The bronze dragon must die!
At this point in this book, some of the intentions I want to express are already beginning to manifest. Maybe it's not obvious enough, but I don't want to go through it all at once, and it feels better for readers to find out the clues in the book than spoilers.
What I want to say is that the changes that the protagonist Jiang Weihan has made so far are not meaningless. Even if Akmund had arrived, the meaning would never be the same at all.
In fact, so far, the main enemy that the protagonist has fought against is not the Scourge or the Burning Legion, but the biggest bug in the World of Warcraft by Blizzard's father - the setting of the timeline.
It has to be said that so far, the timeline in World of Warcraft is a failure. A completely unjustifiable failure, a setting that all fan fiction hates.
In fact, we look back at Warcraft from the original stand-alone machine to the present, after 20 years, its setting has been gradually improving.
For example, in the Battle of Warcraft Frozen Throne, why did Akmund and the Burning Legion come, and none of the Guardian Dragon Legions came out?
Because as of the time of this expansion, Blizzard has not set up such a thing as "Guardian Dragon".
It wasn't until later, after the release of World of Warcraft, that they added this setting to the official novel. BY THE WAY, IT ALSO CREATED A BIG BUG - TRAVELING THROUGH TIME AND CHANGING HISTORY.
In the War of the Ancients trilogy, Ronin, Crassus, and Blox travel back 10,000 years to participate in the Burning Legion invasion of the Antiquity. played a crucial role in this.
Broxs slashed Sargeras with an oak axe blessed by Cenarius, and failed to guide Sargeras through the portal; Ronin even taught Illidan magic, which convinced him to use magic.
However, during the battles of the Frozen Throne and Reign of Chaos, the orcs came to Kalimdor and cut down trees in the process of establishing Orgrimmar, and the elves called them "sons of demons", and Cenarius also "forgot" about the past when he fought alongside the orc hero Brox, and was hacked to death by Grom Hellroar.
Is it because he has a bad memory?
No, it's because the campaign plot appeared first, and the traversal plot was made up later.
Then Blizzard brainstormed and tried to add this kind of setting that they found cool in future stories. As a result, a series of time-traveling dungeons also appeared in World of Warcraft:
All the dungeons in the Cave of Time are based on this setting.
Old Hillsbrad, Battle of Seamount, Old Stratholme, End of Time, War of Antiquity, and many more.
But to be honest, it's not cool at all, it's even ridiculous.
Just like CTM, Deathwing is going to die, how can you stop him?
"We need demonic souls."
"It's ruined!"
"Then go back to the War of the Ancients and get one!"
So we went back to the War of the Ancients and obtained the Dragon's Soul. Use it against Deathwing, who is now about to destroy the world.
"The end of time is scary."
"What should I do?"
"Let's go to the future and kill Mnozdo!"
So we go to the future again and kill the crazy future with the help of Nozdom.
Nozdom and Mnozdor are essentially dragons, and Mnozdor casually took a bunch of artifacts from history, what dragon soul, what Sargeras's scepter, and what else do we do?
In fact, the setting of the timeline is full of loopholes by this time.
Then, in 5.4 and 6.0, Blizzard completely broke the timeline - they created an intolerable loophole:
Kenoz travels Garrosh to Draenor thirty-five years ago - so Azeroth has two passages to Draenor: one to the now Shattered Outlands, and one to the current version of Draenor 35 years ago.
It's not just a passage through time, it's essentially inadvertently and completely breaking the timeline.
We see in the CG of 6.0 that Gul'dan lure/bewitches the orc chiefs to drink the demon's blood, but who does this blood come from?
From Manolos, a saboteur who has already died under the Grom Axe in the second invasion of the Burning Legion!
That's right, in the world of Draenor 35 years ago, this guy is still alive.
What does this mean?
Akmund, who was also killed in the Seamount, is still alive in this world.
Kenoz is not creating a passage connecting two worlds, he is creating a universe!
This is undoubtedly a very ridiculous loophole. You can't even find a suitable reason to explain it. Why is it that you can resurrect the dead just by crossing a timeline?
This means that only one line has been laid, and all the time sequences in the entire universe have been disrupted. As the other side of the connection, what position should Azeroth be in?
In an unexplainably awkward position.
I can't help but think:
In the normal timeline, the Titans of the Pantheon look at the Pantheon Titans of the Draenor timeline 35 years ago and greet them: Haha, I was 35 years ago, hello!
Then Kil'Gardan in the normal timeline goes to this timeline of Draenor, and he can find himself 35 years ago, and his brother who has come back to life - no, it should be the brother who is not dead - "Akmund, I want to kill you!" ”
The setting of this timeline makes a lot of things meaningless.
I want to make Azeroth a little more rational and normal.
So, Bronze Dragon, must die!
- Well, that's my personal grudge.
Bronze dragons can be immortal, but they must lose the ability to manipulate the timeline.
This is exactly what the protagonist of this book is trying to achieve so far.
Only then can the rest of the story continue.
That's it!
