Chapter 392: A chance encounter with the Minotaur and new news
The war ended with the retreat of the Night Elves.
Kael'thas did not see Cenarius appear, nor did he notice that Grom was acting very violently.
He probably guessed the time.
The demon did not appear, and everything seemed to be early.
This was disturbing for the demons to hide, but it also gave Kael'thas plenty of time.
He led his team out of the Grey Valley first, heading further south.
Almost all of the northern territories are in the hands of the Night Elves, so the south will be an easier place to find.
Leaving the Ash Valley, there is an endless barren grassland in front of you.
This vast grassland was once a forest before the ancient wars, but it was so long ago that even the ageless Night Elves couldn't remember it.
The scorching air from the mountains to the west formed a whirlwind to rampantly here, and the wind stirred up the sand and dust, and the tenacious bushes shivered in the wind.
The tight cloak enveloped the body of every elf and troll, and they made their way south in this boredom.
Truth be told, there is very little to hide in this kind of place.
Luckily, however, the vast expanse of the terrain was also sparsely populated, and Kael'thas marked the orc camp in his memory and bypassed them far away.
They passed the first half of the road unharmed.
There will be several races on the second half of the way, and they can't seem to avoid it.
"Let's go up the hill to the west."
In desperation. Kael'thas had no choice but to climb the barren mountains with his team.
These mountains have no shelter, bare only yellow rocks and earth. But because of its altitude, it should be safe from detection.
The tops of the mountains line in a straight line. But it's not wide β that's why no one came here to shape the camp.
However, before he could walk forward, he was spotted in front of him.
If you go down the mountain, you will be discovered by the people below, and Kael'thas can only continue to move on.
They found a minotaur, a tent, and a campfire.
"Hello. Traveller. β
The minotaur was obviously a little surprised when he looked at such a large team.
Kael'thas wanted to get rid of him outright, but he gave up on the idea after seeing those friendly eyes.
He has a good opinion of this race - mainly because the minotaurs are the most reassuring meat shields in the game.
It's a huge, wild creature. They live in the open grasslands of the central continent of Kalimdor and are dedicated to serving nature and maintaining the balance between the wildlife of the land and the immortal elemental spirits.
Despite their large size and immense strength, these balance-loving creatures have created a peaceful tribal society.
Kael'thas finally decided to try to communicate with the minotaur.
"Hello, we have no ill intentions, can you make way for us?"
He asked.
As long as they don't see their appearances, it is impossible for this minotaur to guess their identity.
"Of course."
The minotaur smiled and gave way, the look on his face as he remembered.
"Thank you."
Kael'thas thanked him and walked through with the group.
However, the Minotaur extended another invitation.
"Traveler, if you don't mind. Why don't you stay and try the food I made? β
The elves didn't attack him, reassuring the minotaur.
[A group of mysterious guests. γ
He thought so, but he didn't feel bad.
Kael'thas stopped.
He thought about it for a moment, but nodded in agreement - perhaps this friendly minotaur could bring him new news. β¦,
Aurelia and Lanather sat around the campfire with Kael'thas.
At the top of the barren hill, a warm flame burned a huge boiler, and the minotaur happily took a spoon and gently flipped the food inside.
A rich fragrance came out.
"By the way, my name is Haze, Haze. Berengade, a chef. β
With a smile, the minotaur introduced himself:
"I'm getting ready to travel around. Learn different cooking, what about you? β
His name made Kael'thas frown.
Hayzi, plus a surname he'd never heard before, it seemed that there was nothing peculiar about this minotaur - the minotaur's main surname, Kael'thas, knew it, and he was sure he hadn't heard of it.
Kael'thas relaxed a little.
"Beethoven, my name is Beethoven."
Then he replied.
In fact, though, every time he says the name, Kael'thas gets goosebumps.
But he really can't think of many Western names.
"Beethoven? Well, that seems like a human name? β
Hayes muttered, then said how he felt.
Kael'thas immediately raised his guard again.
But he didn't see Haytz's hostility.
"No wonder you have to cover your body, it's human, but don't worry."
The minotaur laughed with relief:
"Even if you show your body, you will not be attacked by us."
The news he casually uttered made Kael'thas widen his eyes.
"Why?"
Kael'thas asked:
"Didn't you make an alliance with the orcs?"
Legend has it that when the orcs came to Kalimdor, the minotaurs happened to be expelled by the centaurs. Young Thrall commanded his troops to successfully rescue the Minotaur, from whom the leader of the Minotaur Kane. Bloodhoof sensed his great charisma and excellent command skills, and then swore an oath to join the Horde.
It stands to reason that the current Minotaurs wouldn't be as friendly to humans - even if they had good hearts.
"Don't you know?"
This time, however, it was Hayz's turn to be surprised.
"Yesterday. Your queen and the high chief have made a pact of peace, and now no one can take the initiative to attack. β
He then explained.
From these words. Gradually, Kael'thas learns more information.
A few months ago, the humans who had left Lordaeron had landed in Kalimdor from the Dust Swamp. and quickly established the city of Theramore on the island near the sea, and then completely occupied the Dust Swamp.
Without the Black Dragon Princess's occupation, the Dust Swamp has now become an area of the Alliance.
Kael'thas had been thinking about that place, but now he had to give up.
But what was even more unexpected was that the Alliance and the Horde soon concluded a pact of peace together, except for the small friction at first.
Kalia, the queen of men, and Gianna, the princess of Kurtilas. Personally met with the orc chief Thrall, and easily wiped out the war.
This is history that has changed
Both Kalia and Gianna are not blind orc-haters. Coupled with Sal, Teresa and their fate, this series of changes. Caused the present peace.
It is ironic that Kael'thas's previous actions did not make Quel'Thalas less dangerous, but reduced the casualties of both humans and orcs.
Historically, however, the Horde would have allied with the Alliance against the Burning Legion.
But it was done under the guidance of Medivan's magic stick.
Medivan?
"Hazis, where did you conclude this contract?"
Kael'thas asked in a deep voice with his eyes twinkle.
"Stonetalon Mountains, just above."
The minotaur was a little strange, but he still told the news that was not secret: ...,
"It seems that I went to this place because I was looking for some miracle."
Truth.
History hasn't changed much, and perhaps Kael'thas has made it easier for the Alliance and the Horde to work together. But it was still Medivan who led the leaders to meet.
That is, now both the Horde and the Alliance are preparing for the Burning Legion.
Everything makes sense.
But if that's the case, Kael'thas will leave Ashendale a little sooner.
When Thrall and the Alliance agreed to work together and found Grom, Grom had already been lured by the demon to kill Cenarius.
In other words, within a few days, the demons will complete their action.
The Burning Legion is about to appear.
It seems that Kael'thas must hurry up and find a suitable base to live in.
When the aromatic food was finally cooked, Hayz pulled out several large bowls from the tent. Then he served it to Kael'thas and a few people.
"Give."
He gave the first bowl to Kael'thas.
Kael'thas smiled wryly at the bowl larger than his head and the slices of meat inside, so he had to bite the bullet.
Aurelia and Lannassel were lucky enough to get a big bowl as well.
"Well, this is my self-confidence."
Haytz looked at the men with shiny eyes and asked nervously.
"It's the first time I've tasted such rough cooking, but it tastes great."
Kael'thas honestly thanked him, then casually asked:
"What kind of meat is this?"
"This one"
Haze took the spoon and pointed to the bottom of the mountain with the other hand:
"These are the boar people down the hill"
"Poof!"
Lannathel squirted out the flesh suddenly.
"Wild, wild boar people?"
Aurelia's eyes widened as she stared blankly at the meat in the bowl.
Only Kael'thas was very calm, and he didn't think there was much difference between boars and bearsβwasn't they just humanoid pigs in clothes and spells?
"Don't wait for me to finish spraying!"
Haytz touched his forehead with some distress, and then added:
"This is the meat of the wild boars raised by those wild boar people down the mountain, I can't beat the wild boar people."
The minotaur waved his fist to indicate that he was not a professional.
The two female elves breathed a sigh of relief.
They began to enjoy their food with peace of mind.
Kael'thas also knew the reason why Hayz was alone at the top of the mountain, and it was very painful.
"I like to cook in a variety of different places, and it's better to eat in places with a good line of sight."
This is the Minotaur interpretation.
After a short stay, Kael'thas and the others continued their journey.
The next target is Filas, an ancient city with an upper elf.
Kael'thas wanted to occupy it if he could. (Your support is my biggest motivation.) )
