Chapter 12: Standing Up (1)
The mountains will fall, the water will flow, and they will never fall on their own. - Chopin
Chopard had drunk a bottle of vodka in a matter of minutes, and he was now full of heat, his complexion was rosy, and his frozen body was moving freely.
Chopard then ate a few pieces of cold cake and compressed biscuits, which were considered desserts. Finally, I grabbed a handful of chocolate purple candy, opened the sugar candy and put it in my mouth to chew it, which was a snack after a meal.
When Chopard had had eaten and drunk, he tried to get up from the snow. Although Chopard's stomach was stuffed with high-calorie food, his legs were too cold for so long that it was difficult for him to stand up without the help of external forces.
Chopard had no choice but to make a crooked crutch out of broken pieces of wood from a courier box. The wood-chip crutches could not bear the full weight of Chopard's body, but they were able to support his legs.
Chopard stood up tremblingly, leaning on the support of a wooden cane. Without the thick snow to stop it, the blizzard invaded Chopard's weakened body like a beast out of its cage.
Chopard could not resist the force of the wind and fell into the snow, knowing that if he could not get up again, he would never be able to stand up, and would sleep alone in the snow and ice.
This made Chopin feel fear, he was not afraid of the hardships of life, let alone the adventures of the unknown, he wanted to live a more wonderful life. If no one knew who he was, no one shed sad tears for him, and he left this world quietly, he was really unwilling.
Chopin felt that he had not yet had a wonderful life, and that he still had to stand up and create a wonderful life, and that he would get up from wherever he fell.
