Chapter Forty-Eight: The Fierce Battle

Cenarius handed the axe to Blox and smiled, "It's yours, you have to use it well." ”

Blox's eyes widened, fiddling with the gift to test its quality. "Balance, it was perfect! It feels like a part of my arm! But it's made of wood after all, maybe—"

"Nope." Cenarius interrupted him, "It's Malfurion's masterpiece, and I've just received my blessing. You'll find that it's stronger than any average axe. You can trust me on that. ”

As for Malfurion, he didn't even touch the axe, because he didn't want anything like that. Although Hellhound is not afraid of magic and spells, he still believes that once he has mastered a spell, he is much stronger than such a weapon. He had already figured out how to put his talents to good use instead of wasting them, and the three of them stared at the invading Hellhounds ready to face the incoming enemy.

Those recent nightmares have always haunted Ronin, and they are still at work in his flesh. The Hellhounds, the vanguard of the Burning Legion, have arrived at Malfurion's abode. Will those fiery devils with horns be far away?

Crassus had transmitted his fear to the red-haired mage. He didn't know what would happen once he interacted with the past. As they know, what kind of future will lead to those seemingly possible victories. Out of consideration for the protection of life and loved ones, it is better for Luo Ning to do nothing. He is a red dragon whose real name is Clyostraz. Crassus was the name he took when he took on human form. As the youngest companion of Alexstrasza, the Queen of Life, Clyostraz is a rare magical genius among the Red Dragons. At a young age, he began to observe and study humanoid races and how they behaved up close. With her ability to shapeshift, Clyostraz often blends in with these races without even knowing it.

He soon realized that the best way to teach these races was to enter their society and direct their leadership over them, while other red dragons did not have such a great perspective. After obtaining the qualification of Archmage, he quickly improved his strength and became a member of the "Council of Six" composed of the highest mages of Dalaran. It was also another teacher of his Ronin.

Months have passed since the thrilling Battle of Mount Hyjal, and the evil Burning Legion has been banished from the land of Azeroth for good. Now, a mysterious black hole of energy in the Kalimdor Mountains has brought him and Crassus to this place. When they arrived, the dragon mage Crassus found himself mysteriously losing some of his mana and some memories of the war, and was becoming weak and old, centuries older than he was in the real world. As the only one who knew the truth, he asked Ronin to stay behind to help the elves fight against the Burning Legion, and he went to seek the help of the dragons, knowing that in the age of dragons, only dragons could compete with the Burning Legion.

But when the first Hellhound stormed into the moonlit glades, Malfurion's noble thoughts immediately vanished from his mind.

Cenarius rushed forward to meet the Hellhounds, and the air was filled with thunder and lightning. The sound of his stomping shook the ground and even cracked it slightly. He clasped his hands together and emitted a shining light.

He unleashed a small ball of sun-like energy in front of the demons in front of him. Perhaps Cenarius was just trying his opponents, or underestimating their resilience, the Hellhound reached forward with its tentacles, tangled with Cenarius' spells, and instantly sucked up his spells.

The Hellhound hesitated for a moment, glowing ...... What turned out to be only one place suddenly became two.

They leapt at Cenarius, clawing at him, trying to drain his magic. Cenarius was tall, and as a demigod, even if he didn't use spells, he was very strong in the flesh alone. Taking advantage of his size, he lifted a Hellhound directly with his hand, and the Hellhound immediately struggled frantically, desperately biting Cenarius's arm. The other hellhound clamped its shoulders, its tentacles reaching out to Cenarius' body. The three of them fought frantically as they retreated.

Ronin himself had never encountered Hellhounds, but he had studied their corpses and gathered a lot of information about them. He had heard strange legends about the hound's self-breeding, and that the process of self-reproduction of the Hellhound was only difficult and slow down when a special spell was cast. Cenarius' druid magic was powerful, but it couldn't suppress them, and the Hellhound devoured his magic only made it even more terrifying......

Ronin began to tremble, knowing that magic had always been his best tool in the past. It is true that he can fight with arms, but now he has no weapons, and Cenarius may not be able to give him one now. In addition, to deal with these people, his swordsmanship is far from good. Ronin needed a kind of magic.

When Cenarius brought Crassus and Ronin to his domain, Ronin found himself unable to cast any spells. The King of the Forest casts a spell on Ronin's mind, thus restraining the power of the two "guests". However, when Cenarius realized that danger was approaching the three of them, Ronin felt the magic be lifted. The demigod had no intention of harming the mage, and he did so out of concern for his forest and his territory.

Even though he didn't follow Crassus's advice, Ronin wondered how much he would gain when he regained his strength. Of course, demons will always salivate over his magic, just as they do with the magic of many mages, and many of them will be drained in the future battle against the Burning Legion.

The hellhounds were closing in on Ronin, getting closer and closer. Ronin clenched his fists and had a spell ready in his mouth.

However, he did nothing.

Cenarius fights two hellhounds alone, while the other two charge towards Brooks. Brooks yelled at the two guys, causing one of them to shudder slightly. He took advantage of this momentary hesitation and made a fighting stance and rushed towards his opponent. The magic axe plunged deep into the Hellhound's front paws, cutting off three of the Hellhound's toes as easily as slicing through air. Filthy green blood splattered from the body of the hellhound and flowed on the grass, and the grass immediately withered, and white smoke began to rise from the blades, and the blood of these monsters seemed to be very corrosive.

The wounded Hellhound let out a scream and fell to the side, but its accomplice continued to pound and crash into Brooks. Blox tried to stand up, trying to break out of the encirclement with the handle of his axe. He slammed his axe into the chest of the beast that had leapt forward. The wounded Hellhound began to gasp for air, but his inertial movements did not slow down at all. It crushed Brooks, and its massive body nearly crushed Brooks.

Malfurion, on his part, the Hellhound was eagerly approaching him with tentacles. Malfurion concentrated, trying to think according to Cenarius's ideas. Cenarius once taught him to see nature as a weapon and a companion. Malfurion chanted a spell and created a whirlwind that quickly encircled the huge hellhounds. The Hellhound's powerful tentacles swayed desperately, searching for magic. But Malfurion's spell and wind fused together, so Hellhound barely found any mana to suck.

With a wave of his right hand, Malfurion asked for extra leaves from the surrounding trees. He only needs the toughest leaves, but it must be more and faster.

These guardian trees give everything they have, and hundreds of leaves fall from their towering canopies. Malfurion kept channeling the newly fallen leaves into the whirlwind.

In this whirlwind, the Hellhound is pushed backwards, reluctantly moving away from its prey. Malfurion took every step of the way, always trapping the demon in the center of the whirlwind.

The leaves continue to pour into the whirlwind, spinning faster and faster, and in greater numbers. At first, the Hellhounds didn't care about the leaves, as they weren't much of a hindrance. But when the edge of a sharp leaf slice its nose, blood flowed out.

Enraged, the demon struck the offending leaves with all its might, and many wounds appeared on its palms, legs, and torso. The whirlwind was now a hundredfold stronger, and the edges of the whistling leaves were like sharp blades, cutting the demon through every place it went. Green muddy juice spilled out of the demons' bodies, soaking their fur and even obscuring their vision.

Cenarius and the beasts that attacked him continued to fight. The devil's howl of the devil and the howl of the wolf are perfectly matched by the terrifying roar of the king of the forest. He grabbed the forefoot that Hellhound himself had brought to the door, and deftly twisted his bones. The demon screamed wildly, and its tentacles were in pain, and it let go, swinging wildly.

The threat was lifted for the time being, and Cenarius focused on another hellhound. There was a strange dark look on his face, and there was anger in his eyes. Suddenly, a ray of light appeared and enveloped the demon. The greedy Hellhound extended its tentacles to the light again, eagerly sucking it up.

But he wasn't sucking the magic of a mage. It was the demigod Cenarius, who quickened the pace of his attack and began to output magic, the magic that the Hellhounds craved - but it was so fast that the Hellhounds could not fully absorb it. The Hellhound was gradually filled, and soon it resembled a cloth bag filled with water. It seemed to be about to crack, and it couldn't control the energy it sucked in.

Hellhound exploded. The swamp was littered with foul-smelling pieces of flesh that rained down. So far, Ronin has been lucky, and no hellhound has come to trouble him. He was still in the middle of the swamp, hoping that the power of the circle would allow him to use his abilities without having to think about it.

Ronin sees Brooks and Hellhound fighting, and Brooks is about to be crushed. Despite his two opponents, the veteran warrior is fighting as hard as he can. However, as he continued to observe Brooks, a terrible thought crossed the human mage's mind. If he and Crassus can't go back to their time, then it's best for both sides of the fight to be killed, as soon as possible. In this way, there will be no further changes in history. Brocks can't be counted on, because he was likewise thrown into this era. As he looked at Brooks' back, Ronin began to contemplate another spell. In the middle of a fight, there is no way to pay attention to others, and the vigilance against other dangers will be reduced. Crassus will surely say that it was the right decision. Not only is Brooks a demon, but Brooks is also a threat to what exists.

But his hands trembled, and the spell that had formed in his mind retreated, and Luo Ning felt ashamed. The Broxs community has become a valuable ally. Brooks now fights not only for himself, but also for others, including mages, of course. Everything Crassus said urged Ronin to hurry up, but the more he looked at Brooks and the night

The elves, who would also become allies of humanity, fought side by side, the more he was ashamed of his momentary madness. The thoughts that were being calculated were as terrible as the atrocities committed by the Burning Legion in his time.

But Ronin couldn't stand there any longer and do nothing......

Far to his right, Cenarius had begun to encircle and suppress the remnants of the enemy. One of the demon's forelimbs couldn't move, so it couldn't hold out for long. Cenarius riveted with all his might, stooped over his head and threw the beast high into the distant forest with a loud roar.

Purple lightning slashed from the sky, and for a moment all the remaining hellhounds on the field turned into ashes and dust in the thunder light, and dissipated into the air. Several people looked up at the sky, and a strong horned eagle beast rode an elf man in a white magic robe with gold trim, his long silver hair fluttering in the wind, and two green eyes looked at the people below. He also held a long sword that glowed with purple lightning.
