5 Staggered
"We can't go yet?" Wes pouted as he watched James come back with a gloomy face. β³βοΌ.
"Yes. Irritatedly, James locked his drawer, grabbed his coat, and went out.
Weiss didn't know what James was depressed again, and felt that his friend had the meaning of sharing, so he smiled and followed behind, "I can finally leave, I'm a 'rookie' in the South District, and I always feel uncomfortable." β
James's face softened, knowing that his friend was helping him distract, and patted Wes on the back, "You're going to be transferred, the director obviously got you to the South End for this mission." James looked up at the upper floor, where the people of Newton were still here, and it was estimated that they would stay for another day to sort out the information before leaving.
It's also because of these guys in Newton that Wes's first big assignment in office won't be stored in the archives, which is a pity.
"When that's gone, you should be able to transfer over. James withdrew his gaze.
"Come here?" Wes smiled and shook his head, "Are you here to be your subordinate?" Wes narrowed his eyes, "Detective Reims, do you need coffee?" Detective Reims, do you want to wash your clothes?......
"!" James nudged Wes. Being joking about his friend's surname made him feel a lot better.
Wes rubbed his shoulders and smiled, "It's good to be in the South District, everyone I know is there, and I'm familiar with the South District." β
James thought about it for a moment, because of Patton's history, the people in the North and South Wards were actually a bit estranged, and it might be easier for Wes to stay in the South Side. But at the thought of Grande, James's face became gloomy again.
Approaching the main entrance of the police station, the policewoman's somewhat apologetic voice came, "I'm sorry Mrs. White, I don't have the authority to sue you about this." If there is a real case that is related. We will inform ......"
James looked over to Emma Farrell, a hard-working little policewoman who was hell-bent on getting out of the reception desk (Volume 7, Chapter 11) and becoming a real police officer, but she seemed to be here.
James glanced at Wes. White's case is the weight that Zach uses to pressure Jason and their turn. It seems that Zach has informed the mother.
"Pharrell, I'll do it. James beckoned, I don't know why, what was touched by Zack, he always didn't worry about throwing it to ordinary people to deal with.
Emma was relieved to see that it was James and turned to attend to other things.
"You're Mrs. White, I'm Lance Detective. James helped Mrs. White out. Walk outside the police station.
Mrs. White was a little puzzled, still looking in a little anxiously, and James explained helplessly, "Now that the police are dealing with a very important case, I shouldn't tell you this. β
Mrs. White had heard the same word, as if to confirm something. Of course, she didn't know that the police said that in every case.
"You must be here for your son's case, right?" walked out of the police station. James still, his voice was quiet.
The other person nodded.
James organized the phrase and found that he really didn't have anything to say. Frowning, "The testimony has been rewritten, and we will let you know when the case is over now." β
"So, is that still a robbery?" Mrs. White looked up at James, who was half a head taller than herself, and didn't know whether it was anticipation or something.
James pursed his lips. Shaking his head, thinking for a while, he still spoke, using an affirmative tone, "The real murderer is already being arrested." We will ensure that the murderers will not escape their sins. β
There was a hint of comfort on Mrs. White's face that the previous case, due to the description of the only witness, Jason, who was 'dark at the time and threatened to not see the prisoner's face clearly', was forced to let go. This time it's over.
"I, well, may I meet with the witness?" said Mrs. Wright, who seemed to know that she had made an unreasonable request.
James frowned and patted Mrs. White on the shoulder comfortingly. He really didn't understand Zack's style of doing things, why someone would be willing to ask him to do the commission, and the trouble would be wiped out, "At least not in the near future, we need to ensure the safety of witnesses before this case is completely over." β
This is true, as far as the police station is concerned, the real big target, the wanted portrait forged by James, is still at large. However, it was destined that this man would never be caught, and even that Eli would not be able to catch him, so James used a conservative phrase, 'Recently'.
Mrs. White nodded in disappointment, but she gave a reassuring look, patted James on her hand, and said thank you as she said goodbye.
James nodded, but still instructed, "Madame can go home alone." β
"It doesn't matter. Mrs. White smiled in front of her and pointed to a chubby middle-aged woman in front of her, "I have a friend with me." β
James nodded slightly, and his face sank again as he watched Mrs. White leave with her friend's support. Wes observed his face and pursed his lips, as if thinking about something. Suddenly, the thoughtful expression disappeared into a smiley face, "Jaime (for short), though you seem to hate that Zach of Grande." β
James glanced at Wes, he didn't like the beginning.
Wes shrugged, "But you have to admit that he's amazing." Wes spread his hands on Mrs. White in the distance, "He took advantage of the guilt of Jason's group, plus their own attributes. There was a hint of something else in Wes's eyes, "Pried a tight organization open from within." β
James decides to ignore Wes's praise for Grande, which is not Zach's name in the official report, but his name James. As for Wes's action report, as mentioned earlier, because those guys in Newton City, there will be no records.
And of course, James can sense what his friend is really trying, but unfortunately, his friend is unwilling to be honest on some issues, so he can only cooperate cautiously.
Remember, when James didn't communicate with Wes at all, he guessed that Wes would act as a character close to his true colors. Of course, James was not prepared to say it explicitly as a friend until his friend was not honest. James believes that he has the right to hear from the other person's mouth, which is respect.
"Jason, they did the right thing, and it had nothing to do with Zach. James pouted, "Well, what the hell is Stone's project? "It's a hint.
"Who knows. Wes's gaze didn't know where it went. "I remember Stone was a politician family, so I guess it's something to do with politics. He smiled, "I'm from the Southern District, and I have nothing to do with the Northern District, let alone the Western District." The only thing I know is the word Quin in front of the orphanage. β
James sighed unnoticed, he suddenly remembered something, and said with a smile, "You know what, some time ago. That Blake ......."
A man hurried past James, head bowed, and there seemed to be nowhere to hide from the open front door of the police station.
"Seth!" cried James!
The man who looked down sighed visibly unpleasantly, raised his head, and looked at James.
"What are you doing here!" James stared at the demon hunter, the one who had killed a demon in front of his eyes, and had chased him all afternoon yesterday and followed him all night.
Seth frowned, staring at James as he approached. "Send something, to Curson. β
"Detective! Detective Cowson!" James corrected in an unkind tone. He and this guy still have something to figure out. He still doesn't know how Seth figured out that he was fighting his weapon when he first saw him.
Answering James's question, Seth headed straight for the police station.
"Stop!" James ran a few steps and grabbed Seth, "I have something to ask you!"
Seth turned, frowning. Seeing that James did not speak, he had an expression of quick to ask a question.
James opened his mouth, not knowing where to start. Taking a deep breath, he suppressed a wave of nausea from his body as he touched Seth, and lowered his voice. "How did you know I wanted your weapon!"
Seth gestured to the air at his side.
James looked at it, his face completely gloomy, "Who's there." β
"Dylan. Seth replied.
James recalled, Dylan, the guy who was 'accidental' at the Smith warehouse.
"Why would he know. β
Seth's eyes didn't know where to go, apparently listening to someone who didn't have a sense of zΓ i.
Wess looked at James's increasingly gloomy face, knew what was going on, hugged his shoulders, and waited.
Seth nodded into the air and looked at James again, "Grande was watched by the police, Dylan heard that it was you who wanted to help, and then went to find Crowley to tell her about Zack's discovery, and then Crowley said he was not interested in you, and asked him to come to me, and I said that you will come and ask for my weapon." β
Seth didn't even break the sentence! This can only mean that he doesn't care about these things, and just conveys them truthfully.
James just opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted by Seth with a frown, "It's none of my business, go to Crowley, I still have business." He turned around and walked away. He's here to send photos to Curson.
James froze in place for a long time, until Wes patted him, "Crowley, the female demon, is she familiar with you?"
Of course, James didn't tell SΓΉ Weiss about his being forced, 'very familiar' seemed to poke him in the sore spot, "**!" He burst into a foul mouth, "Demons are demons!
Wes, not knowing what ignited James, raised his hand, "Okay, okay, I see, you hate demons." Relax. Wes shook his head and smiled, "Fortunately, I'll be in the South Side in the future, it seems that there are Grande's guys in the cover, and the demons shouldn't have anything to do with me." β
James pouted and glanced at Wes, "No one is safe! No one is safe to demons! You better be careful!"
Wes squinted, "What the hell did she do to you?" smirked lewdly, "You know we say that there must be a reason for the face of an angel and the figure of a devil? I remember you said she was a fallen angel, so it's both." β
James snorted, glanced at Wes, shook his head, and dragged him away.
This kind of conversation, which is always staggered, is really speechless. (To be continued......)
