand, dispelling the darkness around him, and a stag with white flames burning around him stood in front of Harry, majestic and majestic.

The white light shone on Sauron's body, causing him to feel a sharp burning pain, and the black flames around him suddenly became dense, protecting himself in it. The white flames and the black flames were antagonistic, and it seemed that the whole world was divided into two parts: light and darkness.

Shaken off his hatred and murderous desires, Harry regained his senses, and he stood there, stunned as he looked at the Patronus with white flames burning around him, feeling the powerful fluctuations of magic, and then at his hands, as if he couldn't believe it.

"That's your power." Sauron's deep voice came and pulled Harry out of his thoughts, and he looked at Harry, "It's the power that comes from within you, it's unique. ”

"Justice, redemption." Harry muttered, then he looked up at Sauron, "This is the Origin. ”

Sauron did not affirm or deny, but said calmly, "This is your heart. ”

Harry didn't say anything, silently thinking about something, and for a moment, both of them were silent.

Outside the magic array, Fleur had already been awakened by the strong magic fluctuations, she ran out of the tent in her pajamas, and saw the mirror image of light and darkness opposing each other in the magic array, anxious and worried. Ever since Sauron entered the magic circle, she had a faint sense of fear, as if she was going to lose something, and this feeling grew stronger and stronger as time passed. She hesitated for a moment, then resolutely ran towards the magic array.

"Miss, wait." Bono appeared at some point, and he stopped the girl, "You can't go out. ”

Fleur ignored it and walked around it, when she saw an old man suddenly appear not far in front of her. He looked at her gently and said, "You should listen to it, at least, it's not going to be over now." ”

The girl stared at the old man, and for a moment, she said uncertainly, "You are Dumbledore." ”

The old man smiled, "Yes, I'm Dumbledore. I guess, you're going to be Fleur? Miss Delacour, I have to say, Sauron was lucky. ”

The girl smiled, but soon became worried again, she looked at the magic array over there, and asked with some concern, "Are they okay?" ”

Dumbledore shrugged his shoulders and comforted her, "At least for now, they are fine." Then, he walked briskly towards the magic circle.

"You're here." Sauron looked at Dumbledore and said, not looking surprised, his voice low and with a hint of roar, "It's really fast." ”

Harry was surprised, he looked at Dumbledore, "Professor, why are you here?" ”

"Hello, Harry, you look good." Dumbledore said with a smile, his blue eyes looking through his glasses at Harry's Patronus, then at Sauron, who was hidden in the black flames, and finally, at Harry, "As for the purpose of my visit, I'm here to take you home." ”

"Home?" Harry whispered, patting the Patronus standing back beside him, causing it to dissipate into a cloud of flames, and he looked at Sauron on the other side, "It's over?" ”

"Hmm." Sauron answered, then said to Dumbledore, "Take them out of the way, back to the old mansion on Oak Road." ”

Harry was stunned for a moment, and he looked at Sauron, "What about you, you're not with us?" ”

"I have other things to do." Sauron didn't say much.

Harry wasn't happy with Sauron's words and had something to say, but Dumbledore tapped him on the shoulder and motioned for Harry to leave with him.

As the day dawned, the morning light dimmed, the things around him became clearer, and out of the magic circle, Harry was surprised to find that the changes around him were so great - they had arrived at the beginning of the summer vacation, and the deep forests of midsummer were full of lush green, and now, only a month later, the surrounding forests seemed to have entered a cold winter, with only dry branches and yellow grass everywhere in sight, as if all life had been withdrawn. When he walked to the tent, he found that only one of the meadows was still green and green, in stark contrast to the yellow color around him.

"That's what Sauron did, didn't he?" Harry asked softly.

Dumbledore nodded, he looked at Harry, "He's done a lot for this, and he's carried a lot. ”

Harry nodded, then stopped, he pondered for a moment, then turned and shouted in Sauron's direction, "Sauron, what makes you strong?" ”

Dumbledore stood aside, looking at Harry and then in Sauron's direction, with a complicated expression, but did not speak.

Sauron didn't answer, and for a moment, an oppressive silence enveloped everyone in the lifeless forest. Harry's eyes narrowed, he took a deep look at the magic circle, and then turned firmly and walked in the direction of the camp.

Outside the tent, Fleur hurried up to meet her, she looked at Dumbledore and Harry, and asked nervously, "Where is Sauron?" ”

"He's fine." Dumbledore said calmly, his deep gaze behind his glasses revealing an elusive meaning, "Now, it's time for us to go." ”

"No, I'm staying!" Fleur exclaimed, "He promised me that I would be with him." ”

"He's not going to break his word." Dumbledore said, his tone gentle, but also irresistible, "But now, you shouldn't stay, and Sauron doesn't want you to stay." ”

Fleur looked at Dumbledore indignantly, then at Harry, who was silent and avoided her gaze.

Dumbledore waved his wand, and the tent was automatically closed, and after a while, there were only a few suitcases left in the camp, Dumbledore nodded at the elf, Bono bowed slightly, and disappeared with the luggage.

Fleur was still looking in the direction of the magic array, but she could only see a rising black flame, inexplicably, a faint pain spread in the girl's heart, and tears dripped silently from her eyes.

Dumbledore sighed slightly, he grabbed Harry's arm with one hand, and held the girl's shoulder with the other, a force spread from him, making the girl and Harry's hearts feel calm and peaceful.

"Trust Sauron, he won't fail." Dumbledore said slowly, with a reassuring composure, "Let's go." ”

As if a light breeze was blowing, the three people in the camp disappeared silently.

Being in the magic array, feeling the departure of the three of them, Sauron's heart calmed down.

"What makes me strong." Sauron whispered, he could feel the cursed fire igniting the last of his **. He raised his hand and clenched it hard, and the flames around him became excited, and began to converge wildly towards Sauron.

"Hmph, uh-huh-haha-haha!" Sauron laughed loudly, the stirring power distorting the space around him, and when the furious power climbed to the extreme, a pair of black flame wings spread out behind Sauron's back.

Sauron flapped his wings as if stirring up a storm, and the wanton energy spread out, turning the surrounding qiē into ashes.

"Hatred is my strength, killing is my weapon, and in this world of pain and calamity, I am immortal!" Sauron turned into a flame and rose high into the sky, and for a moment, darkness seemed to envelop the heavens and the earth, and then dissipated, leaving only the cold sound to reverberate between the heavens and the earth.
