Chapter Ninety-Eight

Taking advantage of no one's attention, Roger quietly returned to his room through the window.

Elsa and Sayuri followed him into his room.

After carefully examining the two small magic arrays left in the room and a piece of hair tied to the door, Roger was relieved after making sure that they were all intact.

After taking the fireball out of the pet space and making sure that the fireball was still sleeping peacefully, Roger stroked the fireball and closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Sayuri nodded to Elsa and left through the window, leaving Elsa and Roger alone.

Elsa didn't disturb Roger's musings, and quietly made it to the bedside and tidied up her gear.

Kerr and Rabbit did not go out of the city with Roger and the others, but summoned the water elemental and the fire elemental and disguised themselves as humans to follow Roger and the three, while the two of them quietly returned to the hotel.

And Roger and the three of them took the two elemental creatures all the way out of Grace City, and then quietly returned to the hotel.

By this time, it was already early in the morning.

Although the "enemy" seems to have left Grace City, the heroic generals of Grace City still ordered a city-wide search, but Roger was not worried that the defenders of Grace City would be able to find his head.

After all, on the surface, there are only three people staying in this hotel: him, Ke'er and Rabbit.

In the early hours of the morning, when he broke out, Roger made a cameo appearance as an archer and wounded many people with a bow. At that time, Aisha and Sayuri disguised themselves as assassins, and did not show their ninjutsu and transformation abilities in front of the defenders. The two elemental creatures disguised as humans successfully played the role of two mages, and the fire elemental summoned by the rabbit threw a series of large fireballs directly towards the gates of Grace City.

As for the three people who ostensibly stayed in the hotel, Roger disguised himself as an alchemist. Rabbit is a swordsman, while Kerr is a water magician.

At best, only Kerr will be suspected, but the defenders of Grace City as long as they are not stupid. I will never provoke a magician casually.

Who knows if Kerr is a wandering mage or a magician from the Tower of the Nine Rings? If Kerr is a magician of the Tower of the Nine Rings, then there is a teacher. God knows that behind Kerr are those strong men! And if Kerr is a wandering mage, the wandering mage is much more dangerous than those academic magicians in the Tower of the Nine Rings! All of them are outright dangerous!

But no one could have guessed that Kerr wasn't a magician at all.

After all, the Wizard's Badge was the real thing.

The defenders soon approached the door, and people like Roger and his group who had just moved into Grace City were often the focus of suspicion.

However, the leader of the Crusader swordsmen, who kicked open Roger's door with a "bang", suddenly turned blue and white when he saw the potion bottle on Roger's table with a strange smell and the herb in Roger's hand, and then nodded again and again and begged Lord Roger not to blame him, while bowing his body obscenely and quietly moving back.

Roger just glared calmly at the seemingly impulsive leader of the Crusader swordsmen. Coldly dropped a sentence: "Get out." He concentrated on adding all kinds of medicinal materials into the medicine bottle.

With the addition of various medicinal herbs, the strange liquid in the potion bottle also became red, blue and green, and a strange smell spread rapidly.

As if he hadn't noticed anything, Roger's hand was still steadily adding the herbs to the potion bottle.

Glancing deeply at Roger, the Crusader swordsman leader carefully closed the door, and Roger could hear him exhale a long breath outside the door.

It's kind of like the same thing.

Roger pursed his lips and continued to carefully prepare the potion.

He was indeed a true alchemist, and he did know how to make alchemical potions, all of which he learned from the three elders. And that alchemist badge is also genuine, so there is no fear that the crusader swordsman will see the flaw.

Be aware, just in case. Roger deliberately used some of the techniques that were passed down in the Principality of Falcon, rather than any of the unique techniques that belonged to the Druids.

He is also equipped with low-level healing potions, which is also very consistent with his current identity, and he is not afraid of anyone to check it at all.

Kerr's side also passed the test smoothly. Her little pale face clearly told the Crusader Swordsman Leader that she was sick, but Kerr managed to explain to the Crusader Swordsman Leader.

According to Kerr, she and Roger plan to visit some people together in Tyrus, the capital of the Wolf Principality, and the rabbit is her bodyguard. The reason why the group stayed in Grace City temporarily was only because Kerr was a little unwell due to the fatigue of the journey.

It was rare to meet such a kind magician, and the leader of the Crusader swordsmen spoke to Kerr very cordially. Let Kerr go back and have a good rest.

But just then, the rabbit grabbed a large sword and smashed the crusader swordsman who entered her room. Then he saw the leader of the Crusader swordsmen standing at the door of Kerr. The rabbit's eyes immediately turned red, and the two big swords in his hands beckoned directly to the Crusader swordsman!

The leader of the Crusader swordsmen dodged the rabbit's blow in disarray. Then he was stunned to see the two big swords in the rabbit's hand directly piercing the wooden wall!

This woman must have barbarian blood!

Looking at the rather miserable wall, this thought flashed subconsciously, and the leader of the crusader swordsmen grabbed his subordinates who were knocked unconscious by rabbits, and hurriedly beckoned his subordinates to retreat quickly!

As a result, as soon as the leader of the Crusader swordsmen turned around, his subordinates had already slipped away with oil on the soles of their feet!

Looking at the unrighteous subordinates who were probing their brains around the corner, while the rabbit was busy pulling out the two big swords from the wall, the swordsman leader dragged the unconscious subordinates carefully retreat without tears.

The rabbit didn't kill at first, the hapless crusader swordsman was just knocked unconscious by the rabbit. But looking at the rabbit glaring at him angrily, the leader of the Crusader swordsmen didn't think that the rabbit would show mercy to his men!

That murderous aura. Definitely for real!

By the time the rabbit's sword was finally drawn, the crusaders had already run away.

As for the identity of the rabbit, none of the Crusader swordsmen thought she would be the assassin of last night. After all, for the Terrans. Demon martial arts are generally not cultivated, and no one thinks that a rabbit who shows the strength of a high-level swordsman will be a magician or a delicate archer.

The rabbit that could wield two heavy swords at will really impressed the Crusader swordsmen. Of course. It's definitely not going to be a good impression.

The young man, who was the innkeeper, calmly carried a few planks to the wooden wall pierced by the rabbit's sword, and nailed the planks to the wall very casually, covering up the two big holes.

Then the little girl with a clear slap mark on her face brought breakfast to the three of Roger.

Roger just glanced at the slap marks on the little girl's face, and was busy preparing the potion, and he didn't even glance at the breakfast on the table.

As for the rabbit, he entered Kerr's room with breakfast, and then forced the little girl back with a vicious look.

After the little girl left, Elsa slipped through the window into Roger's room. He still has a breakfast belonging to Kerr in his hand and eats it with relish.

After a busy night, she was already hungry.

As elemental heroes, Kerr and Bunny don't have to eat at all, and even when they are in the Emerald City, they only taste the food made by Roger.

The food provided by the hotel, the two portions that belonged to them, actually went into Elsa and Sayuri's stomachs.

After eating breakfast, Aisha fell asleep directly with the fireball in her arms.

Glancing at Elsa, Roger sighed slightly, and then continued to prepare the potion.

In fact, at the moment, Roger is worried about Elsa. After all, none of them have encountered danger in the real sense of the word. And the word "head" is still a big stone in Roger's heart.

After all. Even Rabbit and Kerr, who are elemental heroes, can't ignore the fact that they are wounded to the head.

Because the elemental core of these elemental heroes is not in the chest, but in the head position.

Although the four elemental heroes do not really "die", if the elemental core is badly damaged enough or even collapsed, they must return to the elemental plane to recover from their wounds, I am afraid that they will not reappear in Luna's lifetime.

That would undoubtedly be a big loss for the Emerald City, which is still very weak.

So now Roger is always worried. But as a leader, he can't expose all kinds of negative emotions, and can only bury his uneasiness deep in his heart.

After the Crusader swordsmen came over to inspect it. Nothing happened that day. However, the little girl who was supposed to be a member of the thieves' union would come up from time to time to investigate, obviously still suspicious of Roger and the others.

However, in front of Roger and others, whose strength far surpassed her. Of course, she couldn't find any suspicious clues.

Night fell again.

Roger told Kerr and Rabbit to pack their bags, and they all set out to the vicinity of the Thieves' Guild's tavern.

Despite the recent turmoil in the inner city, and the Grace City defenders hunting for "fugitives" throughout the city during the day, the thieves' union is still open as if nothing had happened.

Elsa and Sayuri easily spotted several masked men hiding in the Thieves' Guild, and it was clear from the guarded eyes of those men that they were not from the same force.

However, Roger and the others did not mean to enter the thieves' union, but directly bypassed the masked people and went all the way to an alley behind the thieves' union.

A man in black was hiding in the shadows, quietly watching Roger and the others arrive.

Roger raised his eyebrows, took out the five long swords that Elsa found from the city lord's study directly from the space bar, and picked out a long sword with a special triangular rune engraved on the body and threw it to the man in black.

"Mr. Sodick, this is your sword, right?"

"Well, that's right." The man in black, "Sodick", who was caressing the long sword, replied subconsciously, and then reacted suddenly, staring coldly at Roger and the others. At this time, the man in black "Sodick" noticed that Rabbit and Kerr had already separated from Roger and the three of them, and surrounded the man in black "Sodick" in the middle in a triangle.

Although Aisha and the others were quite shocked in their hearts, they still stared at the man in black according to Roger's previous instructions.

"We have no ill will." Roger smiled very elegantly at the black-clothed man on guard, and took out a longbow from the space bar, and the longbow suddenly emitted a slight point of light.

The point of light slowly drifted away in the direction of the man in black, and continued to fly around the man in black.

Seeing this longbow, the black-clad ranger Sodick, or rather, the elven prince Robin breathed a sigh of relief.

And looking at the reaction of those points of light, Roger also smiled.

"Found you, Your Highness." (To be continued)
