Chapter 17: The Most Unlikely Option

This shijie is very strange, often the most unlikely things turn out to be true, and the most likely things are far away from us.

Xian Hai added the sect and hurriedly met with Xiao Zixuan. The two of them formed a team, and Xiao Zixuan led the team to run straight to the coordinates of X:190Y:170 at the main gate of the palace. They are going to find the deputy general Ma at the gate of the palace to get double the experience when fighting monsters (referred to as double) and go to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to fight monsters and upgrade.

The system prepares 12 hours of double time for players every week, with a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 4 hours at a time. Even so, Xian Hai and Xiao Zixuan didn't dare to take more, after all, the group was a team of players from level 10 to level 15, and the team members could leave the team at any time, so they only received 1 hour of double.

As for the three friends who Xianhai and Xiao Zixuan had previously brushed their experience with the shipwreck in the East Bay, they had already been contacted, and they each had their own experience team, so there was no need to worry about it.

Before continuing Xian Hai and Xiao Zixuan to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to level up, let's first have a brief understanding of the upper part of the main road, that is, the half of Chang'an City where the officials live.

First of all, due to the division of the central road, the whole city can be said to be divided into two large triangles. The upper triangle is for the officials, and the lower triangle is for the people. We've pretty much covered the next triangle in the previous chapter, and the rest will be introduced later as the story unfolds.

The upper triangle, with the main gate of the palace as the line, there is a longitudinal and horizontal north and south parapet wall, with the wall as the line, xiangshang, or the big triangle to the west, it can be said that 90% of the ground belongs to the palace area. In addition, on the inside of the moat, there is a moat-like river running parallel to it, which flows north and out of the map.

On the north-western side of this triangle, there are two important sites that must be mentioned.

This small triangle belongs to the place outside the palace, and there are basically no buildings, except for a small pavilion in the north corner. The coordinates of the small pavilion are large and supreme, and they are located around X:385Y:285. In the small pavilion 24 hours a day, there stood a big man dressed in red cotton clothes, with a large and round face, and a full beard. He was called the gang leader, and he was always dancing his right arm as if to incite the masses. Players can pay 300W Fantasy Coins to this NPC to start their own gang. After the gang is successfully established, the player can go directly back to their gang through him and work on various gang missions. But this isn't the only way to get into the gang.

In addition, at the top of the small triangle, that is, in the position of the west corner, there is a small road next to the rockery outside the palace, there is a stone bridge on the road, and there is a teleportation circle at the top of the stone bridge, the coordinates are as large as X:310Y:270.

With the protective wall as a straight line, it runs through the north and south, with the palace garden in the south and the gang chief in the north. From south to north, there are: Chang'an Yamen, Qin Mansion, Qin Mansion backyard (where the backyard sells existence value), the place where the hero conference is registered, Prime Minister Yin's Mansion, the open space square in front of the main gate of the palace and the bell tower, Guozijian, Tiantai, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Huasheng Temple teleportation circle, in addition to the NPC gang opposite the east gate of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and Chang'an Fushou Store.

Among the above more famous buildings and NPCs, the ones that need to be specially introduced are Chang'an Fushou Store, Gang Leader, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and Rooftop.

Chang'an Fushou Store is located next to the river on the side of the road, as large as coordinates X: 515Y: 315, and only sells three kinds of goods here: candles, yellow paper, and incense. Generally speaking, these three items are all required by the sect masters when they are low-level masters, and they are occasionally used in some special festival activities, among which incense will also be used in the plots of level thirty or forty.

Coming out of the Fushou store, out of the courtyard, a few steps forward, at the river with coordinates X:510Y:315, is the location of the NPC gang leader. He was accompanied by a carriage or two with a canopy on wheels, and only a white horse to pick him up. The player can also use NPC gangs to lure people back to the gang, and while the gang leader can also bring the player back to their own gang, there is a fundamental difference between the two. The Gang Leader can only let the player go back to their own gang, while the Gang Leader can let the player enter any gang by clicking on the dialog box and entering the number of the gang you want to enter. Therefore, in this sense, the gang leader is also the only teleportation NPC when the gang starts a war between gangs.

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda occupies a relatively large area, mainly because it is surrounded by a calf-high stone fence that encloses a large open space. From the perspective of the game, there are only two entrances to the wild goose, one is the south gate (from which players usually enter) and the other is the east gate; The south wall is facing the teleportation perimeter of the temple (as large as the coordinates X: 520Y: 280), and outside the west wall is a small open space.

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is the only place in Chang'an City to fight monsters and upgrade. The whole tower is seven floors high, and it is full of bright thunder (Ming Lei: It is a monster that is directly displayed in the map, and the player generally needs to take the initiative to attack, but in the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, as long as the player and the monster come into contact, they will immediately enter the battle), and the level of the monster in each Xiangshang layer will be increased to a certain extent. However, on the seventh floor, except for NPC town tower gods, there are no monsters. This is more suitable for players from level 10 to level 38.

There are NPC super witch doctors in the center of the first, third, and fifth floors of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and players can spend a small amount of money to restore the state of the summoned beast to the best state, which can be said to greatly improve the player's leveling efficiency. Of course, this NPC will be found in any map that fights monsters and leveled up, and even in many city maps.

The second, third, fourth, and fifth floors of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda have a plot BOOS respectively, and he will not take the initiative to attack the player, and other players will take the initiative to attack him, and it will not have any effect, unless the player receives the corresponding story task, and the task is done here, the plot battle will be triggered.

In addition, it is also worth mentioning that the Minglei monsters in the Big Wild Goose Pagoda are not motionless, they will run a few steps around them every few seconds. At the same time,The system will brush out a part of the monster every once in a while.,Until the brush reaches a certain limit.,The whole tower is full of monsters.,Every step will cut into a battle.,But this situation will only happen after a period of time in the open area.,When the area is just opened, the monsters in the tower often can't keep up with the player to fight monsters and upgrade.。

Before talking about the rooftop, Zuihou must first mention the flying props in the game, one is the guide flag, and the other is the flying charm. Although both are flying props, there is also a considerable gap.

First of all, the acquisition of the Guide Banner is not directly sold by the system NPC, but purchased from the Fairy Shop after the player has learned the second-level fairy shop by consuming story skill points. The guide flags come in a variety of colors and can be used 20 times each. But it's not something you can use immediately after purchasing, you need to set the coordinates. The coordinates can only be used after learning Qimen Dunjia by consuming plot skill points.

Qimen Dunjia is divided into three levels: the first level can be used to set the coordinates in Changshou Village, the second level increases the Aolai Kingdom, and the third level increases Chang'an City. As long as you learn Qimen Dunjia, you can set the guide flag anywhere on the map of these three cities, and there is no limit on the number of times the current guide flag can be used. Therefore, most of the player's prop bag is often a guide flag.

The second is the flying charm. The flying talisman can be purchased through the system NPC Luo Daoren (which appears in Chang'an City, but the coordinates are not fixed, and is generally based on three locations: one is the post station, the other is outside the blacksmith shop, and the third is dozens of steps north of the bell tower), or it can be purchased through the level 5 fairy shop (full level 5); In addition, Fang Cun Mountain's disciple talisman skill can be made by consuming a certain amount of magic and vitality when the skill reaches level 30.

The Flying Charm can fly directly to the four major cities in the game: Chang'an City, Jianye City, Aolai Kingdom, and Changshou Village, and the landing location is fixed. And because stalls are allowed in the landing locations of these four cities, there are often many players selling goods near the landing points, but the goods sold in different cities are fundamentally different. Among the four landing cities, the only special one is Chang'an City, and the place where the flight charm lands in Chang'an City is the top of the rooftop.

The rooftop is very large, a three-story trapezoid, and although stalls can be set up on it, not everywhere can be set up. The top layer of it is an eight-seal pattern, and the NPC Yuan Tiangang is standing in the center of the pattern. On this level, only part of the front of the eight seals can be set up for stalls. As for the other two floors, you can set up stalls at will.

In addition, the trade around the rooftop is also a little different in different districts. Players in some districts set up stalls here to sell all kinds of third-level medicines, cooking and other things needed by the division, while players in some districts buy and sell all kinds of groceries here.

The back of the rooftop is directly facing the Tang Dynasty Mansion, and in front of the rooftop is the Central Avenue.

Xian Hai and Xiao Zixuan received double the experience, and then pulled the team along the central avenue towards the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. But what has always been incomprehensible to Xiao Zixuan is why Xian Hai didn't choose the Tang Dynasty Mansion with high injuries and high attacks, but chose a sect like Fangcun Mountain, which is extremely difficult to upgrade.
