Chapter Twenty-Three: Children of the Ghost
The reception room for foreign guests seats four people and four cups of black coffee.
Kabine took a sip of his coffee.
It's so fragrant.
The two reporters listened carefully to Cabine's account of the old man and the letter.
Kabine took a breath and finally said: "I want to say to the old man, thank you for his letter, thank you for his encouragement, I will definitely cherish the opportunity now and play every game harder." β
The reporter in charge of the voice recorder asked, "That's all?" Nothing else? β
"Yes," replied Kabine, "I hope you will help me report it word for word." β
The reporter pressed the stop button on the voice recorder and said, "Don't worry, we will report it one by one as you said." β
Kabine nodded and said, "Thank you both!" β
The process of the brief interview went smoothly and should have been concluded.
But the two reporters did not move at all, and seemed to have a following.
Kabinet looked at Miss Tess, only to hear Miss Tise moan: "~~Hmm~~!" β
Then she said to the two reporters: "Okay, let's end here, thank you both!" β
The two reporters were slightly surprised, and looked at each other again.
Suddenly, one of the reporters asked: "Actually, we still have some questions that we would like to visit WΓ¨n Kabine, I wonder if you two have time?" β
Miss Tis gave Kirbine a look and asked, "Can you?"
Kabine gave him an affirmative look and said to the reporter:
"Yes, I have time, what do you want to ask?"
The reporter who had been in charge of asking questions pretended to sort out the text in his hand, raised his head, and said with a smiling face: "Your coach Corboni said at the press conference at the beginning of the season that the ultimate goal of the Granada team this season is to break into the [UEFA Champions League], so what do you think about this?" β
The problem is not too acute, and Kirbine copes with it.
Kabine cleared his throat and coughed lightly and said: "You must know that Coach Coboni is a coach who pays a lot of attention to [teamwork] and [strict training], so as long as all our players participate in training and strengthen teamwork, I believe the team can get the predetermined results." β
Kirbine's answer was devoid of any highlights, and took on a mouthful of officialdom.
But that's all he can say, and say some of the most basic nonsense.
However, journalists are not at all interested in [nonsense] that is not desirable.
I saw the reporter nod his head fakely, and asked: "Now many football media are commenting on you and the German kid Shadugir, and even saying that the duel between you and Shadugir in the future La Liga is another battlefield." What are your thoughts on this? β
The immaturity and clumsiness of the Corbine's response to the interview made the reporter see it clearly.
So the problem gradually emerged sharp corners, the ends of the horns flashed white, and the dagger was cold.
A problem can often hurt people.
Kabine was wounded by the stab, and it was the journalist who stabbed him, and the stabbing ......
It's Shadugir.
Kirby pretended to be calm and said: "I played against Shadugir in a final and he is a genius, an absolutely good player, so ...... So I'm looking forward to playing him again. β
Kabine is telling the truth, and it is the truth.
Shadugir is a genius, a terrible genius.
After listening, the reporter continued to ask: "After facing Athletic Bilbao away in the next round of the league, you will meet Atletico Madrid in the knockout round of the Spanish Copa del Rey, which is the official clash between you and Shadugil." Are you sure about this encounter? Or do you have some other ideas? β
Kabinet stroked the back of his neck and said, "I have faith! But confidence can't influence any outcome! I think the most important thing in the game is the mentality of the players themselves, whether they have a winning mentality! β
Mentality is like a fire in the heart.
Only with fire can you make yourself burn on the field.
Judging by the reporter's expression, he was satisfied with Kabine's answer and asked: "Shadugir has performed quite well in these rounds, and the media has hailed him as a new generation of striker superkillers, does this put pressure on you?" β
"No," said Kabine! Definitely not stressful for me! β
After speaking, he stared at the reporter with his eyes, this is to tell the other party how firm he is.
The reporter understood, bowed his head and smiled.
During the whole interview with WΓ¨n, Miss Tess listened and tasted the fragrant coffee, only to hear her say, "I think it's almost over, let's end the interview here." β
The two reporters glanced at each other, nodded their heads, and looked satisfied.
The two stood up and departed.
The four of them shook hands with each other again, and Kabine also said: "Thank you two, it will be troublesome for you to report on the old man." β
One reporter said: "Don't worry, we will handle it carefully, and thank you for accepting our newspaper interview." β
The two journalists left, leaving the training base.
Only CarbinΓ© and Miss Tess were left in the reception room.
The two were silent.
The only thing left in the room is the strong aroma of coffee.
"~~~~~~" Miss Tess's beautiful lips pressed against the hanging edge of the cup, and she took another sip of coffee.
When she had finished drinking, she placed her cup on the low table and said to Carbine, "I'm really sorry about visiting WΓ¨n...... I didn't have it right. β
Kirbine was puzzled: "Oh? Why? β
Miss Teese said: "Originally, the theme of the visit to WΓ¨n was to report on the story of [the old man], but I did not expect the reporter to take a clever turn on the subject and keep asking about you and Shadugil. Alas~~~! β
Carbine said: "Yes, the reporter's question is indeed biased, but I have also carefully talked about the matter of [the old man], and they also patted their chests and promised that they would report this matter, is there a problem?" β
Miss Teese said, "Yes, they will certainly help you with the report, but I guess they will focus on you and Shadugil. β
Kirbine was stunned: "Huh? No way? β
Miss Tess said, "It is quite possible that this is the case. β
"That's none of your business, you don't have to apologize." β
Miss Tice chuckled, "I found the newspaper agency, I arranged the reporter, and if there is a mistake in it, I should be fully responsible." β
Kabine smiled: "You said it too strictly, it's okay, I can handle it." β
Miss Tis looked at Carbine and said, "Really? But I've just observed that you're overwhelmed by the reporter's aggressive questions, have you? β
Kabine felt like he had been stabbed again, but disguised himself: "No, I'm calm, don't you see?" β
Miss Tess didn't speak, but took another cup of coffee, looked at Carbine, and seemed to say, "I didn't see it."
It's past noon.
The interview was over, and Miss Teese returned to her work, while Carbine walked out of the training base and paced up and down the gate of the base, waiting for the taxi that the receptionist had arranged for him to arrive.
Cabiné felt that this visit to Wèn seemed to be missing something, and it seemed that there was something more.
He couldn't figure it out.
At this time, the taxi stopped at the door of the training base, and Kirbyne got into the car, still trying to figure out how to let the driver drive the car to the route home.
Is Kabine afraid to fight Shadugir alone?
But he said he was looking forward to it.
Is Kabine casting a shadow over the last fiasco?
But he was confident.
Maybe the so-called "can't think through" is just a disbelief in the mouth, but it is very clear in the heart.
Is Kirbyne in such a state?
Only he knows.
The car had stopped, and the driver didn't show his intention to ask for the fare, but just turned to Kabine and said, "Hey, Kabine, I don't want the fare, but can you sign for me?" β
Another taxi driver did not ask for the fare, but instead asked for Kabine's signature.
Carbine happily signed, said goodbye and got out of the car.
After getting out of the car, Kabine noticed two things.
The first is that he has to buy a car to get around.
The second is that he finds Andoshi watching him not far from him.
It was already clear to Cabine that Andosi was not a monster or a madman.
He walked over and walked in front of Andosi.
Kirbine greets: "Hey! How are you, Andosey? β
There was no extra expression on Andosi's face, and he asked, "[Joel] came on time today, I'm very happy." β
Kabine laughed and said, "Really? Did you buy it a doughnut? β
Andosi said, "Did you just join the team's training?" β
Anddosi's way of language sometimes doesn't follow the rhythm of the other party, and Carbine has already learned it.
"No, I'm back at the training base today to attend a visit. β
"Why don't you train more? There were a few games that were hard to deal with after that, did Coach Corboni want to lose? β
Carbine smiled slowly, he knew that Andosi was a big fan of the Granada team, so it was normal for Andosi to be in control of the team's schedule for the next few rounds.
"~~~Boom~~~" suddenly flashed in my mind.
Carbine immediately wanted to ask Andoci a question.
He really asked, "Hey, Andosey, do you know who Shadugir is?" β
Andosi said lightly: "The German, twenty years old, now plays for Atletico Madrid. β
Kabine looked around before asking, "Do you think I'm good?" Or is he awesome? β
Andosi's expression is still the same: "You are an all-round midfielder, he is a super striker, the position is different, it can't be compared." β
Carbine asked, "Really? Can't really compare? β
"You're an all-round midfielder, he's a super striker, he's in a different position, you can't compare. β
Carbine then asked: "Excluding the question of position, can it be compared?" β
Andosi added: "You are an all-round midfielder, he is a super striker, the position is different, you can't compare. β
It suddenly dawned on him that he could no longer ask Andosi, for Andosi's [old problem] seemed to be about to flare up.
Before Andosey could get out of control, CabinΓ© had to stop asking questions.
Kabine could only say, "Andosey, let's go, let's go home." With that, he patted Andosi on the shoulder.
Andosi didn't move, but muttered softly: "German, twenty years old, son of ghosts." German, twenty years old, son of a ghost......"
Carbine didn't hear clearly, and asked, "What?" What do you say? β
Anddosi's lips twitched, and he said, "Son of the Ghost...... Children of the Spectre ......"
