Chapter 46: Grandma prays for blessings
The earth is like a naughty mischievous man who poured ink, and everywhere is pitch black. A few dead trees swayed in the cold wind, the dim street lamps on the road were elongated, and the shadows of the branches swaying looked particularly strange.
Grandma was dazed and walking alone in the cold wind, and it seemed to be able to penetrate into every corner of her body through the tiny pores on her skin. The cold air that instantly soaked her whole body failed to wake her up. She lifted her tired eyes and looked at the road ahead, and the cold air of the stone slabs hit her.
Passing through the main road, Grandma turned on the flashlight and went into the winding sheep intestine path and climbed up the mountain. The bright light of the small flashlight, like a small firefly, was instantly swallowed by a huge black screen.
In addition to the wind whistling in her ears, grandma only heard her own heavy breathing and her own kicking! Kick! The sound of walking.
The mountain is too quiet, the quiet is a little scary, and the quiet grandmother is a little flustered. How she thought: It would be nice if Kaiyan was at home, and it would be nice if Xiao Yaozu was an adult. Even if you have a dog by your side at the moment, you can also give yourself courage.
The surrounding trees stood silently, with thick shadows, and they looked heavy, as if grandma couldn't cross through.
She looked up at the sparse treetops, there were no leaves, and the branches were empty. I feel like I've been gone for a long time, and it's still dark like the bottom of a pot on my head.
Climbing up the mountain step by step, my grandmother finally reached the top of the mountain. Standing on the top of the mountain and resting for a while, I heard the waves "whoa-la-la-la!" The sound of lapping on the reef.
She smiled with satisfaction: After going down the mountain, I will go to the Mazu Temple immediately, and I am very glad that it did not rain today. Otherwise, this black and sloppy thing really won't get here.
Grandma walked down quickly, and when she was about ten steps to the foot of the mountain, there was a straw rope on the small stone road, and I don't know who had chopped firewood and missed it, and it was in the middle of the road. Grandma didn't pay attention to the hook, her body immediately lost her balance, and the things in her hand were thrown out uncontrollably, and the whole person fell down quickly with her head down. The nervous hand grabbed the side, just grabbed a thick vine, swung it to a small terrace, and fell to the ground.
Suddenly, the grandmother was so frightened that she was crying, and she was really scared: what if she had something and left two children? Kaiyan and they didn't come back, and they worked hard for most of their lives. It's here! Sons can't die for themselves.
I also remembered how much I had been wronged since the old man left. I thought that when my son grew up, everything would be fine, but I never thought that my son and daughter-in-law would go abroad together, and I would be even more miserable. The more I thought about it, the more sad I became, the more I cried, and when I was tired of crying, I cried enough, got up and habitually patted the soil on my body. Looking at the light in the dry grass, he felt for the light, found the flashlight that had dropped the glass in front of him, and took it and packed up the incense, candles, matches, and red bags containing these things scattered all over the ground.
Only then did he take a flashlight to take a closer look at the vicinity, and if he didn't pull the vines in time, he fell directly to the foot of the mountain, and there was a white sea water on the side.
At this look, the cold sweat was scared out, and I was glad that there was a Bodhisattva blessing in the dark. I wore a lot of clothes today, but my hands were rubbed a little bit of skin, and I didn't feel any pain anywhere else on my body.
I blamed myself for not sleeping all night, I was too confused at first, and I went in the wrong direction at the three-way intersection. From another mountain road, although it is a little farther away, you can go to the Mazu Temple at any time.
Although it is a shortcut to go to the Mazu Temple from here, you must wait for the tide to recede and pass through a tidal flat. But now the tide has not yet receded, and it is too far to go back before dawn.
Grandma let me fall just now, and people are much more sober, and they don't dare to take risks anymore. Just sit by the wall in the middle of this small terrace and hide from the wind.
Grandma didn't dare to look at the waves, and even the sound of the waves crashing against the reef became more and more harsh when she heard it, and her heart became more and more uncomfortable.
Back then, when Kaiyan was only eight months old. Once, his father went out to sea to fish, and on a stormy night with lightning and thunder, he died in the belly of a fish.
Grandma waited hard at the beach, but there was no news, so she could only give her grandfather a clothed grave. From then on, my grandmother no longer went to the beach to pick up any seafood......
Wait! Wait! I don't know how long the time has passed, but my grandmother has already fallen asleep. She woke up suddenly, and Xiao Yaozu was still waiting for her at home. When I opened my eyes, I saw that the sky was already a little white, and the sea water had begun to recede.
Grandma hurriedly got up, patted the dust, picked up her things and left.
Looking at the Mazu Temple, it is in front of you, but the tidal flats that have just receded are still too wet. It's not easy to walk, the clay is still sticky to the shoes, walk one step at a time, and wear the shoes once they fall.
The grandmother who walked was out of breath, more tired than picking a load of sweet potatoes. Finally got out of this large tidal flat, shook off the clay on the soles of the shoes, don't wait to make the temple dirty, it will be very disrespectful to the Bodhisattva.
After entering the temple, she lit candles and incense, and her grandmother knelt on the futon with her legs, folded her hands and bowed her head in prayer. I told the Bodhisattva what I wanted to say and what I should say: "Mazu Niangniang! Bless our family ......"
When grandma came out of the Mazu Temple, the sky was already slightly bright. She put on the incense and candles, and hurried to another temple.
Grandma didn't have a watch, she didn't know what time it was, and she didn't know how long it had been.
There is only a big temple left far away, and I haven't had time to pray for blessings.
When my grandmother was sweating all over, she arrived at the temple, and just wanted to step into the high threshold with one foot, she heard two familiar voices arguing.
She couldn't believe her ears, and she heard the sound of her grandmother and the old woman arguing in the temple. How is this possible? How could two people of such an age not know that they couldn't make a loud noise in the temple, let alone quarrel.
Grandma quietly looked through the big crack in the temple door and looked inside, and it was indeed these two people arguing inside.
So, she didn't go into the temple and quietly hid behind a large rock nearby.
Not long after, a few more people came together, and they heard someone arguing in the temple from a distance. These people walked into the temple quickly, and they knocked these two people out at once.
"It's all your fault for being an old immortal, now it's okay! Plug in the incense and let people burst out. ”
"It's all you, the second goods, you didn't fight enough last night, or you didn't scold enough. I just lit the candle and you deliberately blew it out. When I met you in the morning, it was like a ghost."
"You're a big-headed ghost, you were the first to mess with me last night. I will extinguish your candles, and I will destroy your whole family, so that you will pray that you will not be haunted by evil spirits. Ha-ha"
"Dead old woman! I can still laugh, you didn't even worship the incense you lit, and you prayed for others. If you extinguish my candle, your conscience is too bad, and you will be punished! ”
……
The two of them are still at the gate of the temple, you and I are arguing endlessly.
The people in the noisy temple couldn't calm down and pray for blessings. It's not okay to be angry, they all rushed out with great momentum, rolled up their sleeves and were about to hit someone.
Frightened, grandma and the old woman were so frightened that they ran away quickly.
Grandma watched these two nasty people walk away before she entered the temple with peace of mind......
