CH.36 The Secret Passage
All kinds of magic traps bombarded the reckless navy with heavy casualties, and only a few survived and retreated to the entrance. When no one approached, the magic trap on the ground gradually subsided, the flames went out, the ice melted, and the lightning vanished.
The Navy helped the wounded heal, and then discussed their next plans and how to enter the hall. Soon, someone noticed the traces left by Anrui's advance, and suggested that he follow this route step by step, and not rush past. This proposal was eventually echoed by the vast majority of people.
Although there is a reference to the path that Anrui has walked, these navies still have to spend a lot of time to catch up with Anrui.
Anrui withdrew his gaze and returned his attention to his feet.
"Everybody pay attention to the navy and prevent them from using long-range attacks." Anrui commanded, and then jumped to the brick in front of him, triggering a new magic trap.
He continued to crack the trap, steady, and pushed forward.
That group of navies is also doing the same thing, and there is no small action of sneak attack for the time being.
As the group approached the end of the hall, there was a closed door in the same style as the one at the entrance.
The Navy thought that Anrui's target was the gate at the end, but that was not the case.
After reaching the back of the hall, Anrui changed his direction, and instead of heading towards the door, he turned left and headed for the corner. The move caught the attention of the Navy.
"Why did he go that way? Is he going to go around that gate? A lanky, slender, stubb-like navy guessed.
"There's nothing wrong with that, right?"
"Keep your eyes peeled. Keep an eye on him and see what tricks he wants to play. The kid chose a tortuous route instead of a straight line. Seems to know a lot about here. ”
The navy cheered up and stared at Anrui's every move.
Under the gaze of many navies, An Rui came to the left corner of the hall, and only need to take a step further to reach the square brick in the far corner. He looked at the brick, and there was a gleam in his eyes that others didn't know. But he knew very well that there was a secret passage under this brick!
This secret passage is the real way, if you enter through that gate. Surely you will die, because behind that door, there is a group of very terrible things. Only through this secret passage can you get around the room behind the door. Reach the deepest part of the labyrinth.
In the Secret Order of the Six-Pointed Star. Only a handful of people are aware of the existence of this secret passage.
In order to protect the secret passage from being discovered, Marder placed an extremely powerful magic trap on this brick, and this magic trap was the most destructive of all the bricks in the hall.
Fortunately, Anrui has already prepared a countermeasure.
He took a small, sealed bag out of his trouser pocket, tore through the bag, and threw the entire bag onto the bricks in the corner.
The bag contains a large swarm of small ants, which are also life forms and can also trigger magic traps.
The trap on the brick is touched. A pitch-black magic array appeared, and black light flickered on the magic array. The black mist rolls around, with an eerie skull pattern in the middle. A piercing scream came from it, echoing through the hall, and many had to cover their ears.
The ants that fell into the enveloping range of the magic array died one after another and froze in place, but there was not a single scar on the surface of their bodies.
"Is this the magic of the fabled dead?" Sam looked at the pitch-black magic array, slightly moved.
Dead magic is a type of curse magic that has a terrifying effect of erasing life, no matter who it is, no matter how strong it is, once hit by dead magic, there is a certain chance of being killed. The destructive power of this magic is calculated in terms of chance, and the greater the chance, the more terrifying the effect.
The average chance of dying magic is about 10%, which is not very high, and there is still a good chance of surviving the magic.
This magic circle has been carefully crafted by Marder, and there are a hundred dead magic spells in it, and they will be released at the same time in an instant!
Even if there is only a 10% chance of a single spell, a hundred spells released at the same time are enough to kill someone. No matter how lucky you are, you can't survive the attack of so many dying magics.
If you don't know the truth, stepping on this brick is equivalent to being sentenced to death, and there is no suspense.
Fortunately, An Rui knew the details and used a bag of ants to crack this magic trap.
The magic array ran out of strength and gradually faded, and more than half of the ants in the bag were killed and injured, and only half survived, avoiding the hundred dead magic.
A dead spell can only take one life, and there are more than two hundred of these ants.
The magic is cracked, and the bricks are out of danger.
Anrui stepped forward, and the bricks were unharmed, and the terrible dead magic did not come out again. He summoned a three-headed dragon pet and joined them to attack the bricks beneath his feet. These bricks are extraordinary, reinforced by earth-based magic, harder than metal, and invulnerable to fire and water, without any weaknesses, and can only be destroyed little by little by brute force.
Only by destroying the bricks can you reach the secret passage below.
It was a chore, and it took twenty minutes to break the bricks, to say the least. This is also the reason why Anrui did not choose to break the bricks to move forward, which is too time-consuming and not feasible.
Sam and the others then came to the brick and joined the destruction of the brick, leaving only a few people to keep an eye on the navy.
Once again, their actions attracted the attention of the Navy.
"They're attacking that brick, could there be something important down there?"
"It's possible."
"Hurry up and stop them, we can't let them get what is down there. Archers, wizards, act! ”
The navy of the Empire on which the sun never sets was red-eyed, and the archers and wizards attacked one after another, sending arrows and magic to the place where An Rui and the others were.
"Water Guard!" Sam snorted, slapped his big hand on the ground, and a water shield rose from the ground, enveloping everyone in it, and the attack hit it, but it couldn't break through. Sam crouched on the ground, maintaining the magic and keeping everyone safe.
The navy tried their best, but they still couldn't break through the shield that Sam had put up.
An Rui and everyone worked together to bombard the bricks, and finally smashed the bricks, making a hole big enough for one person to jump down. Anrui stood next to the hole, wiped his sweat, and looked down.
The hole leads to a dark secret passage.
"There is no danger in this secret passage, everyone go down with me." Anrui was the first to jump. (To be continued......)
