106 Wembley Again (M)
When the Burnley bus arrived at Wembley Stadium, the Burnley fans who were waiting there immediately gathered around. Although the number of people is small, there are thousands of people. They saw the buses of the Burnley team and rushed over in an instant.
Some of them are waiting for the Burnley team, and some are fans who have not bought tickets.
As soon as the bus door opened, George walked down first. Seeing George, the Burnley fans erupted in earth-shattering cheers.
"George! George! We want a championship! We want a championship! β
"George, give us another champion!"
As soon as George came out, he encountered such a huge formation. So raise your hands and quiet the fans. Sure enough, George raised his hand, and all the fans were silent.
"Trust me, I definitely didn't come to Wembley to finish runner-up. I promise, I promise you, that the championship is ours. β
George patted his chest and shouted at the Burnley fans, despite the fact that there were many reporters next to him.
"Wow!!"
"George! George! George! β
"Champion! Champion! Champion! β
George's words ignited the enthusiasm of Burnley fans, and when the media interviewed him, George never had any attitude towards the FA Cup final. At most, it's a war of words with Arsenal.
Unexpectedly, a few hours before the game, in front of Wembley Stadium, George openly shouted the slogan of the champion.
Even Arsene Wenger's Arsenal, although they were full of confidence in winning the championship before the game, did not say "the championship is ours" so nakedly.
The reporters who were preparing to interview the Burnley team were dumbfounded, although they also knew that George was a big mouther and dared to say anything. But I didn't expect this young coach to be even more mouthy than rumored.
With that, George was the first to get out of the bus. Closely followed by George is Mitchell, as the captain Mitchell's appeal and prestige among Burnley fans is only weaker than George. Although speaking of it now, Ballack and Ljungberg and Robbie Keane are among the fans in the Burnley squad.
Offensive players are always preferred by fans over defensive players, and even the homegrown Daniel is not necessarily more popular than a few of them. But Mitchell is completely different.
Mitchell has been with Burnley for more than two decades and has been playing at Burnley since he was a teenager. He captained Burnley at a very young age, with other veteran players of his time either switching to his team, retiring or sitting on the bench. Only Mitchell is still in Burnley's main squad as captain.
Therefore, Mitchell's appeal is absolutely unique among Burnley players, so the cheers of fans who saw Mitchell come out continued. And following Mitchell was Burnley's own new star Daniel, as well as Barak, Ljungberg and others trailing out.
Seeing these players, the cheers of the fans came and went. But very consciously give way to the team and let the team pass.
"Arsène, this young coach is very interesting." Paz Wright, a white-haired man, smiled and spoke to Arsene Wenger. Just when the Burnley team arrived, Arsenal's bus also arrived at Wembley Stadium.
Unlike hillbillies from small villages like Burnley, Arsenal play half the home game. And Arsenal fans may be just like Arsene Wenger, who are humble gentlemen. It's impossible to behave like a Burnley fanatical fan, and Arsene Wenger wouldn't make a championship declaration like George's.
So much so that many Arsenal players complained that the fans at Highbury Stadium were not enthusiastic enough, and the atmosphere at Highbury Stadium was too poor. Arsenal fans are too quiet.
And when Wenger got out of the car, he didn't pat his chest like George, but simply shook his hand. Only this action has reassured Arsenal fans. They can't do what the Burnley fans do and shout "We want the title!" They were already very relieved to see Arsene Wenger.
Wenger nodded as he walked. Speaking of which, Wenger and George really don't know each other, but Wenger has long been familiar with George's name. As a manager of a League One club, George can frequently appear in the sports pages of major newspapers, and it is difficult not to be remembered.
"Young people don't have to do that. The strength is good, it's just inexperienced. There's no limit to what lies ahead. Although George is open-mouthed, Wenger still admires George.
Arsene Wenger is also technically relatively young at this age, not yet 50 years old, and will only turn 49 in October. In terms of coaching, it still belongs to the category of young coaches, but it has already led Arsenal to the Premier League title. It's just that compared to George, he looks older.
"Young people are too arrogant, and it's not necessarily a good thing." Paz Wright didn't like a young man like George. Paz Wright prefers tactically oriented Italian coaches and gentlemen like Arsene Wenger. They're more on the pitch than George, who seems to be more focused on off-court bickering.
Wenger didn't speak, just smiled.
β¦β¦β¦β¦
This FA Cup final is the same as the League Cup final, and Burnley fans are at an absolute disadvantage. There were a lot of Arsenal fans coming today, but Burnley fans were only in their early 20,000s. That's a lot less than the 30,000 in the League Cup final.
And unlike the Carabao Cup final, Wembley Stadium today was a sea of red. Whether it's Burnley or Arsenal, their traditional colour is red, and the fans wear red uniforms.
Of course, the Arsenal players may have been a little upset today because Burnley were drawn at home during the pre-match draw. Burnley can wear their traditional red shirt, while Arsenal can only opt for the away team's yellow shirt.
With less than two hours left before the game, players from both teams came to the pitch to acclimatize and warm up.
With an hour remaining in the game, the fans of both teams were already filled to Wembley Stadium. Before the game even started, the fans of both teams began to cheer for their teams. A small number of people does not mean that the momentum is weak. Although there are only more than 20,000 Burnley fans, the shouts and cheers are not lost at all.
"It's the FA Cup final in '97/98 and we're broadcasting it live at Wembley. With half an hour to go, we are looking forward to a good final. β
(Today's fourth shift, this is already my limit.) I hope that in the future, there will never be another 12,000 renewal ticket, and it will be difficult for me to do it. Six thousand, nine thousand. 12,000 ...... οΌ
